With both the Dejima Bridge and their link to the outside destroyed, the refugees begin to realize the severity of their situation. Trying to reunite them, Kuze plans a mission that will allow the refugees to reconnect with their "leader". Heading towards Dejima, what remains of Section 9 prepare to bring in the plutonium that they will eventually hand off to the United Nations nuclear inspection team. It won't be easy to infiltrate Dejima unscathed. Jigabachi helicopters patrol the skies and a strike force is close behind Section 9.moreless

aw man! this is getting good! I can't even predict whats going to happen next! The one thing that was kind of funny in this episode was they didn't filter out the swearing in this episode. Still I wonder if the Major is going to get to Kuze in time...

- The aerial shot of where section 9's chopper crashed near the Dejima memorial is reminiscent to Ridley Scott's 2001 film Black Hawk Down.
  
  In the movie, there are plenty of aerial views detailing the American forces' location in the Battle of Mogadishu. A large urban area with an open square in the middle is the location of the crashed chopper. In the 2nd Gig episode, the location of the crashed chopper of section 9 is eerily similar.
