I agree that TAPS should show mattie more. Her abilities to be able to sense what humans are unable to can be a great benifit to there investigations. As of Episode 6, Grant anounced that he would be leaving TAPS. Watching the show from the begining, the TAPS investigators have done a wonderful job in bringing to light the paranormal. It, is a sad day to see Grant leave but, you do have to consider that he does have a family and traveling across the contury does put a strain on you and your family.

Just wanted to say first that what deems a person an expert in a field is not what someone does for a day job but the time spent and material read on that subject or endeavor. I have watched this show since the first episode and find it amusing. I like the cast and sometimes there are things seen. I remember the one episode that actually showed a man in a cellar in colonial period clothes. The only thing I did find gimmicky was the dog great idea but you rarely see Mattie, they should use her more. I also would like to see an episode where they spend three days. I think maybe ghosts like people could be shy to new members and might not present themselves right away.
I am also curious what's going to happen next week, there are polls going around that Grant is sick which i guess will find out next week.

I personally love the show and would like to know how I can submit a photograph to Ghost Hunters of a pregnant orb that was taken by my 11 year old daughter. If anyone knows please let me know. I would love for them to see it.

is this show for real this is so stupid its the stupidist show ever so basically these people go into haunted houses and its just a bunch of idiots running around in the dark with cameras. they probably flush the toilet and wet their pants, they probably turn the tv on and then crap their pants, they probably turn the lights off and $h!t their pants, they probably hear a dog bark and puke, they probably turn the lights on and $h!t in their pants. hahaha well thats my review for ghost hunters but its not long enough okay now its long enough.

Where to start? Well first, these guys are friggin' plumbers, so that makes them credible. At least they all have cool TAPS shirts. Their investigations are lazy. They shamble around, looking at stuff and calling out to spirits. The two chicks are there just for fluff. They don't seem to know how to investigate, hell, they couldn't even figure out a radio that turned on with a timer in one episode. The places these guys investigate are boring. The aforementioned radio fiasco took place in a house where they were going to investigate a rug that moves on its own. WhoooOOoOOOoOOo!



I can do without the people, I can do without the extra camera crew (Ghost Adventures, once again, no crew, all investigation, all kind of gritty), and ditch the stupid reality TV music for god's sake. I watched this because I'm totally digging Ghost Adventures lately, I was hoping I could get into some of the similar shows...but man, this show is just boring. Boring investigation, everyone sees a shadow while their Syfy camera crew remains locked on their faces, and the fist pounds at the end are just lame. You peeps need to watch a real ghost investigation show!

Before TAPS started fabricating evidence (i.e. the flying hanger, the fake collar pull, the fake EVPS) this was a decent show. They have given thier intelligent fan base a lobotomy recently by bowing to the producers demand for more ratings. The new trend is toward 'sensational' evidence at every place they visit. It is my opinion that this show is on its last legs as a paradyne shift has taken place with the arrival of shows such as Paranormal State and Ghost Adventures. Jason and Grant have traded thier integrity for a handfull of gold. To me, the show is simply inane now and has no connection whatsoever to 'real' paranormal investigations.

Sending plumbers to figure out life's ultimate questions armed with a couple of cameras and audio recorders is an insult to the scientists and philosophers that have delved into it for millennia.



What's worse yet is that they are afraid of their own shadows and willing to believe anything is a ghost. I am not a regular viewer, but my curiousity got the best of me a couple of times and I had to see why it was still on the air. There has got to be something better on TV.

I have watched every episode of Ghost Hunters since it has aired. Impressed with some episodes and bringing in other TAPS members from other places really showed that these guys are willing to give anything a try. That almost gave them a two thumbs up in my book. Until this season. Now I think the boys are doing what they can to keep the ratings up. I have caught a lot of bloops and lies this season and I am sure gonna be calling it quits on them. These are the kind of bloops that are enough to call these guys fakes. TAPS should be embarrassed to have these guys using their name on TV. Stick to the plumbing boys, cause I think maybe the plug on your show is going to be pulled soon!

My, oh my - how money changes everything!!



