    Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

    FILTER BY TYPE

    • TRIVIA (3)

      • The plot line with the laughing clown was featured on the 8/17/2007 episode of The Soup.

      • The laughing clown in the lobby was dressed identical to the clown on the embroidery that Mrs. Storch left Jake.

      • The patient Jared Moore has several parallels with Jason Morgan. First off, they both had head injuries which changed their personalities. Secondly, they share the same initials - J.M. Third, the last name of Jason's biological mother was Moore.

    • QUOTES (6)

      • Jason: If you want to ask her out, just ask her out already.
Spinelli: The Angel of Mercy spurned The Jackal. I dare not approach her again.
Jason: Yeah, well, maybe if you would stop all the games and use normal words to talk to her.

      • (As the clown in the lobby laughs uncontrollably, Spinelli hides behind Jason)
Jason: What - what are you doing?
Spinelli: Ok, you know that there are few things that strike terror into the heart of The Jackal but clowns... clowns are, umm, spine-chillingly horrifying. I mean, just look at him. Menacing, he is. They've always... they've always creeped me out. I mean, there's something so weird about someone who would talk and act so strangely.
        (Jason looks right at Spinelli)

      • Epiphany (to Jason): You might be "The Man" outside this hospital, Mr. Morgan, but inside these walls, you answer to me.

      • Dr. Ford: I have no choice but to terminate your employment.
Pablo: Oh, it's Dr. Lee complaining alright because I refused to do her. Dr. Hot-to-Trot wanted to have sex but I turned her down. You see, I wasn't aware that my job description included sexual favors for horny doctors!
Dr. Ford: Mr. Garcia, I would appreciate it if you...
Pablo: No! No! No! You better start hiring fast because if you fire all the guys Dr. Lee has jumped, you're not going to have any staff left.

      • Spinelli: That's one creepy harlequin, huh? But The Jackal has pity in his heart. I even tried to reach out and make a cosmic connection.
Toussaint: In other words, you talked the poor man's ear off.
Spinelli: Well, see, The Jackal has a long and troubled history with those of the jester persuasion... but I poured my heart out to him and The Painted One didn't respond.
Toussaint: Well, sometimes a man needs some quiet in his own mind.
Spinelli: Wow. That was an utterance worthy of Stone Cold.

      • Leo (to Andy): You didn't tell me your guy was suicidal. He crawled into a gurney with Epiphany?

    • NOTES (2)

      • The song playing at the end of the episode on the hospital's roof was a version of the hit song, "Dancing in the Street," sang by Rie Sinclair.
There were two other original songs by Rie Sinclair featured in the episode as well.

      • Kent Masters King (Lainey) does not appear in this episode, even though she is credited at the beginning of the episode.
