      • Episode Title: Is This Trip Necessary?
"Is This Trip Necessary" was a popular slogan during World War II. During the days of gasoline rationing, the slogan was used to remind people to only drive when absolutely necessary. However the phrase became so ubiquitous that was often used as a punchline in cartoons and radio shows of the period. During the sixties "trip" became a popular slang term for a hallucinatory drug experience.
