Ghost Whisperer

This episode starts when Melinda is in her Jeep driving home and she is on the phone with Jim. She tells him that she is 14 miles until she makes it back to Grandview. Then all the sudden she sees another sign with a 6 digit number and it freaks her out. Next she hangs up and her car starts to stop. When she stops she sees a car approaching, and locks the door and gets out a knife. The car comes right next to her and flashes a flashlight into Melinda's window. The car pulls up and somebody gets out and Melinda is very scared. she then rolls down her window and it is just a woman asking if she needs help. the woman looks under the hood and fixes the problem and gives Melinda directions back to get to Grandview. The woman also tells Melinda that she owns the auto shop. Melinda sees a ghost in front of her jeep that really scares her. He tells her that somebody is going to die. He also says "The Midnight Circle." So now Melinda has some clues to work with for this spirit. Melinda wants to go back to that area, but this time takes Jim with her. On the way, Melinda sees the girl that helped her get her car running again. They stop their and the woman looks at her car and just says that it was overheated. She asked her if she knows the digits that she saw or if she knew what the midnight circle was. The woman told Melinda that she didn't know what any of it was. The next day at work, Delia talks about her son, Ned, and his problems lately. When they both close up, Melinda goes to her car and sees a big crowd of people and a car that has that same 6 digit number on it. Then she sees Ned hanging out with the older kids. She then goes over their and gets Ned. The next day, you see Delia talking to Ned about his actions in the store. Delia tells Ned not to be mad at Melinda for telling on him. Then later, outside the store Melinda and Ned have a talk. Melinda tells him that he shouldn't be hanging out with older people like that. She then finds out that Ned does know about "The Midnight Circle," and he tells her that he couldn't tell her because he promised. That night Melinda is driving home and a bunch of racing cars passed her and were screaming and having a fun time, and Melinda followed them. Melinda went to where they were going and found out what "The Midnight Circle," was. She then again sees Ned, and the woman that owned the auto shop that lied to her also about the 6 digit number. The next day Melinda goes to the auto shop, and the woman told her that she wasn't their at the drag race, and Melinda told her that she could have got killed. Melinda went to leave the auto shop and saw a picture of a the ghost that appears as a skeleton. She then takes Jim with her and goes back to the area of contact with the ghost once again. The ghost then told Melinda that he is trying to kill that woman. Melinda then finds out that the spirit and the woman were in a relationship. The ghost told Melinda that he was the drag racer and taught the woman everything he knew about it and she began to race and got really good. He said that she started messing with her car and blames her for the night he died. Melinda then finds out that she wasn't to blame, and the woman one night competed it a drag race competition and who she was against, was in a race with her boyfriend when he died. The guy told Melinda that he loosened the woman's steering wheel. The woman nearly crashes. Melinda speaks for the spirit to the woman. He later crosses over.
