I'm thinking, what is going on with Romano (the man in hat), Tom Gordon, Gabriel or lost souls. When will we know something about Grandview? When the producers want to explain everything? And anybody know, will fifth season aired? I hope so and I hope that then they will explain everything.
But let's back to the episode... It was filler for me. Ghostbusinnes was very mystery and let's say cool. No Sam/Jim//Mel, maybe it's good. Delia and Ned had more time, it was very fun. Especially scenes with Delia, I really like it. So the episode wasn't great, but it wasn't bad too. So, 8.moreless

  • The ghost story was good. I actually Eli in this installment. Delia has some more screen time. Ned definitely needs more screen time, too. I was not surprised that Jim/Sam was going off to find out about his past.moreless

I think that the writers may have a tough time explaining the direction of the Jim/Sam storyline. They took a major leap of faith with it. I can only see 3 ways of ending this even after the hypnotic past life therapy. Sam will remember that he was Jim. Then what?
    1. Sam/Jim will be killed off.
    2. Sam/Jim will go back to Sam's old life.
    3. Melinda wakes up from a dream in Jim's hospital room. Jim wakes up and has amnesia. She will help him to find out his old life. The show goes on from there like the old Sam thing never happened.moreless

    "Good"
Finally, an episode that doesn't deal with the Melinda/Jim "struggle"! It's about time. Sure, it was still there with Sam realizing that he proposed to a girl named Nicole, and the end but it didn't take over the hour like the past few weeks.

The ghost part of this episode was pretty entertaining, but it all seemed to fall apart at the end. We had a good mystery, and a good backstory, but when Devin became involved and it turned from supernatural to a really troubled child my interest dwindled down.

And on a side note, the return of The Spirit's great song "The Man Who Can't Be Moved" in the opener made me happy.moreless
