  • Good, but not sensational.

This was an interesting episode of Ghost Whisperer, but not a very special one. It was quite interesting, and I thought the storyline was quite good, but it isn't exactly one of the best episodes I have seen.

I thought the ghost in this case was a nice change, instead of a psychopath who wants to achieve nothing but destruction, so a good change.

I also thought the episode was quite original, and for that reason, it was very good.

I would recommend this episode, as it is quite interesting, but I would definitely add that there are much better episodes, and I would prefer those over this, even though this is decent.
  • Another GReaT Episode...

That little kid in the hospital was very cute even though he is dead.

The One with the bullet in his head was scary...

No wonder Melinda got scared when she went to the bathroom... Seeing yourself like that it scary.

We see strange things happening at Melinda's store once again and the most difficult thing is that she is keeping hiding everything inside when she is at the shop as she did not speak to Delia regarding what she can do.

Delia's son is cute and he is very understanding to what Melinda can do.

Jim is fantastic as always.. Understanding and Supportive.

Again we see Melinda having bery strange visions.. Scary ones this time. She was very scared and she started to scream as well.

We can see how much Melinda was scared when she was speaking to Jim.. again we see another strange vision.

Can the Professor help? The Professor is a bit of a weird man but I think he really likes helping Melinda.

Ned was going to give a way his father's things away without thinking of how his mother felt. He did it on purpose because he does not like his mother sad...

Another mystery in the lift. Those visions are very strange as they are done on purpose to scare Melinda. What is the purpose?

Who is that person in the hospital? He is protected by a bodyguard, Melinda could not get in because of him. We can see that the ghost was there next to his body. Hugh Bristow is the spirit who is brain dead and there is a court case about if he lives or dies.

Bob is such a cutie... Everyone loves that dog :)

Bristow wants Melinda to help his parents. Now Bristow's wife is just crazy, hitting on Melinda's car like that. She wants her husband to die as he told her tha he does not want to stay on life support.

Ned and Delia really need to talk and that is what happened in the shop. I think it was a very well needed conversation between them. They need to understnad each other and stick together.

Hugh parents love him to pieces and they think that his wife just married him for his money. What did his wife do? We see that Hugh's wife was right he does not want to live anymore not like that. When he died, he was brought back but that is not what he wanted.

He was sick... No wonder he did no want to come back. We see an explanation to his sickness.

We see them all together in the hospital and we learn how he went into the seizure. His mum wants him to stay but he wants to let go and that is hat he did as he wanted to move on. A family united by their son's death. We see him free next to the hospital thanking Melinda for her help and the he went into the light. Death of a loved one? What is going to happen?
  • Latin phrase appeared on Jim's back.

    "Poor"
The writing for this series is slipping. Latin used was completed botched. Even the character paused when asked what it meant, puffing himself up with his professor's title (like, who cares?) before completely flubbing the transliteration. Even when he corrected himself with "death of a loved one" this is still not correct. Mors dilecti [dilecto] is, transliterally, death of fault. This, in context of the episode, would have made sense given that it was later discovered that the character's mother had accidentally given her son the wrong medication and that his death was essentially accidental as opposed to being deliberate - eg. a "fault"

Death of a loved one would have been "mors carus".

    Get it right, writers.
  • Nothing great but the usual storyline

    7.5
    "Good"
Not their best episode. But at least they tried to do something different. Though it's not as interesting as expected but as usual they did tried to make the ending part a bit mysterious for the audience to think what will happened..

Just hope that Melinda won't be losing someone important again.
  • Wow. It was not may favorite episode but it was still touching

That was a very sweet episode. The "gold-digging" wife turns out to really love her husband. I thought it was really romantic and sweet. I could totally believe that but what I didn't believe is that his parents thought that she was trying to kill her husband and steal his money. That seemed a little too much jumping to a weird conclusion. Anyway, the coma victim wanted to die and not hang around in a state that was too horrific for him and causes nothing but to himself, his family, his wife and (from what I can tell) other people at the hospital. It was sweet how he wanted his parents and his wife to be a family. You can't help but love Ghostwhisperer for all it teaches and stands for.
  • Not good but not bad!

