Okay, this is something that happened to me, not both of us.

It was in the same house in Morenci, in my room.

I was sitting at my computer, just playing games and listening to headphones.  All of a sudden I feel as though someone kicked the back leg of the chair.  I swung around and....nothing.  Creepy. Like, 30 seconds later, it happens again.

I had to leave the room.

Keep in mind, my chair DOESN'T have back legs. Just the way it's built.  It's a metal chair and it balances on the front legs.

I tried to debunk it and if you kick the part it rests on, on the ground, you can't feel it.  There's no way it could've been the front ones either.

That's one experience that's always stuck with me.

I recently had a strange experience in the Sorrel-Weed house in Savannah Ga where Ghosthunters 2005 special was held. I was taking a picture at night and had the image of a man's face suspended in a window show up in my camera lense. It took several attempts to get the camera to take the picture, and the result was a blank window and wall, but the picture came out vertically and the camera was held horizontally. I have been searching for portraits or pictures of the Sorrel or Weed families to compare to the image that I saw, but have been unable to find any. I would like to find a copy of that Ghosthunters episode to see if there are any historic pictures included in the episode, but have been unable to find the dvd anywhere. Any suggestions? Thanks, Sue

I didn't exactly experience anything myself, but I worked at a nursing home in Albuquerque, New Mexico, as a nurse assistant for a number of years that was rumored to have a haunting by one of the ladies that use to live there. Many nurses, doctors and other nursing assistants, most of whom I knew, claim to have seen her wandering outside in the courtyard after all the doors were locked for the night, and when someone would go out there to escort her back into the building, there wouldn't be anyone there. Other's heard tapping on the window from that same courtyard, when there were no plants near that window or near enough breeze to blow leaves or gravel onto it. Other's say that sometimes when they'd walk down the hallway that ran along side the courtyard that they'd pass through a cold spot. There was one nurse who claimed she heard someone crying from the courtyard and when she went out to see if someone was out there, there was no one. I kind of wish I had experienced it myself, oh well. It was always a fun topic in the break room, especially whenever someone had a new experience.

When i was five i went to sleep on my bed and that night like every night i had my shade up , but the window locked. I woke up becuase i thought that i had heard something and when i looked out my window there was a man mid 30's-40's staring back at me and he had a beard and his eyes were just black and evil, i ran to my dad and we both went outside( it was during the winter) and ran to my window, there was no tracks anywhere, just ours. Then now when i wake up early in the moring, i have scratch marks on my arms and legs that bleed a little bit, but later on in the day when i go to take the bandage off, the scratches are already gone, but the blood is still there. They say that my house and a couple others were built on an ancient indian buriel ground and the sites of a couple deaths in the late 1700's and 1800's

my used to work in gettysburg and had these really cool pics but sadly the computer crashed and erashed all of it. . .but she did have a evp of dogs barking and guns firing in the major battle fields. . .I also saw a ghostly couple right out side of the rented house. . .I flew back into the house. . .she stayed at the Farmworths(I think) house and laid out toy horses (supposeable a little boy died there) and the next morning they were scattered all of the place. . .

I am what TAPS calls a sensitive. I have had around 10-15 visual experiences through my life(I am 1 and probably close to 100 audio experiences. Some of the experiences happened when I was with people I they could not hear or see what I could and it use to really scare me.

I will relate one of my experiences.

