Episode Summary

EDIT

GAC travels to the Sloss Furnaces. Built in 1871, it was one of the first large steel factories. However, the Sloss Furnace holds a dark history of death. Many workers died from high exposure to Carbon Monoxide, and a few fell into molten steel and were incinerated. One of the most gruesome deaths involved a worker being caught in gears. Are the spirits of these workers still there, will Zak, Nick, and Aaron survive an entire night locked inside?

  • QUOTES (3)

    • Zak: (on one of the tower catwalks) Right now, Nick and I are standing on the same catwalks where countless men fell to their deaths from sucking in carbon monoxide fumes that would come out of these towers. You know, they'd lose their coordination, and like I said, fall and splat like pancakes. So, we actually had to sign waivers 'cause we just scaled a 200 ft staircase with a bunch of loose steps and corroded rivets, because we could fall at any moment right now! And I want to get down!

    • Nick: (during a solo EVP session) Do you hate me?
      Male EVP: I hate Zak.

    • Patrick Shelby: My dad, he worked for Sloss. When he went to work, they had a saying, 'Kill a man, hire another one. Kill a mule, buy another one. Don't kill no mules, they cost $25!'
