Ghost Whisperer

Melinda's dreams about a man in a mask lead her to a family who's son was killed years ago, and she finds out that the killer was prosecuted and convicted by her father. Trying to find out more information, she goes to Gabriel, and is surprised when her father is there too, alive. The killer later escaped from prison during a fire and was never found, and Melinda becomes worried that he is trying to hurt her father by possessing him and pushing him out of his own body. She believes that this is what has caused her to see his ghost recently; that he has been coming to her when he is pushed out of his body. The little boy is also possessing people so that he can be close to his mother, but after Melinda talks to both of them, she finds out that the boy was not killed, that his death was an accident. Once he told them this, he was able to cross over. Melinda goes to her father's hotel room, concerned about him, and just as she gets there, there is a gunshot and blood spills from beneath the door.
