Jason is helping Carmen plan her quincineara. George thinks she shouldn't because they are low on money and only Angie is providing money. George feels he's becoming a housewife and Angie is the provider. They decide the party means too much to Carmen to cancel. At the party Carmen announces her love for Jason in front of everyone, and Jason gets embarrassed and leaves. Angie and George argue about stereotypical roles as money provider and economic decisions in the family. When George is told he has a job again, he brags about being the money provider, oblivious to how Angie felt about his ego. At home, George tells Carmen Jason is gone for good. Angie says she bought a washer without his say and George complains. Angie tells him they're a team on money decisions, but for this one time she already bought the washer.
