The team investigates the historic Mishler Theatre and the Altoona Railroaders Memorial Museum.

At the theater, the owner and employees have seen the late owner walking into the wall where his old office used to be, sitting in the seats, and have heard him walking on the catwalk above the stage.

At the museum, the spirit of a railroad worker has been seen.

During the investigation, Jason complains to Grant about missing equipment that has been lost while in Brian's charge.moreless

I'm a big fan of Ghost Hunters and I appreciate every episode, but if I had to pick out any episode I didn't like, it'd be this one. For one, neither of the locations proved to be very interesting. The ghost stories were great, but TAPS did not get much as far as evidence. Another thing, I have to roll my eyes everytime Jason starts talking about how Brian misplaced equipment. I know an expensive equipment loss is a problem, but he talks about it a lot. Another thing, the episode ends with a tease of the next episode then cuts off at the start of the investigation which is simply bad editing. The episode has a saving grace though with footage of a TAPS barbeque. I like the close-up of the tag that says no horseplay inthe inflatable playset then Jason wrestling and brow-beating everyone in it as it rocks about to explode. The incident is touched by footage of Brian asking everyone "Did you touch the chair?" from the railroad investigation. I have to wonder if Brian went too far to prove he did not touch it in the case.moreless
  • It's too bad that with such interesting locations that nothing is captured. I wish the crew could stay for a few nights instead of just one. The only thing this episode did for me was to intensify my dislike for Brian.moreless

Is it any wonder that Brian lost his regular job?? If ever I have seen a Category 1 screw-up, it's him. He takes no responsibility for his action (or inaction), and then stands around dumb-founded with a stunned look on his face when it all goes foul. The only crew member I despise more than him, is Brian Bell: the loud-mouthed, pushy, holier-than-thou doofus gorilla who struts around with his chest puffed out, but can never be on time, and doesn't take his work seriously. What troubles me more than either of these two is that the only thing I can take from this episode is a growing resentment for both of them. No supernatural phenomena, no EVPs, not even a stinking orb. For such intriguing locations, the only thing memorable about this episode is how Brian manages to be retained as the group's case manager.moreless

    • Jason: (getting lost on the way to the Railroad Museum) Make sure you tell Brian when we get there, say it was your fault. I can't yell at him about something and do the same damn thing, it wouldn't be productive.

    • Grant: (investigating the Mishler Theater) Well, we definitely know they have plumbing problems.

    • Steve: One of the rules of TAPS is never go anywhere alone- never, under any circumstances. There's a couple of reasons for that: for authenticating evidence, and another one is, so you won't get scared. If I'm down here by myself and something grabs my leg, I'm going to scream like a schoolgirl, you know, I'm not gonna hang around.

    • Jason: (with a sigh) Think the only anomalies that have happened so far are pretty much in Brian's head.

    • Jason: No, a chair dancing with Brian, you know, singing 'Be Our Guest' is rock solid evidence. Jason is making a humorous reference to the Disney movie Beauty And The Beast, which featured furniture and cutlery dancing to the song "Be Our Guest", sung by Lumiere, the servant transformed into a candlestick.

    • Jason: (seeing Brian in night vision goggles) You will be assimilated! Jason is referring to the biggest nemeses of the Star Trek: The Next Generation's universe, the Borg. These beings were part biological, and part machine, and usually had one eye covered by some sort of mechanical sensor, as Brian was. The Borg often declared to those they came in contact with that they "will be assimilated", which meant they would be forcibly added the the Borg Collective.
