I like Ghost Hunters and I like Ghost Hunters International but I'm really sorry to say that I'm tired of watching the GHI crew go to really stupid places for gimic value. I don't care for gimics just like most people don't. I don't care if you are visiting a bull ring or Hitler's base, I just want you to go to a house that's haunted. When I say haunted, I mean, it's actually suppose to be haunted and not just because some Fernandez Juan d'whatever said he heard something but when he turned around there was nothing there.
The TAPS crew just visit a house or a barn or a hotel. There's hardly any gimics going on. The advantage is that these places are always really quiet, so noises are picked up easier.
The GHI stuff is always out in the open and there are all sorts of noise issues with animals, the wind, trees, trains and all that nonesense. The GHI crew never actually find anything of any significant use.
Here's a really good idea... do international stuff, but keep it to hotels and houses where it's quiet. Alternatively, just don't call yourselves GHI and stick to USA and UK/Ireland and re-visit places that the TAPS team have already had great experiences in. This is so you can also find cool stuff knowing there's going to more of a chance of finding something than in some crappy bull ring.
At the end of the day you're suppose to care about finding evidence.
If you visit a place and you capture alot of evidence, just go back there more often because it's the evidence you're suppose to care about, not the gimic of visiting Hitler or Titanic or Indiana's Temple of Doom etc..
Gimics are bad.
Keep it simple. It's about finding ghosts.
This episode was absolutely terrible.moreless
