  • Another in a long line of amazing and memorable episodes!

This was yet another really sensational episode of Gost Whisperer, and certainly one that I loved to watch! The storyline was quite good, and the 'Holiday Spitrit" was a fitting and approprate title!

The episode developed really nicely, and I believe that it shaped out really well, with loads of twists and turns throughout the episode! There was a slight hint of predictability in the episode, which was the only downside, but overall, a memorable and amazing episode to watch!

I would highly recommend this show and this episode. The last few episodes have all been amazing, and this one ins so, too! No exceptiona to the rule/pattern, that's for sure! Keep it up, guys!
  • Jennifer produces this episode, Dee Wallace guests, Christmas theme, broken home message?

I haven't noticed Jennifer produce anything yet. This episode is done by her. I enjoyed seeing Dee Wallace playing a pleasant woman trying to do the best for her kid here. She looked pretty good. The story was excellent as expected. The Santa situation was pretty neat and unpredictable. The make-up work done on "Santa" was cool to see the comparison from professional dress to being in red. Melinda's husband has a nice surprise for her that fits the spirit of Christmas and the show. I didn't see her tear up on this one which is rare. I don't think I have seen another actress cry as much.
  • Christmas comes to Grandview, ghosts and all!

    "Superb"
Christmas comes to Grandview. Everyone is festive and the Antique shop Melinda and Delia run is buzzing with shoppers including a little boy. Oh, and a ghost that seems to be attached to the little boy! The ghost thinks he is Santa. He makes the young boy's dad get burned by exploding his PDA. Kind of cruel Santa if you ask me. Melinda unravels a family mystery concerning the boy and his parents who are separated. The dad doesn't know if he's the boy's father. What is shaping up to become a sad Christmas is saved by Melinda as she solves the riddle of the family. All's well that ends well.

  • A boy sees a ghost in the bulbs he is hanging on tree.

This story was so multi faceted. Check it: A fractured family and a ghost attached to a young boy. The father is too busy to notice the son, Grandmother wrings her hands and tries her best, Mother is absent until the end with on ghost who fancies himself Santa. Santa is a bit confused about a letter he has. Melinda helps him sort it out. The show was, check it: the best holiday fare so far this season. One had to feel for the little boy, neglected by his father. This show was worth waiting on. I'm glad that I did.

A fun and heartwarming Christmas episode I liked it a whole lot. The story starts out with "Santa" doing the typical poltergeist thing. To a man who is paying no attention to his family. Melinda does some digging and finds to my surprise that it wasn't Santa but a confused ghost. I admit some of my Supernatural viewing colored my judgment but Ghost Whisperer avoided the jaded explanation. Of a vengeful spirit who cares about nothing but his view of holiday enforcement. A welcome change was the ghost decided to stay and spread holiday cheer. Good episode and a success as a memorable Christmas showing.
  • A great episode where a ghost thinks he's Santa Claus!

    "Superb"
I thought this episode was a really good idea! Having a ghost think he is Santa Claus! For half of the episode I really thought that he was Santa til he said "Son of a..." I didnt think that they would have a Santa say that. Having a ghost think that he was Santa was awesome but also the story behind the dad of a kid and the dad's dad trying to get him to pay attention to his kid was good to. Pretty much the story line was great. I was glad that they had the ghost stay behind because he gave joy to kids like Santa is supposed to do. It was nice to have a christmas episode, especially with the whole writers strike and having to cut the season short.
  • The typical holiday episode. I like these ones, they get me into the theme lol

This time the ghost thinks he his Santa, the big guy with white bear and red outfit that travels all around the world in one day to give kids their presents.

This time he is watching out for a little boy whose father is to busy to notice. Of course there is a reason for that.

What I like about this one is the possibility that Santa may be a ghost for all the reasons Payne gives, he travels all around the world in one day, only kids can see him, he can interview in people«s lives...

    It's a good theory.

And the surprise they prepare for Melinda is sweet. All end well has is should.

The next one is so far away...
  • A ghost of Santa Claus!

Well the ghost was not a real Santa Claus but...it was a very sweet episode nonetheless. Realy reminded me of Christmas and it's miracles. It was a fine example to all Christmas themed episodes for many TV shows. The mood and atmosphere is perfect for Christmas in the episode. Melinda helped another family to understand that it is very important to stay together, especialy during the holidays. Only the end could have been a little better if Melinda, Jim, Delia and Rick would have celebrated Christmas in Melinda's house and not in the store with many people. Still the episode was really great.
  • Before the opening sequence, I knew exactly who the ghost really was, who he thought he was, and why he was there.

I know it's a Christmas themed episode, and I know it wasn't meant to be an amazing episode, so for that fact, I'll give it credit. Because this was a Christmas oriented episode, the ghost was obviously going to be mistaken for Santa Claus. That much is a given, but the fact that I knew pretty much EVERYTHING else that was going to happen in the episode doesn't give it much credit. At least with other TV shows, their Christmas themed episodes are done more original than this was. That being said, the episode itself wasn't that bad, I was just bored because I knew what would happen.
  • A light Christmas themed show.

A ghost thinks he is Santa Claus. The children in town can hear and see him. He thinks he trying to help his son stay by his grandson but he doesn't really realize what really is going on. The note he is carrying is from his son, not his grandson. Melinda helps him learn where he really stands and she gets the son, mother and the "Santa Claus" to make ammends. He doesn't cross over, he goes out and sees the children. He feels much better about what was happening prior to his death and Melinda feels very happy as well.
