Melinda: His toys came alive.
Andrea: I'm assuming not in a cute Pixar Toy Story kind of way?
-
Daniel (to Christine): What good is this good life? What good is it if I never see you?
-
Daniel: (to Melinda) Tell her she couldn't have stopped me. It wasn't her job, not that day.
-
Daniel: I never meant for her to get blamed. She was the only person that took care of me.
-
Dead Guy: (to Melinda) Oh! The kid gets your attention. What am I, wood?
-
Jim: Snug as a bug in a rug.
(Melinda stares at him)
Jim: Something my mom taught me.
-
Jim: Oh No!
Melinda: What's wrong?
Jim: She woke up. I just got slimed.
-
Melinda: The baby's ok?
Jim: Yeah... She stopped crying. I gave her a crossword puzzle, it seemed to do something.
Melinda: Just one more woman that finds you irresistible.
-
Georgina:(to Melinda) It was divorce by Fedex I think.
-
Melinda: She seems so good-natured.
Georgina: Most of the time, yes. But she can howl like a banshee when she wants something.
-
Andrea: (to Melinda) Stay away from the nanny, cause that chick's a little off.
-
Georgina: Don't tell Christine that you saw the nanny smoking.
Andrea: Promise I won't.
-
Georgina: Do I look like an antique to you?
Andrea: No.
Georgina: Well... you picked the wrong door.
-
Melinda: Jim?
(walks into the living room and sees a sleeping Jim)
Melinda (in a disappointed voice): Let the romance begin...
-
Christine: Melinda, are you comfortable watching a baby?
Melinda: Hey, I bought a car off the baby-sitting money I made in high school.
Christine: I guess that means yes.
-
(referring to having a baby together)
Jim: Your heart tells you when you're ready, not your bank account.
Melinda: I'm just not there yet.
-
Daniel: I'm not going!
Melinda: You're just hurting yourself and everyone around you. Is that what you really want?
Daniel: I'm not leaving until I find her.
Melinda: Who?
Daniel: Suzanne.
Melinda: Who is she?
Daniel: My nanny before.
Melinda: Is she special to you?
Daniel: Special? She watched me die.
-
Daniel: I grew up with nothing too. I just had a lot of stuff.
-
Jim: I'll be happy to have a whole brood of baby ghost busters.