I was living with my dad and and stepmom and my brothers and sisters in Tulsa, Oklahoma. I shared a room with my younger brother and our door was one end of the hall and our parents door was the other end. Well, I was coming out of our bedroom one night and the hallway light was off but the kitchen light was on so I was still able to see just fine. I start walking towards the kitchen and I see my younger brother come out of our parents' room(the light was off so I figured he was hiding from our younger sisters) and goes into our older brother's room(which also has the light out). He is slowly walking the entire time, and as he turns to go into our brother's room he turns his head and looks at me. I softly walk towards the room because I am going to try and scare him. I jump around the cornerand makea loud noise as I turn the light on. I don't see him. So I look under the bed and he's not there. The only other place he could be is in the closet. I go over and open the door. Again he's not the their. There is only one door into the room. I walk out hoping that what I think just happened didn't. I walk into the living and there is no way he could have gotten past me without me seeing him. He is sitting on the couch watching TV and the rest of the family is also in there. They all saw him sitting on the couch for at least the past 30 minutes. I kinda get a chill from the realization of what had just happened. Didn't say anything else. I just sat on the couch and watched TV. I did'nt tell them what had happened because they do not believe in ghosts. That house has at least 4 spirits. Now I feel like telling all of my experiences, but I will tell just one more.

At the time my youngest sister was about 2 or 3. We were trying to find her so we could all watch a movie together. As usually we thought she was hiding because she thought it was fun to do so. We look for her about 30 minutes. I go into my sisters' room and she is sitting on the floor in the dark. Just sitting there; not even blinking. It was like she was in a trance. I shook her out of it and asked her what she was doing. She said "I was playing with the baby." I was a bit confused because she didn't have a doll within 2 feetof her. I told everyone and we all figured it was some kind of imaginary friend. About a month or so later we are sitting in the living room watching TV. I hear a noise so I listen closer. I heard a child crying. I looked around and all 3 of my sisters were in the room with us and they didn't have any toys that made sounds. I realized that my little sister had indeed seen the baby that we would hear crying.

I do not live with my dad anymore, but I will never return to that house. That house has a serious problem spirit wise. Both of these experiences are real. No part of them is fictional. I take spiritual activity seriously and would never lie about any experience.

This was probably just my imagination cause I didn't hear it that well but one time during the night, I thought I heard someone say "no" very softly. It was probably nothing because our house doesn't have a ghost or anything.

We were collecting a lot of evidence at Green Field, Scottsdale, AZ about ghost for a show based off this, Scream Searchers. We were doing a pre investigation. We caught

    1. Movement of shadows by the bushs, that suddenly fade away

    2. Something walks pasta gate, goes past trees and just disappears

    3. I was riding my bike when suddenly something just grabbed it and my bike broke and I fell off it

    4. My little sister said she didn't belive in ghost, at that moment, we heard a loud bam, like a soft gun shot, suddenly we feel wind behind us (even though actual wind was in front of us) We started running and the ghost chased us

Well when i 13 now im 14 lol!!

I woke up 1 night and i saw someone standing over my bed at first i just thought it was my sister trying to scare me, but it wasnt i my eyes adjusted to the dark and i saw this old man standing right over my bed looking at me then i got so freaked out. Yet i couldn't move i couldn't scream, thats all i wanted to do then after about 30 seconds it sort of just dissapeared. I lyed there for over 3 hours not being able to move or speak or even open my eyes i was so scared, i didn't know what to think.

I have had many more scary experiences like that but by now i don't get as scared i have learnt to live with it. Sometimes very strange things will happen in my room but i just take it like nothing happened!!

I have actually seen a ghost before. In my mom's bedroom there is a bed and a arm chair beside the bed on the southern wall, and a mirror/dresser on the northern wall. I was sleeping in the arm chair and my parents were sleeping in the bed. My instincts told me to wake up so I did. I looked at the dresser/mirror and saw a dark shadow of a woman looking in the mirror fixing her hair. I thought it was my mom since me and her are the only girls in the house. I sadi mom and the thing looked at me. I looked on the bed and my mom was asleep. The shadow walked toward me and got to the foot of my mom's bed and the wind carried it away. I didn't sleep the rest of the night. My friend and I have also heard many things in my school and at my house. I'm sencitive but not as much as her.

My husband was sleeping and all of a sudden he awoke to a loud clapping of boards. He sat up in bed and looked around but didn't see anything or hear anything again. He went back to sleep and again this very loud clapping of boards awoke him. He again sat up and saw a orange upside down coma and in it the face of my step father. It was in front of our big tall dresser. The face stayed there for a minute and then went up through the ceiling. My step father was buried that day. I believe he came to say goodbye. He was very close to my husband.