This is reminscent of the Terri Scahvo case back in 2005

With a man's parents who are fighting his wife

On whether to pull the plug or not as Melinda is

Caught in between like she always is. Meanwhile, Delia and Ned try to find closure which maybe more harder than they think. Good show! Not a great one but good.
  • A very good episode.

This episode brought the show back onto the air perfectly. I was very impressed with the way that they delt with the coma issue and the family interaction around it. I like that Doctor Payne is featuring that bit more, I think that it is good for Melinda to have shared her secret with someone, hopefully she will stop feeling so alone now that she has someone who is willing to help. I thought that the Delia and Ned storyline added that bit more to the episode. Delia is obviously still missing her husband so much and it was nice to see Ned trying to help, even if it was in such a back handed way.
  • Touching, Thoughtful! A very special episode..

Excellent episode. It delt very thoughtfully with the whole coma issue. Melinda helping was really only a small part of the story. How families interact during such a time is what is interesting and obviously sad here.

I also like the underlying issue of Delia and he lost husband. Showing that although grief stays with us, it does change and become manageable with time and healing through friends and family.

The ending was again excellent, leaving us in suspense of what will happen next, hope Jim survives!
  • Gripping, heart-wrenching, edge-of-your-seat.

This episode was hard for me to watch. I\\\'ve come to identify with Melinda and I find it hard to see her in such a hard place as she was the end of this episode. To know in her heart that there is a chance she\\\'ll lose her husband and confidant, must be horrible. However, I can see from the writers\\\' perspective it working well toward her finally confiding in Delia the way she did with Andrea. I think they\\\'ve been working toward this end for quite a while, given the references to the dead dove, the dripping blood, etc.

I think that the writers did a fantastic job paralleling it to the very publicized case with the FL wife last year. I don\\\'t think names need be mentioned, nor will I go into my opinion of how I think THAT went.

Hoping for the best but expecting the worst here. KEEP JIM! Bump off Melinda\\\'s mom instead! (oops did I say that out loud?)
  • Reflection, Character, Friendship

This was such a fantastic eppy, as it really mirrored and reflected the agony and grief families go through, as well as the conflict ... when trying to determine if a loved one should stay on life support or not. I think that the family members, while appearing selfish and self satisfied with their decision, really showed character in the end of the show, easing up on their animosity and embracing the inevitable. That's a difficult thing to do for even the most selfless person. It made for a wonderful character contrast. At the end of the episode, we see the 'Ghost' noticing that his parents, and his wife are trying to forge a friendship which allows him to pass on. It's such a heartwarming story. I love the fact that at the end, Melinda's just hanging out ... she doesn't have to tell the family that the Ghost is gone ... she just leaves them to make peace. Kind of a new twist there. I know a lot of people find this show repetitious, redundant whatnot. I agree it is. But I love the characters. Of course we're going to get a new ghost every week, just like there's a new murder every week on CSI, regardless, it's good programming. I give it a solid 10!!!!
  • Someone Close To You Will Die...

WOW another winner IMO. Ghost Whisperer even when you have your doubts about it\'s episodes it always comes back up from it\'s fall and completely surpises you. The episode tonight was dramactic like always, chilling and little pieces of humor that it\'s outragesly funny but a chuckly or two.

Melinda and Ghost of the Week - The dream like thing of when Melinda saw herself dieing was so cool. Melinda\'s spirit looked so worn out and just looked so miserable. May I say Jennifer can still scream. Anyways the plot of the Ghost started out pretty weekly but as the visions got clearer the plot got alot better. I really love these episodes of Melinda helping these ghost that actually have something meaningful to do unlike the Baseball Ghost or the Cat\'s Claw Ghost.

Delia and Ned - This has to be the second best storyline envoling the two. They act off of each other so well you really do feel like you are watching a mother and son fight about their dead father. I just love when a mother talks to their kid instead of just doing what they want to do.

Chilliness - I totally love the ending it made my hair on the back of my neck so stand up. When Payne said that it would be a death of someone close to her and Melinda turned to Jim in the shower it made me so sad to think that what happened last season with Andrea could happen all other again with Jim.

Next Week - Envoles reincarnation so it should be really good to see what Melinda will have to do to stop it from repeating.
