A blast from the afternoon past!

The previous post is in relation to the American soap and this is the British soap of the same name which ran twice weekly at 2pm on Thursdays and Fridays from 19th October 1972 until May 1975. Set in the fictional Midland General Hospital it centred around the lives and loves of staff and patients who found themselves in the busy environment of a city hospital. Original theme tune by Derek Scott, Title sequences by George Wallder and starring David Garth as Dr Armstrong and Lewis Jones as Mr William Parker-Brown. Tony Adams later starred as Dr Neville Bywaters. Lynda Bellingham got her first break in this show as Nurse Hilda Price ( and later became the Oxo Mum in the TV ads) Carmen Munroe also starred as Sister Washington and John Halstead as cheeky porter Arnold Capper. This this is the best show on. my favs are jason!!!!! sunny, spinelli, elizabeth, sam,!!! coop, carly!! jacks, mr. craig, aka jerry jacks, monica, luke, lu lu, maxi,dillan. i also really like lucky but im so mad that he turned in jason.. who am i kidding i love the whole gang. although i am getting really nervous about them talking about jason, and sunny going off if that happens i will prob. not watch it come on people they make the show. i tivo it every day and cant wait to start watching night shift!! yeah baby!!!!NIGHT SHIFT!!
