That's all I have to say about this episode. It tries to convey some type of "special" emotion but just made me want to stop watching already!

Melinda must help this very rich hard-working mom because her dead son is haunting the new nanny, who is not HIS old nanny. The very busy-working mom never paid any attention to her son and he wants to tell her he loves her. Whatever, this episode is so full of jargon the end kind of made me sick.

Sounds a little harsh, but I mean: come on! This show is better than that!

    Just a filler episode...
  • I very sad episode.

On this episode of Ghost Whisper titled Demon Child was a very sad episode.

This episode is about a boy named Daniel which Died in a car accident. This though in a very sad conclusion is due to the accident was his fault. The part is that what puts the story is that Daniel was withnessed by his nanny at the time which he said his final words, and now he wants the Nanny with help of Milienda to tell Daniels mom his final words.

Here is where it gets interesing. Daniels final words where to his Nanny at the time where "I Wish You Where My Mother". OK that part is done but here comes the really sad part is when Daniel goes back to when he was last alive. It was about on how what kind of life his parents where living with the money but not being around him. She promised she would spend sometime with him. This is how the tragity happens. Daniel was lied to and ignored. Out of anger he steals his mothers car and while pulling out is slamed by a car as he was pulling out and dies.

The sad point of the story which I did't tell in the beginning is that what I thought was Daniel haunting the baby is him protecting it. Daniel wanted his mom to protect the new baby by spending more time with her. This was a very sad episode.
  • Poltergeisting all over the place

Give "Demon Child" credit for lots of poltergeist spunkiness, as a young boy's spirit appears to have it in for his mom and her infant daughter. I figured out what was going on in about 10 minutes, but I will leave it to you to dope it out for yourself. The kid playing the mischievous apparition is quite believable, and a lot of roughhousing goes on in this episode, including people getting knocked downstairs and the baby girl momentarily "disappearing" from her crib. The ending is one of the biggest tearjerkers this show has come up with, so be prepared with the facial tissue. Lori Laughlin, formerly of "Full House", is the harried and harassed mom.
  • Has a really good moral.

Melinda has a seller who is selling her most of her furniture in the house to be sold in the antique shop. Melinda grows interested in why Christine would want to move, a great house and nice furniture isn't really something most people would run away from. Melinda plays P.I. in this episode and finds out that the house i being haunted by Christine's son who died about a year ago. The kid is what most people would call a "Demon Child." The boy was never really close to his parents as a kid. His parents worked all the time, and one day he got into an accident, which caused his parents to get a divorce. Like most people in grief, Christine found someone to blame, and that someone was the boy's old nanny. All the boy wants is for his mother to pay for attention to this babby sister and for his old nanny to have a better reputation and start helping kids again. That's what finally made him cross over.

I liked this episode because it had a good moral to all the parents who work hard all the time, and don't pay much attention to their children. The same parents who let the nannys do all the work with the children. Overall, good episode.
  • Never forget what you have promised

This episode was scary. The way toys started to play by them selfs and things went on and of just like that.

In several epsiodes we saw the ghost getting more powerful and this was no exeption. The boy looked a bit scary too with his dark eyes.

Halfway down the episode I started to wonder how this episode would end. Jessies nanny felt down the stairs and in the beginning, I thought Daniel was after her.

I turned out to be wrong, because he was after his own nanny who was there the day he died. Instead of hurting her, he just wanted to talk with her and his mom about the sad things that happened the day he died in a car accident. That accident happened when he ran out the door, mad because his mom didn't remember the promiss she made.

Ofcourse his mom and his old nanny understood everything and things were solved out so Daniel could cross over.

This was a great episode, I just wonder if there ever comes a time Melinda can't help a ghost.....

Was this episode created to send a warning to parents or the writer just thought it was a good concept?

The show kept you on edge just through the commercial break where the boy said that his nanny watched him die........but she was the only one that cared when his parents were too busy.

Overall, the episode was basically done to have Mel and Jim play with a kid.

This episode was flipin' awsome!!I loved it!That would be awful having a workaholic mother. It was alful how the mother had no time for Danel.I was creeped out when he haundted the babysitter befour she fell down the stairs. That was really sad when he crashed and told the former nanny that he wanted her to be his mom.I think it would be awsome if Melida had a baby.It was awsome how they talked about it.Okay and at the end that ghost came in he looked very mad.I wonder whats going t happeh with him.Well this episode was very good and it is my favorite. Can't wait tell next week!

I love this show and I like the scary direction they are taking it. That dream sequence completely freaked me out, but it was well done. Somehow they manage to get great guest actors (the boy from the Ring movies and the woman from Six Feet Under, cool!) and the writing is always really strong, this episode being not exception. I truly look forward to it each week, even though it can be cheesy with the crossing over at the end. I also really like and believe the relationship between Melinda and her husband. I always think this, but this may be my favorite ep. yet!
  • Wow this has to be the Darkest Episode yet!

I truly think if the rest of the season is going to be like this I will be very pleased, dark, scary and just a pleasure to watch (in a weird way!) I really enjoyed this episode, much darker than previous episodes, I am still a bit confused about the previous episodes Dark man or whatever he is, he appeared 3 times and now the old persons home guy looks mad as hell too, Roll on the terror, I will be watching for the next installment.
  • Jim gets clucky and Melinda is hesitant....(spoilers)

This episode see's melinda come accross a young ghost whos mother never had time for him when he is alive. On the surface it seems the ghost wants to harm his living baby sister but as the story develops a underlying story emerges where he is simply trying to scare of the nanny's in order to force his mother to take care of the baby unlike she did for him.

After Jim was asked to look after the baby for a short period he gets the clucky feeling and puts pressure on melinda for starting a family, melinda is uncomfortable with the idea of being a mum although she definately likes babies. The thought of giving birth to a baby who has the "gift" makes her think back to her childhood and the problems she encountered with her early life and mother.

Interesting character development over all and sets the seen for domestic disharmony over the next episodes.

  • Finally a new episode, and it does not disappoint.

Melinda helps the ghost of a very angry boy (Daniel) who is haunting his mother. Daniel’s mother is a workaholic who ignored him while he was alive, and now looks set to do the same for her new baby. Daniel torments and frightens away nannies, and anyone else who looks after his sister, in an attempt to get his mother to pay more attention to her. He’s angry, and doesn’t want her to make the same mistakes all over again.

On the home front, Jim and Melinda discuss the issue of children. Jim wants to have them soon, but Melinda is reluctant on account of the fact any child she has might have the gift. This certainly is a valid fear. I wonder if the writers are paving the way for domestic troubles on this issue. Don’t get me wrong, I love seeing a happily married couple on TV but it would be nice to see a bit of trouble in blissville. No marriage is that perfect.

This show never fails to bring a tear to my eye, and this episode was no exception. I marvel at the quality of child actors that they have on this show. They’re so believable and amazing that one cannot help but be moved by their performances (and on occasion creeped out). An excellent instalment for a wonderful show.

This was a pretty good episode not as good as some of the others maybe it's because it just got back from along break lol but still I liked it. The baby throwing up that goo was nasty lol and great job to the baby on that part lol and also the eyes where just freaky. I also really loved Melinda with the baby she was so much like a mother sing, rocking doing the whole motherly thing was just perfect and really shows how she would take care of her baby even if she has to deal with Ghost. All and all a very good character developing episode for Melinda and Jim's relationship.
