Getting Away From It All is a comedy film made for the TV screen that
debuted on ABC. Roy Kammerman wrote the script while Lee Philips
directed the film. In it, Fred (Larry Hagman) and Helen Clark (Barbara
Feldon) along with another couple from the city decide to retreat from
their busy lives in the city to a more peaceful existence in the rural
countryside. Through a series of mishaps, the couples learn that living
in the countryside is not as easy as they thought it would be.
