Professor Payne: So what is it, the newly-dead game? Payne alludes to the American TV game show, The Newlywed Game, where newly-married couples answered questions about each other. The show from 1966 to 2000.
Payne: Delia goes over to the house and finds herself in the middle of "Who's afraid of Virginia Woolf?" "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?" is a play by Edward Albee that opened on Broadway at the Billy Rose Theater on October 13, 1962. Later, in 1966, it was adapted into a movie with the same name.