I just watched the opening series of the ghost hunters. As though it wasn't bad enough to see the show progress over the past several years (from innocent and somewhat believable) to what it has become – a money making machine for the macabre masses!! Stupid macabre fish in a black vortex barrel!! Shame on you all!



Jason has grown a gotee, is sporting a new diamond earring, black leather jacket and walking around as though he now OWNS Roto Rooter! Grant is as compliant as ever, waiting with bated breath for his every action/emotion/response to be approved by the monolithic Jason; nothing new there, except Grant is now is making a LOAD of cash for his side-kick compliancy. Maybe now he can go and buy the rights to Roto-Rooter, and if he has money left over (and based on the members area of this web site HE WILL – he can buy some manhood)!! Steve is back – alone - without his cohort in crime, Brian Harnois! Such a shame! It was such a sweet and lovely mix of brash enthusiasm meets the fear minion. Steve has now fully materlized into what I all ready knew but hoped wasn't true - a boring, run-of –the-mill hunter with no personality to speak about, or watch (– lest us not forget that this IS TV entertainment). Brian with his impetuous, unadulterated, likeable, and innocent child-like response to life's idiosyncrasies (albeit self-inflicted) versus Steve with his afraid of life, except for ghosts, attitude has come crashing into the ghostly (and ghastly world) of lame entertainment. Love him or hate him - Brian made the show. Now when the ghost hunters have nothing to show their client I can't say the show was worth watching. Why? Because the oil and water mix of the highly entertaining Steve and Brian is gone. There is now no one to get us excited about seeing a "ghost". There is no one to form the group into the 'right' way versus the 'wrong' way of Brian. Brian represented what we all experience in everyday life. Do I tell the boss (monolithic Jason) I goofed up? …Do I not tell the boss?...Do I lie? I don't care if people think that I am childlike – I am excited to see or hear something related to the apparitional world. He is the best and worst of what life on earth has to offer – I can only do what I can do at this given moment, and dammit, I am going into it FULLY. Oh – and what about these new women on the show? I am not talking about the average American woman with some extra pounds and down-to earth auras (Donna, Kristen, Heather) – but these cameo appearances of the young, wet-lipped full figured gals with the Barbie waistlines and revealing, scant tank tops? Jane Russell would be proud! Oh – and have you seen the Xtra footage of Donna and Jason on YOUTUBE? If I was married to Jason, I would have that bald head on a platter – that way – in the afterlife he would only have to worry about materializing his head!



Jason and Grant have managed to grow this ectoplasmic orb into a full apparition via your pocketbook! You can now buy Ghost hunter t-shirts, hats, car merchandise, baby apparel, and yes, pet apparel! But hey, why stop there? You can always rush to see one of them at a book signing, or a local appearance at your favorite ghost-friendly outlet. Will Casper (the friendly ghost) be there, too? He may be the only one actually worth meeting!

This show is so hollywood it should be on at the cinema!

These guys are absolute amatuers who spend most of their time Bichin with each other and talking nonsense rather than collecting hard evidence! They should look to "Most Haunted" for inspiration!

I cant believe this is touted as reality tv, its laughable, those guys in the show are always acting/showing off in front of the cameras, acting immature rather than being themselves and catching the action.

Heres a tip for the show people... Stop talking the whole time and just catch the action!

I think they are really stupid how they say some stuff they found is real and some stuff is fake every thing on that show is set up. Oh and they pretty much shoot all the shows in the same place and they shoot them riding on the highway in different places like in florida and clifornia and new york and different places like that. Then they will take like an hour out of the night and they shoot a couple scenes. Then they act like they are going threw the video tapes. Which why would they go threw serveral hours of video tape when they could pay someone else. Oh and I bet the owners of all these haunted places are fake. They probably just find an abandon house pay someone to shoot in it and pay someone else to be the owner. It is just so fake of a show.

People who believe in ghosts and liked the "Blair Witch" movie might like this movie. People who do not believe in ghosts and thought the Blair Witch movie was really bad will probably find this show equally excruciating to watch.



The premise of the series is that a few guys saw ghosts or UFOs at some point in their lives. Through the common bond of their shared paranormal experiences, they decided to form an investigative group called "TAPS".



