With a half-second glimpse of John O'Hurley as a street cop with a detective asking about Jason, the cute non-synergy for that night's Dancing With The Stars Dance-Off, ABC Daytime's energy was shot. Or contractually fulfilled. Whichever.
Maybe I should become depressed and delusional- Carly was able to whip up a wedding cake, florally decorate the living room/ shooting gallery, get in her old wedding dress, and call the priest. Carly was multi-tasking for sure!
And yet, Sonny and his endless mouthings about supposedly understanding Carly's Dark Place refuses to get real and meaningful help for the woman he claims endlessly to "owe." He has NO legal say about her treatment! Durant has more say than Sonny does. This is such a badly written and obviously unresearched story. If written smartly this could be an actually gripping story, but it's not and it's not. It's an insult to anyone going through mental health issues and their families.
Dr. Winters- a female professional of color? With Justus, another professional of color? On-screen together? Going on a date? Well, three out of four is a step forward. For 1960!
Jax calling Lucky's bluff was great. Too bad the story sucks massively as it is being written.
Watch the slow dissolution of what was once a standard of the medium.
