When ape man Armstrong falls to his death after an attempt to carry 99 to the top of the Smarts' apartment building(much in the manner of King Kong), Max quotes the final line of the 1933 movie classic.
As ape turned assassin Armstrong falls to his death with the famous Tarzan yell. The yell first appeared in 1932's Tarzan the Ape Man starring Johnny Weismuller has been associated with the character ever since.
