This show has literally been the only show I watch on tv now adays. I can't understand the low ratings though. Oh well im not paying attention to them that much anyway.

This episode didn't do much for me but I guess you're going to have a weak one during the course of a series. All that action and nothing racy dialogue been there nothing new. The attempt to show the disorganization of war and how it affects people was done well but that was about it.

So far, the American viewing public has not flocked to any of the movies with the Iraq War as the theme.

I liked the episode I really haven't disliked anything in this series this is real there are no square jawed barrell chested generals or soldiers out their that make a right call every time and does no wrong. Many people think thats what the military is made up of and their wrong the military has it's share of George W's and John Kerrys. Encino man is living proof. How the **** do you not know what danger close is and your a CO?

I got confused about this part - shooting at the camels - from Trombley (and viewers) POV, could he see people with the camels?

Also, when Colbert and officers tell Trombley about possiblity of investigation, Trombley asks Colbert if Colbert will be okay. Does Trombley ask about the condition of the kids? Or are we to assume he doesn't care?

Trombley doesn't know is what i get from everything that happened and the way we see it. He address the sgt because he thinks that since colbert gave the order the sgt will possibly be courtmartialed for trombleys actions.

Thanks for responding. I got that he was concerned for Colbert - just unclear about Trombley's mindset about kid. There was a part where he saw Colbert and others take kid to Godfather. Colbert took responsibility in scene where kid is being checked over. I should have DVR'd if I wanted to do analysis

I thought this episode demonstarted that War can be a crappy business.

In regards to the ratings, I think a majority of people are fed up with the war in Iraq and Afghanistan and a series like this would seem like we're getting the war rammed down our throats all the time.
