  • i love how mel & jim are willing to support each other..

    9.7
    "Superb"
this episode has the usual ghost whisperer formula.. melinda met a spirit, she finds the spirit's loved ones, then she will give them closure, so the spirit will finally go into the light.. but the way that the ghost only appear in photographs was somewhat unusual...

what i loved the most was the issues discussed by mel & jim.. i was really shocked with jim's decision on being a doctor.. the scene where mel said that she'll be with jim was so sweet... i hope there will be more scenes like that..

i hope the writers are planning something really good... i hope it will make the ratings higher, so gw won't be cancelled.. :)
  • This episode was pretty amazing. There were lots of Jim and Mel moments so that was good. YAY for Payne he gots a lover finally! Great episode!

I loved this episode especialy since there were lots of Jim and Mel moments that was good. It's kinda funny cause we all thought Jim wasn't going to be in this episode much and he was in most of the scenes. I was SOOOOOOOOO happy for Payne especially at the end with the pictures of Claudia and the whole "a picture means a thousand words" thng was so sweet. Heehee now Mel has two professors that she can go see if she needs help lol. OMG I loved how Mel was so supporting with Jim at the end the whole map thing that was sweet i thought it was so sweet how she said that she would support Jim no matter what happened or where he went for his med school. AWWWWWWWW!!!!!!OMG i cannot wait for the next episode yay!!!!!*stoked*
  • Jim and Melinda experience marital difficulties. Ghost appears in pictures and freaks out a professor. Boooooring.

Okay. I asked for difficulties between Mel and Jim. They did what I asked (like they listen to me, right?). I liked their choice of tension. It was a realistic trust-or-not scenario for Jim. Melinda played right into the med school surprise. It all worked out, fine. My beef wasn't with the story line, it's with the acting. Mel played Mel-odrama and Jim was just flat. This episode makes me wonder if my previous assessment of David Conrad was false. I think they could have done something great, here, but instead it was boring. I only liked the scene when Jim challenged the ER doc's assessment of a patient as a heart attack. He couldn't be forceful, but it was obvious he wanted to be. That was the only good acting for Conrad in the episode.

The ghost was unique in its presentation, but otherwise not terribly interesting. The affair with her student was obvious (although, I liked the revelation, using the individual sheets of photographic paper...that was cool...). The ending was...well...bad. Not mediocre. Not poor. Let's get the mistress together with girlfriend, and everyone will be happy. Nope. That was just bad. They could have cut some of the beginning and used a little more film to make the ending good.

Yes, I'm happy that the professor is going to get a date. I wonder if his wife will come back and spook him, for it...doubt it, but...it would be interesting...

I had forgotten that Ghost Whisperer could be good without being scary. This was likened to a first season episode where it was all about closure for the ghost. The haunts weren't even that scary like earlier episode meant more to show the ghost was around than to intimidate. Thankfully Payne has a love interest which will take some of the pressure of the Melinda Payne ship that's going around. Jim's position has been solidified thankfully after some talk of getting rid of him. I still don't agree with the need for a final scene in which Melinda sees herself surrounded by ghost but other than that a solid episode.
  • Payne's love interst won't show up in pictures and it soon becomes apparent to Mel and Co. that she is being haunted by the ghost of ne of her past students. What could this mean?!

Ehh...this episdoe was ok. Part of what made it weaker for me was it was pretty hard to understand what was going on. Still it was susepensful and good as I really can't say anything specifly bad about it. The whole "Oh my gosh she doesn't show up in pictures!" thing kept me guessing and I couldn't figure it out for the life of me! So, that was a strong point.

Another strong point was the chilling suiside video. Wow, who does that?! It was effective for sure, even if it could tottaly never happen. (we all know cell phones can't work underwater... There's no reception down there! Silly writers!) Just kidding guys! ;)

Also, Mel and Jim had their first on screen (and probably first ever..) fight! What a surprize! I kinda liked it though as it brought some realness to the show. I have thought for a long time now that their mariage was "too perfect". People have fights, thats just the way it is and keeps thing intresting on tv. Thats not to say that I want Mel and Jim to run off to have affairs, just not get along all the time. And if it helps, I did think the fight was pretty fake...
  • Payne's new date doesn't show up in photos so he's convinced he's been dumped by a ghost!