My experiences are'nt as scary as yours but whenever I go down to my basement there's a door facing you whenever I'm down there and ever time I look at the door I feel like someone is staring at me.And when I head up the stairs I feel like someone is following me up and I here footsteps. When I am Home alone I also feel like is staring at me from our hallway. It just scares the crap out of me!

I've had a couple experiences. The first was when I was 4 years old. I would sleep in my mom's room, and I woke up in the middle of the night. In front of the closet, I saw a man, all in white, just standing there. I closed my eyes so tight and cuddled up to my mom, and when I opened my eyes again he was gone. The next day, we got the news that my great-grandpa died

Another one was when I was in high school. My husband (who was my boyfriend at the time) and I went to his parent's house. It was around 10pm and he let the dog outside to play with the hose. My husband started to spray his brother's window with water just be funny. I told him to quit doing it because I didn't want to be rude and wake anyone up, and I looked at the window and saw the blinds move like someone was peeking out. I told my husband that he woke him up and my husband told me to wait outside. He went inside for a minute, came back out and said that no one was home. We got in the car and my mom let him stay at her house that night because we were freaked out, lol. A lot of other spooky things have happened in that house. Once my husband was sleeping and he woke up and thought he saw me standing by his bed, but it wasn't me. He said a girl figure lunged at him and when he tried to grab her, nothing was there. I think that house is haunted. There have been so many things that have happened there. I get the creeps just writing all this!

I don't know if you would consider these true ghostly experiences but I found them quite odd.

I used to have a board game called "Princess of the Palace" (lol corny, I know) and the objective of the game was to elude the witch and save the queen, thus awarding you the title of "princess of the palace". Well, we had it laying out the one night (since it was one of those board games that take you forever to set up) and we had all gone to bed. I remember waking up for some reason and hearing a cackling from downstairs that sounded like the witch from the game. Mind you, the button you have to press on the game is very small - too small for my cat to mess with. (anyways, she would have left a mess if she had bothered with it) My mom said the next day she heard it too. It was just wierd cause the game had never done that before.

Another experience I had was when my Lucky Waving Japanese Cat turned on in the night. My lucky cat is wierd in that you actually have to either hit the object it is standing on very hard to get it moving or tap it's waving arm. Well, I turn it off every night because it is loud in the dead silence. I woke up that night and here it was moving. I had no fan on and it was a couple of feet from my bed. All the same, I felt really wierded out.

I have had so many crazy experiences. Too many to list here.

I grew up in a pretty active house. There were all the stories of things that went on before I was born that my mother talks about (i.e. shades going up and down by themsleves; books falling off the shleves).

You could always hear footsteps upstairs. My brother had a typewriter that would type on its own when there was nobody upstairs. You could hear it down in the kitchen when that would happen. There were times when my brother, mother and I (on separate occasions) saw somebody walking in the house (different areas). I used to hear my name said a lot when I was a kid. It was a woman's voice. There was the time when I couldn't reach the key on this cabinet and it turned on its own for me. There was also a time (again on separate occasions) that my brother, mother and I all experienced something sitting down next to us. There used to be this really cold spot in the diningroom. That eventually seemed to go away. There were many, many other crazy things that went on here.

The craziest for me, though, was the time when I was in bed. I was so tired the one night. I felt something get into bed with me. I felt the mattress go down. I was kind of curious to look, but I was honestly so tired that I kind of didn't care. I just wanted to go to sleep. Well, this bed had a habit of the boards falling off of it. A few hours later I woke up to a very loud bang. I assumed that it was one of the boards (it was loud when one would fall off). So, I went back to sleep. When I woke up the next morning, the window was opened all the way (obviously the loud bang that I heard) and the shade was all the way up. That was a really strange experience for me in the house.

I always wonder what/who it is (or even what/who they are). The house is from the 1920's. Before that it was an apple orchard and even a city dump. So, who knows what went on here before the house was built!
