Ghost Whisperer

Todd: I messed up so bad. We've been a couple since high school and I guess everyone thought, me included, that would never change. Melinda: And Sherry thought differently? Todd: Well, she must have because she left. But you never would've known it. All she did since we got out of school was to bug me to marry her. Every time she'd ask, I'd say 'Sure. Yeah. Sounds great. But you know, let's wait 'til all our ducks are in the same row'. Eli: What ducks were those? Todd: Well, you know, like me. Melinda: You? Todd: I mean come on. Marriage is for grownups. For people who get out of bed in the morning and take a lot of showers. For people who balance their checkbooks and know how to, you know, use their stoves. And it's like I don't shower. I do, but not if I don't really need to. And I guess I thought getting married is like showering- why do it if you don't really need to.
