  • There's something Maes Hughes/Maria Ross about Masami noticing the small cut Gawl sustains...

    9.0
While this episode was completely action packed and awkwardly sweet, it failed in many aspects. More generator fights and blood then previously showcased distracted from the lack of a solid exchange between Gawl and Masami. If they're going to go on with the cliche of opposites attract, they're going to have to put more effort into it than this. It's clear they want the viewer to realize that both Gawl and Masami feel something towards each other, but it's not expanded upon, it's weak. Having Masami notice the small cut on Gawl and connect it with the generator's wound... it was too much. Her attention to detail hasn't been shown to be that strong in the rest of the series.

    I give it a 9/10.moreless
