  • Melinda helps a man (deceased) communicate with his fiancée

Okay fist things first, during the teaser did anyone notice the bath water. What was with the dirty water? Anyway, this is a cute story where Melinda helps a man communicate with the woman he left behind as well as find love with the man he gave his heart transplant to. The translpant recipient Cliff Aimes, is played by the well known actor Joey Slotnick. you can see more of his work on Boston Legal Boston Public and CSI. Overall I thought this was a pretty average episode. The show is getting better but i cant say its one of my favorite series yet.
  • Melinda helps a woman whose fiancée died...

Melinda's husband rescues a woman that tried to kill herself. The woman wants to join her recently deceased fiancée in the afterlife. He is happy to have her join him. He was a organ donor, so his heart has been placed in another man, who has mixed feelings about his renewed life. Plus he is feeling some rather odd sensations. Melinda has her hands full with this one. The ghost doesn't want to cross over. It takes bringing together the girlfriend and the guy with the transplanted heart to help set things right. Joey Slotnick, a familiar Hollywood face, is very affecting as the heart transplant patient. Michelle Nolden as the grieving girlfriend is also quite touching, once we get over the initial shock of witnessing her trying to kill herself. Watch for the moment when Slotnick wipes up some crumbs from a restaurant table and see if you can keep from getting moist eyes.
  • It was a good episode, but not the best.

I have to admit it was a good episode but it was not my favorite. I liked how they made it so that Cliff was the reciever of the heart, that was interesting and we've never seen an episode like that before. But I have to admit for a while I didn't really like the ghost and the fact that he wouldn't leave, he was clinging on to he too much. But in the end he did what was right and that was good. Then at the end we got to see the laughing man and I feel that added to the scariness of the episode. It was a fairly good episode.
  • A great episode with a huge cliffhanger which may have consequences later in the season!

This episode was great, different from all the other episodes, i have felt that the first 3 episodes have been introducing the series and exporing the chracters, this episode was different, in the way we began to change the storyline a bit, it wasn't just help him to move on, it was to help the bereaved move on also, that was a great aspect to the episode. The end was the best part for me as i think it has foreshadowed things to come later on in the season, that may have us on tenderhooks! Great, great, great!
  • Ok... but nothing new!

Its not that it was a bad episode. Its just that it was more of the same. We’ve basicaly seen the same story with a few variations four times in a row. They got the formula and they’re sticking to it. The problem is the formula isn’t good enough for a weekly show. Its getting boring. Its getting predictable. I could almost guess the lines.

They need to spice things up. Put some danger into it along with the sentimental stuff. Once in a while squeeze something exciting into the episode. This one started perfectly and then descended into the same old story. Its a shame. The show has potential. A good cast. A great lead. A premise that allows for some “crazy” things to happen. They just need imagination. Lets hope that evil laugh was a preview of things to come.

  • Match-Maker!

She can speak to ghosts, help them cross over and now low and behold........she's a matchmaker.

A dead man wants to stay on Earth to protect his fiancee from men and evil.... I guess, but how can he when his dead? I liked this aspect of the episode, although I don't think of ghosts or care for them, I believe the dead follow cling to their loved ones.

The dead man wants to find the person who received his heart who we learn doesn't care if he lives or dies since he lacks self confidence, and wallows in self-pity.

Melinda, now decides that the only way to get her newest client to cross over would be to set his fiancee with the heart recipient.

    Overall, another average episode.

  • This episode was about a woman who couldn't leave without her boyfriend who died in a bike accident a year ago. Her boyfriend doesn't want to leave the world but Melinda tells him he has to because without that she couldn't live her new life who wants to

This episode was so sad in a sense because we can see that when you love someone ad this person died you don't want anything else in the world but to join him where he is. With time we have to understand that when someone leaves you it's not because he wanted to and we have to move on and make a new life even if it's hard. When the time comes you have to continue but it doesn't mean that you forgot the other one. Jennifer Love Hewitt have the right words to explain to him. This was an incredible episode with lots of emotions. Good job to everyone Jennifer, David and everyone else.Waiting for the next one!!!
  • A man who died in a bicycle accident seeks Melinda's help to save his fiance who tried to commit suicide. He also wanted to meet the person who got his heart as a transplant. Melinda hooks Gwen up with the man with Conor's heart!