Like the movie about the Blair Witch, they are constantly going "what's that" when they walk around in the dark. They are surprised to see shadows when using a flashlight in the dark.



Unless you are a true fan of this kind of show, do not even bother watching it.



If you want a more polished, really exciting, avowed fiction show - watch "Psi Factor: Chronicles of the Paranormal". It has a lot more going for it in every way.

This show is about a tech crew and nice people who travel to haunted places, to see if they come across anything paranormal. They study all of these places, to see if the building is really haunted and is visited by ghosts or specters. I would love to do that! I also am a fan of ghosts and haunted places. The guys have a lot of equipment and stuff to help them try and get any creepy footage and find ghostly activities. I've seen some of the places they go to and they do look real creepy and it looks to me that thye really are haunted. Certain places though they don't have much luck at finding or seeing anything paranormal or haunted going on, but thye have better luck at other places. I've heard they always catch some good stuff at The Stanley Hotel. This is a very fun show to watch and I always try to catch new episodes on the Sci-Fi channel. I love getting to see these haunted places and spotting anything out of the ordinary.

Jay and Grant are two believable researchers. They stay calm and try to debunk a situation before they jump to conclusions. I would enjoy the show more if they didn't have as much music in the back ground. The music sometimes interferes with sounds they are telling us they are hearing. It is to bad the camera crew does not catch the things the investgators are seeing. I think if the camera crew kept the camera focused on the surrounding area and less on the investigators the audience may see more of what the investigators are seeing. I'm not sure that the investigators would appriciate less camera exposure, but would be fun for the viewer, I for one, need to see more.

I am a huge fan of paranormal shows and out of all of the paranormal shows out there Ghost Hunters is one of the best. Jason and Grant are in charge of the team and they are both totally cool. I also like Steve who is in charge of the tech team. He's also a great investigator. My personal favorite episodes were the one at the Eastern State Prison and the one at the Stanley Hotel. Not all of the episodes are great because in some cases they really don't find anything. But on most of the episodes they do find either EVPs or video proof of the paranormal and I love that. This is a great paranormal show.

This show was a gamble that more than paid off. Regular people who, after they had their own experience, gathered the necessary equipment and manpower to research the paranormal unexpectedly became the modern-day last word in professional paranormal investigations.



Their continual search for the truth--more interested in debunking hauntings than in hyping them--have come up with some genuinely remarkable footage filmed under ideal conditions, with trained professionals and the public eye both on hand to witness the results. Their electronic voice phenonmena captures and multiple techniques of photography and video have yielded a tremenous amount of data, which they invite the world to analyze, and find their own answer.



Bravo. Simply the best.

I love the TAPS Team and their show, which is Ghost Hunters! I think they all do a great job at discovering more and more about para-normal activity and how there are after-life apparitions located at certain places, making them haunted. The best part is when something out of the ordinary happens while they are at the location with all the lights out! Its all creepy and cool at the same time! I love the places they visit, especially the Stanley Hotel! That place I hear's got a lot of ghosts that walk around enjoying their after-life, and also probably searching for unfinished business! So in conclusion I love watching Ghost Hunters, and I love it when the TAPS team go and investigate all of these cool places. It always makes me wonder what place they'll visit next! Either that or they can return to an old place to see if they get any new/different results! I definitely believe in ghosts and would love to meet the TAPS team someday.

I love this show and watch it every Wednesday. The show always shows you something new whether is technology or a hunt for some specter. The show is funny, the cast plays pranks on each other and I love how its all panned out. They are the ones to call if something is freaking you out. Doesn't matter if you believe in Ghost or not its entertaining and spooky to watch. When its late at night and the house is silent, turn the show on and scare yourself silly. Their live shows are even better and more entertaining. Awesome show to watch.

I have watched Ghost Hunters since it started and I have always enjoyed it and will continue to enjoy it until it ends. I watch other paranormal shows, check out other ghost hunting websites and I have found one thing in common with all of them, how do you know its for real? Just because someone says its real doesn't make it real and that goes for all of the "credible" ghost hunters out there. To say that one show is more credible than the other just doesn't work. Sure there have been times they have found something that could be easily explained, but what we don't see is the hours long investigations that they are really doing. We are just seeing the cut and edited version.