This wasn't the best episode of the season but it sure was funny at least at the beginning. Payne thinks he has been dumped by a ghost because his date doesn't show up in pictures. And she freaked out when someone pointed a camera at her. Payne rushes right over to Melinda's and Jim's who are trying to have some romantic fun and he just barges right in! I laughed and laughed. It's found out that a girl whose boyfriend was cheating on her with the Payne's date left a video suicide for her boyfriend. But she really didn't die. But the boyfriend does! It was a wild and twisted episode.
  • Interesting episode..

This episode was tricky- it constantly led me to believe one thing and then it showed that the truth was another. I liked the storyline- that it was less scary and more about closure for the ghost. Although parts of it- the camera recording underwater and sending was unrealistic- they were small enough to be ignored. As well, the girl who played Sophie was also in an episode of Bones on Tuesday and on House the week before! I watched both those episodes and recognized her immediately. Although I liked the episode, it saddened me. All the characters just weren't in sync- Sophie didn't know that Kevin wasn't seeing his profeser any more and Kevin thought she was dead so he ended up dying in his haste to get there. Altogether a good episode, not one of the very best, but still good.
  • OMG I loved this episode!!

This episode was really good!! I loved the storyline about Melinda and Jim even though they fought but no matter how great they are they have to have a fight otherwise it would be just to fake. I really liked at the end were Melinda and Jim made up it was so cute!! The ghost storyline was also really great and I also loved it!! :) I am glad that Payne is finally dating again and that leaves me with a little less worry about Melinda and Payne dating even though Mel and Jim are so in love it still could happen.
  • A love triangle story.

Well it was an interesting episode to watch, though it wasn't my favourite storyline. I don't think that I like the idea of Melinda and Jim moving away from Grandview, but I'm sure that the writers will think of something cool. The love triangle between Kevin, Sofi and Claudia was cleverly plotted. I was realy shocked when it was revealed that Sofi is alive and Kevin is somehow using her image after death. The scene in Claudia's red photo room reminded me of The Grudge 2. And the end of the episode was also very shocking, because we now know that there are many dark spirits attached to Melinda.
  • Quite an intense one.!

This was an amazing episode of Ghost Whisprer and I absolutely loved it. I recenlty heard of this show's cancellation, which is very disappointing, but back onto this particular episode, it was certainly a very interesting one.

The idea of the love triangle was obviously very cliche, but I still enjoyed the episode, as they made it so interesting.

I loved the moment where Sophie said, "Do I know you?" and Melinda said, "Yeah. I saw you die!" That was truly hilarious, and I was laughing a lot!

Definitely an episode I would highly recommend. This is a great show, and I thikn this is a very underrated episode. Keep it up Ghost Whisperer, and I can't wait to see some more episodes!
  • basically jim wants to go to medical school and professor payne is going to date again. melinda solves a case between the girl professor payne "girlfrien" and one of her deceased students girlfriend

it was alright it wasnt as creepy as usual and honestly love the tv show ghost whisperers but it was flat out boring compared to last weeks. but it makes me wonder are they going to end the show because when they said jim might go to medical school anyware and melinda would follow him any way i would be bummed if they ended it so we will see. nothing seems to bve happening with her dad i want to see some more of that next week hopefully. Gabriel too i would like to know a bit more about him and his past.
  • Good episode.

Well, it was a good episode, but after the past few episodes, I thought it was really boring. This episode was just like all of Season 1's episodes, where someone dies and Melinda helps them cross-over, but it was boring. The past episodes have been really exciting with stalkers and finding out information and everything, and then this one was just a let down. Don't get me wrong, though, it was still good. A woman starts to disappear in photos and instead is covered up by a blur. It turns out to be a student of hers who died trying to save his girlfriend who he thought was killing herself, but she lived and he didn't. Yea, he crossed over and everything's solved. Jim wants to go to Medical School which involves moving and Melinda doesn't know what to do. Melinda took a photo of herself and there are a bunch of spirits surrounding her in every shot. Weird. Good episode.
  • difficult decisions ahead

I just blanked right now, this one is important not only because of the ghost but also because of Jim and Melinda.

The whole evil spirits and ghosts underneath Grand View...

One of the things you want to do for someone you love is protect him, keep him safe from everything. I get Jim's side and I think he will be a great doctor.

And Melinda is right on something, she is surrounded of dark spirits and ghosts and they would find a way to find her anywhere.

Forgiveness is a powerful thing, it can change a persons life. And to forgive someone is important, I know that somethings are almost impossible to forgive but if you do, there's a peace inside.

And if you are forgiven for something, you get that peace too.. I think that's why every ghost need to be forgiven or need to let someone know they forgave him.
