Who was the Episode MVP ?

  • Wow, this had to be THE most poorly written episode of the show I've ever seen.

From the step mother & son plot line to the father & daughter plot line, complete dreck and absolutely predictable. Even the exchanges between Mel & Delia were HORRID! Come on guys, a little imagination and creativity would be nice. Or do you really expect us to believe Melinda is just THAT stupid? That after all these years and all these ghosts, she's so utterly clueless and not able to put basic clues together? Sheesh. I sure hope the writer's strike is allowing ya'll to create some good stuff in your heads, ready to be scripted & produced when ya'll return because this was just pathetic, guys. Not even the actors themselves could salvage this episode. As talented as they are, they were given useless pages to work with. Such a shame.moreless
  • Delia sells a home that is haunted to some friends who just lost a loved one.

Delia sells a home that is haunted to some friends who just lost a loved one. The home is actually haunted by a couple who killed mutally and then died themselves. They like to take any new owners and turn them against each other. By chance this is what happens to Delia's friends. There is some tension between Delia and Mel about ghosts. That is about the most exciting part of this episode. Finally the new owners make up with their dead loved one and she crosses over. The owner blows up the house to keep anyone from being victimized by the ghosts again. Good show but only fluff. Let's get to the real meat of this season!moreless
  • not bad but could be better

    Entertaining one.

Apparently houses can be haunted lol

A new family moved to a house outside Grand View and that house as had a lot of owners.

This family has a rough past, the mother died some time before.

When Melinda and Delia go there, Melinda sees a ghost in the garage but this in not the only one.

There is a confrontation between Melinda and Delia. Delia doesn't believe in ghost, in the supernatural.

She can be bad to Melinda.

The difference in this one from the other is that there are three ghosts, the mother and two other that died in the house.

That girl screams a lot! lol

At the end, Melinda crosses over the mother, Liz and they move out.

The best part is when the father blows up the house and the other two ghost stay there, sitting in the couch.

    They are pathetic.moreless

Good episode I like that the creep factor was back and I liked this new type of malevolent ghost. The ghost in this episode were totally set on destroying lives. In life they were a wife and step-son who killed the son's father so they could be together and ended up killing each other. Well as they lived they lived on in death causing the same horror that they did in life. Almost making a father and daughter murder each other and Melinda along with them. Another big factor was how skeptical Delia is. I thought she was a sold out believer after last season but to my surprise she needs to be convinced. Good episode didn't cover any new ground but fun none the less.moreless
  • A haunted house that really is haunted.

A house comes with a pair of ghosts that like to play mean games with people who move in there. This round is a father and daughter who just lost a mother/wife. The wife for some reason didn't cross but can't enter the house and resides in the garage. The games the ghosts play get meaner and meaner while Mel tries to figure out what is really going on. Finally the games become so mean that the father is hurt and rushed to the hospital. Mel takes the father and daughter to the mother to help them with their guilt and mom crosses over. The father blows the house up leaving the pair of ghosts on a sofa saying more people would come but there was no house left for people to go to! It was a good show.moreless

    • Professor Payne: You said the ghosts are treating it like it's some sort of game.
Melinda: Yeah like it's a contest.
Professor Payne: So what is it, the newly-dead game?

    • Delia: It's just that– I mean, there's always a damn ghost everywhere you go. What is that?!
Melinda: Okay, I wish they weren't always there, too, believe me. But it's not like I go out looking for them.
      Delia: Don't you?

    • (The ghosts of Vivian and Mathew Seembrook are sitting in the burnt down house plotting against the next owners)
Vivian Sembrook: What will we do till then?
      Mathew Sembrook: Play a game?
      Vivian: 20 question?
      (answers gleefully)
Mathew: Oh good I have a good one for you.

    • Melinda: What are you doing?
Professor Payne: Oh, I'm, uh, I'm trying a radical new technique to my class lectures.

    • Payne: Delia goes over to the house and finds herself in the middle of "Who's afraid of Virginia Woolf?"

"Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?" is a play by Edward Albee that opened on Broadway at the Billy Rose Theater on October 13, 1962.
Later, in 1966, it was adapted into a movie with the same name.
