Andy talks Jason and Grant into investigating a haunted lighthouse in Connecticut. Next the TAPS team goes to a New York museum to check out a possible haunting.
  • A Lighthouse and a Mueseum are investigated.

Not my favorite show. They spent way too much time on the lighthouse investigation talking about it rather than investigating it. I don't doubt Andy's enthusiasm for the lighthouse considering it was something that captured his interest as a teen but ghosts don't always perform on command or maybe wished not to interact at that moment.

The Mueseum part was just as bad. The tension in the team between Andy and Steve ruined it plus they weren't allowed to touch anything. The team's heart just didn't seem to be in it. I found this segment to be boring as well. There was something that saddened me though. Brian choosing not to return to TAPS.moreless
  • Not much paranormal going on, but a big dose of drama.

    7.0
    "Good"
With all that goes on during this episode, it's sometimes easy to forget that nothing paranormal is found at all, but it's easy to get distracted when the focus so much on the drama between cast members.

Of course it comes down to the opinions of those watching the show, and which people they think deserve the problems they get, but on this particular episode Andy was just asking for it, with the bad call on the lighthouse, and then not including Steve on the tour, and then childishly not fessing up to having an issue.. that whole bit of tension really took over the show, and I suppose depending on if you like the drama in Ghost Hunters or not, it would either greatly add or take away from the show.

For me the drama can get a bit much at times, but I really like Steve and feel he was justified in feeling a bit angry, so I was okay with watching his reaction.

Of course, the episode would be a lot better if they had actually found a bit of evidence, but like Andy said, there has to be some places they go that just aren't haunted.

Also, when they go to New York and that guy tries to steal equipment right beside them and Steve chases him down... that's just pure hilarity! I'm glad Steve had the guts to chase him down, because if he didn't, they would've lost that stuff.

While the lack of evidence and going-on's can cause the episode to feel a bit boring, the drama between cast members and the atmosphere of New York bring the show back up to an acceptable level, and round the episode out to be about average.moreless
  • Nothing...

    6.0
    "Fair"
Nothing really interesting in this episode paranormal wise. But a few tidbits here and there.

    1. Brian quiting.
I really didn't think Brian was going to quit but it seems he is pretty involved with a psycho girlfriend. Also it came out that Brian must have a SERIOUS lying problem and seems to lie about even the simplest things. Jason almost didn't want to shake Brian's hand when he left, sheesh! Wow, who is going to step up and be the whipping boy for Jason and Grant.

    2. Steve Vs. Andy
Here we go maybe Andy is going to be the new whipping boy. What seemed like a silly arguement between the two seemed to get out of hand and Andy really looked like a little crybaby. I also think that Grant and Jason were mad at him for not finding anything at the lighthouse... Hmmm, isn't it thier job to discredit hauntings scientifically?

    3. Some guy in New York while they were taping grabbed one of their suitcases of equipment. Steve did a good job chasing the guy and getting the suitcase back. The nerve of some people...

Anyway I look forward to the next episode Child Haunting / Sutcliff House where it looks like they are going to have some action. They can't have too many blah episodes in a row or they are going to start loosing their audience no matter how dedicated they are.moreless