    VERY MOVING!!

The episode had a PSA on not committing suicide and it showed that LOVE conquors all! It's very strange how the man with Conor's heart has the same EXACT habits as Conor did! Andrea's apartment cieling leaked because of the heating vent on the floor by Gwen's tub.
  • When a young man dies, he becomes earth-bound as he doesn't want to leave his girlfriend. Melinda comes to aid him into the light but he wont leave until he knows his girlfriend is okay.

I know many reviewers wont like this episode, citing it too formulaic, etc. But that is exactly the plot and premise of this show...in each episode Melinda will encounter an earth-bound entity and she must help it cross over into the light. To say that they have "done" this plot already is akin to saying the same thing to any new episode from the CSI or Law & Order franchise, which have the same formulaic approach to its episodes. But back to this episode. It was wonderful as it had a man killed in a bike accident became a ghost. He doesn't want to make the transition because he sees the toll his death is taking on his girlfriend, who tried to committ suicide. He is afraid for her and, at the same time, we learn that he doesn't want to leave her because that would mean she would eventually move on and find another mate. Melinda is able to help him by finding the man who got his heart, and he connects the girlfriend with the heart recipient, each are able to bond with each other, allowing the ghost to finally go to the light. A very great episode that always sparks a tear in your eye. JLH does a superb job.

Okay, another episode of Ghost Whisperer, I personally liked it, you may have another opinion. This episode was well written, it was about another, you guessed it Ghost. In this case the man dies in a bicycle accident, but he was not ready to move on from his fiancee. When this man died, his heart was transferred into another man with heart problems. Melinda, tryies to set them up, and it works until he does something her fiancee did. Melinda talks to the ghost and they decide that they should let the fiancee decide if he should stay or go. In the end, the ghost moves on because he wants her to have a better life. This was an interesting episode, I liked it, but everyone has there own opinion. Next weeks looks good to, just to let y'all know.
  • A somewhat boring storyline.

In tonight's episode, I found that nothing exciting or orginal happend. We see Melinda helping a woman get over being depressed about the death of her fiancee and it goes downhill from there. Through the course of the episode, Melinda and Andrea become fast friends with Gwen once she is discharged from the hospital, which is one aspect of the story I find unbelievable. Another thing that is unbelievable was how Connor refused to crossover once he found out who recieved his heart after he died, because he loved Gwen too much and didn't want to lose her. I also found Melinda setting Gwen up with Cliff, just because he has Connor's heart somewhat crazy, especially with the way that there was an instant attraction between them. Lastly, one thing that I found to be thrown into the episode was the Ghost at the end of the episode, staring at Melinda and laughing. I really hope that next week's episode is an improvement over this installment.
  • I really want to like this show but it needs to give a little more.

So tonights episode started off well. I liked the drama of a potential suicide needing Melinda's help.

Melinda came upon a ghost who was haunting his fiance. Connor had died in a bike accident a year before. In that time Gwen was unable to move on because she sensed his presence. Initially I wondered why she would be able to sense the presence of this man so strongly but then it became abundantly clear that he was all she had. She had no family and he was a true love. The other twist, Connor was a heart donor. Melinda met the man who received his heart and he was an unhappy person. He had guilt about receiving a "second chance." I was not at all surprised when Melinda set up the heart recipient and Gwen. It was just too predictable.

I watched this story unfold and found myself getting seriously bored. I felt like this was the same episode I have seen 4 times now. The best part of the show was the very ending, as Melinda looked across the street at a spirit who broke out into an eerie laugh.

I really want to like this show. I think it has great potential. So far it has had some top notch actors/actresses in guest starring roles, and Jennifer Love Hewitt has an amazing qaulity about her that the small screen loves. The writers just need to give me more. Something unpredictable, maybe a little suspensful even. Otherwise I fear this will be a show much like Touched by an Angel, where each week we are beaten over the head with the message to not take our lives for granted.

I realize this is a very new show, because I like the cast and guest stars I will give it a couple more episodes. Also because the end of this episode has me wondering if the writers are hearing my prayers.
