    In case anyone missed it...

Last Friday, July 24, Conan and Andy visited the studios at Bang Zoom! Entertainment and tried their hand at voice acting. Towards the end of the skit, they dubbed selected scenes of the original "Ghost in the Shell" movie. The skit is posted on NBC's site at:

Hearing Andy doing Batou was strange, but the bit about the fish is funny.

Yeah, I like how they had to cut away from the diplomat exploding from that shell fired into him. Even on late night you can't show that. Yeesh!

I actually thought that ZRO Limit did the dub. They worked on the SAC dub. Wonder if ZRO Limit and Bang Zoom! are one and the same.

On the front page to the guide they put up video for the 1995 movie. Too bad it doesn't really relate to SAC.

Maybe they're re-dubbing it? According to the page on ANN, Manga Entertainment is responsible for the production, and Animaze is doing the recording. Animaze also did the recording for SAC, so there is a slight connection (in a Seven-degrees-of-separation type of way).

With the current climate of anime, maybe ZRO Limit and Bang Zoom! merged together to share resources? Or maybe they just work together. They seem to share some common projects.

They also blurred her nudity -- which may have been easier then trying to hide someone's head being blown off.
