This episode was so moving, seeing a childs death and the effects it can have on both the spirit and the family members left behind was heart wrenching truly I was in tears by the end of it. I also enjoyed the way that this episode introduces Delia as the possible new best friend, not neccesairly to replace Angela but to give Melinda someone new to confide in and I don't think it will be that long before she shares her supernatural secret with Delia. I mean hiding something like that from someone close has gotta be very hard work.

  • More of a stage setting episode for the new characters.

I can\'t say that I totally loved this episode. But it was interesting and it\'s serving the purpose of setting up the new characters to the show. Which is great, let us the audience get to know Delia and Professor Noodles. The actor that played the father of the little girl usually plays bad guys or I should say I\'ve seen him in more bad guy roles than sweetheart roles. I thought for sure Delia was gonna catch on to Melinda with first getting caught in that house with the ghosts brother, then asking to use the house so that the former residence could say good by to the little girl.

The little girl did definitely tug at my heart strings. No question about that.

a great episode! moving, well-cast and a really moving script. the best of the season so far...This reminded me of shows from last season, which I think were better. It goes for the heart and real emotion. The writing is much better than you would think it would be for this show... it truly is one of the best written shows on t.v. and I think the guest cast was great too, especially the guy who played the father. The little girl also is a real cutie. I can\\\\\\\'t wait until next Friday, definitely one of my favorite shows on t.v. right now....
  • Wow. Another episode to touch the heart

Such a lovely episode. I don't know how they do it but each time I watch this show I start to cry. Can you imagine how that little girl must feel? Not know that she is dead and waiting for her father to come home? I have to say too. Those kids parents are idiotic jerks even though you forgive them in the end. The mother gets so depressed that she does nothing but sleep and leave the children to fend for themselves and the father cheats on his wife. I'm surprised that these kids aren't screwed up because of their actions. Still Melinda found a way to help everyone to see the error of their ways and to move on forward. Brilliant!

Always one of my favorites. We find a haunted house, haunted by a child who drowned in the pool on the property. We're introduced to some more new characters, which I think we'll see more of. In addition to that ... we see Melinda put to rights a family that was torn apart by guilt, and loss. Altogether a very tight plot and good show. I love the way Melinda is starting to make new friends, I'd like to see more of Delia, and I have a feeling that after this episode, it won't be long until Delia starts asking questions about her new friend. I think it's enlightening to see how well Melinda's hubby is taking everything, he really takes it in stride and is so supportive, it makes you think there really are nice guys out there somewhere. :)

All in all excellent episode and it was nice to see that Melinda's shop and home were left alone by the little ghost girl. (I think that might be a first)

Now this is what i am talking about, the right amount of spooky stuff, fantastic effects and a story line that almost left me in tears (of joy!)

The fact it started with a angry ghost got me interested and hooked into the story line straight away and it actually played out really well but what got me was that each and everytime she approaches people about the spirits she gets a bad reception till she proves one thing or another! annoys me a little!

Also that Real Estate woman is very Andrea-esq i feel and her clothing and style, although a bigger woman was very similar and have a feeling she is going to be playing a big part when Melinda finally tells her the big secret...
  • Melinda helps a drowned child and her remaining family to forgive each other.

This episode was a real tearjerker. Melinda encounters the ghost of a 6 year old drowning victim when she visits with the new family who has moved into the child's home....and strange noises and quirks in the plumbing and pool arise. It seems since Andrea's death that Melinda is also hesitant to share with others(Delia) and the new neighbors(even though they suspect a haunting) about her gift. The young brother of the ghost blames himself for his sister's death as well as the break-up of the family that occured after the child's death and thinks his father blames him as well.Melinda has issues with this since her father was a "disneyland" dad as well(seeing him infrequently only when he brought gifts and the like). The ending was special with a resolution and clearing of everyone's guilt and forgiveness opens the door for the father and son to be close again as well as opening the door for Emily to move on. I know it seems like fluff but I like fluff sometimes. It was a sweet episode so now I'm ready for the laughing man and wide-brimmed hat man to reappear and add some sinister aspects.

A great show and proves that Jennifer Love Hewitt has really come into her own as an actress and no longer a teen idol. As Melinda, her character, goes to help out friends who have been having problems with their house. Only to be visited by a six year old drowning victim. Now she must help out her family.