You can sit and pick apart a single episode of Ghost Hunters and say, yeah they staged that! But, I tend to go on my beliefs that Jay and Grant wouldn't sell out their integrity for ratings. I have looked over a lot of photo's that people claim are the paranormal and most can be discounted as piss poor photography, but you try and explain that to the photographer..



There was a comment about GH being a plug for RR, so what! If it pays the bills then great.



Ghost Hunters is entertainment, that's it and it one of the more entertaining hours on TV in my own opinion!

Plumbers turned ghostbusters, they need to keep their day jobs. To me it is a shameless plug for roto rooter. If I heard about being a plumber for them one more time I was going to start screaming sham but my kids love it and I didn't want to get on expletive filled rant about the shameless plugs and all knowing authority after all I am sure they minored in ghostbusting after majoring in plumbing and butt crack showing. This good entertainment for the mindless and the gullible or kids who just want to get a little scare in them.

Ghost Hunters was a good..once. The disasterous Halloween 08 show, where they were caught faking evidence, was the last straw for me. I watched the subsequent two shows and it was quite apparent that they has forsaken thier integrity for ratings as they continues the outrageous fakery. I have not watched them since 08 and I do not miss them. I am surprized, however, that they are still on the air after getting caught on live television faking evidence. But, who can blame them? Thier ship has come in and they want what we all want...money. I might be inclined to fake evidence, too if it buys me a Bed & Breakfast in Vermont.

I'm not sure how much is real and how much is showmanship but I do like most of the team. Frankly, I can't think of anyone that has left the show that I've missed (except Dusty) and I was glad to see some of them go (Brian the liar and Andy the condescending jerk). There seems to be tone of truthfulness within the team which is appreciated. Not every little "bump" and "boo" is considered paranormal. Non-believers won't be swayed by any evidence, no matter what the evidence might be, simply because it is a TV "show" and it would be all too easy to "fake it". The longer the show goes on the more criticism they will endure. That being said, they've given me chills a few times. Purely for the entertainment value, it's worth watching.

i love your show its keeps me on my toes lol i usually watch every episode u guys have but lately i havent been staying up for them. you're my favorite show on t.v. and i would love to know how you guys keep up with everything? does the show take away for your family time? and how do all you guys keep up with both your jobs i can barely keep up with my pregnancy :) what place did you guys feel like it was your best experience while the show has been going on?well i think thats it for me. thank you :)

you leave me wanting more, and to investigate with all of you would be exciding. and a great experience to leave with I just hope you won't ever stop investigating alot more places to come, I will keep watching. and not only that all the men are so hot. My experience was quite scary the first time was a black figure that would watch me show I seen him standing in the doorway so I learned to keep my eyes open in the show and when I would vacuume the hairs on my stood up on end and I had that feeling someone was watching me, then in another home a little boy who would play hide in seek which didn't scare me I would play with him.

I'd have to say it's a good show, It's boring when they get no evidence, but at least they try to find a logical explanation. The cast seems down to earth which is good because it makes them see more trustworthy. Interesting locations like Eastern State and others. I believe in ghosts but not that there are Demons or unhuman ghost and they do not give that crap like shows like Paranormal State, which made me laugh that they believe in unhuman ghost, and A Haunting, which makes me question the fact that there are even ghost because of the horrible acting and fake stories. Ghost Hunters are the most logistic ghost hunters ever. for skeptics, why do people watch shows like this? They want to believe that there is stuff like this or they want a scare. Stop ruining it for others by saying it's fake.

first of all i would like to say i have always been a big fan of the show.i thought you all were the real thing until i watched the winery in new york ! 34 minutes in that episode you see jason hit a shelf with something in his hand. wow i was shocked !!!!! there have been times when brian has done stuff like that but i never thought jason or grant would. the way i look at it is you all i guess will do anything to make money .grant if your smart go start your own show and keep it real

"TAPS-LA" (The Atlantic Paranormal Society Of Los Angels) should be in Downtown LA, South California. It would be nice if there is a "TAPS-LA" (The Atlantic Paranormal Society Of Los Angels).

It be helpful & wonderful to have a Ghost Hunters Team in Southern California.
