  • This episode blew my mind away...!

I watched this episode, not feeling that great about Ghost Whisperer as recently I've felt that the series was lacking as each episode she always helps people..... please don't yell, I know that's the kind of stuff that Melinda does, I just felt that the second season a new kind of story as the first series did.. (hints about what was going to happen at the end of the season) And we have... I;m really happy that the writers are beginning to write more about what is going to happen to melinda and her friends later on in the season.

I was also unhappy as Delia hadn't featured much in episodes, and from what i hear Melinda is going to tell her that she can talk to the dead (earth-bound spirits) Here in Scotland, we're half way through the secind season on Living Tv... I'm really excited about the series finale.

Overall, I'm really happy about this episode as it's going to (hopefully) have something to do about the series finale, which I hope will be very exciting! bye :):)
  • Quite a different day for Mel.

wow...that was AWESOME. I mean really awesome. That was quite different as the normal episodes. First Mel and Delia are in the middle of a robbery and Delia'S engagement-ring was stolen. Seasond, Mel is haunted by a quite normal looking ghost, named Randy who acts kinda strange and makes things even worse when third, Mel was held hostage. And in the end when we (again) think everything is happy and good, the ghost suddenly decides to change the side and go the the dark side. That was so different and exciting. Really one of the best episodes of the second season. And Delia was kinda confused after Mel told her at first that Randy died and in the end when Mel yelled his name.
  • Great Episode!!

This was a very exciting and different episode! Melinda really delt with a lot in this episode! First being in a store while it was being robed. That would have been very scary. Second being held hostage! That would have been even more scarier. Third doing her usual and crossing over a ghost. Fourth having another ghost cross over to the dark side! I can't believe that the ghost crossed over to the dark side! He seemed so nice and after what Melinda went through for him the least he could do is cross over to the light. I thought this episode was great!
  • Another uninteresting episode on an uninteresting series.

    4.0
    "Poor"
Average is a word that applies perfectly to every single aspect of this show. The actig is plain, the plotting is straightforward, the dialogue is on the nose, the premise is unoriginal and the whole thing just has nothing to set it apart.

Don't get me wrong, this show would be just fine on a TV lineup twenty years ago. It has that same feeling of recurring blandness "classic" television had. But that's just not good enough today. We're on a golden age of serialized fiction, guys, and you just can't justify a 10.0 to such campy, cheap fiction on a world with Heroes, Lost, Prison Break and so many others. As for the specifics of this episode, they're on par with everything I'm talking about above. Somehow Melinda gets involved on a convoluted plan to rob a jewelry store and spends an hour arguing nonchalantly with one of the show's not-so-scary ghosts (this one's attempt at creepyness is a sore throat, apparently). Nothing you haven't seen before, here or elsewhere. The plot seems to revolve around a number of character developments, but they're as bland as the PG approach to ghost stories the show has. Nobody seems to care much about anything, including the families of the recently deceased. Have you ever noticed how CSI victims' families don't really seem to care? Well, this is the same, just here not even the victim himself cares or needs to adapt to his recent death. Add to that more of the awful "standard TV supernatural rules" we have to endure in shows like Charmed, Supernatural and other TV lousy crap and you get the picture. In this ep, a ghost asks "why am I so weak" and Melinda matter-of-factly replies "oh, that's because you've been using up all your energy" as if ghosts came with built-in ectoplasm gauges, like videogame characters. Overall, neither the show nor this episode are interesting or well done enough to rank them up there with contemporary TV's big shots.
  • One word, WOW!

There is only one word to describe this episode, wow! The Cradle Will Rock was absolutely amazing. It was so intense and kept you hooked the entire time, I don't think I moved an inch while watching it. At the beginning I was so sure that Randy was a good guy, and even when he was dead I was sure it was just a misunderstanding of some kind. But then the ending through me off completely (not saying what is was for spoiler reasons) It's amazing that Delia didn't get to suspicious in this episode, I would have it I were her. And I loved how they put Melinda in danger the whole time, it made it more exciting. Although the dream through me off a bit, I thought that was what was really happenging, glad it wasn't though. This was definately one of my all time favorite episodes!
  • Wow this was an awesome episode!! A very surprising ending!!!!

Wow this episode was one of my favourites.Melinda got held hostage by Wyatt. When Randy said he would help Melinda I thought he actually was going to. I didn't think he would do that to Melinda he seemed like such a nice guy!! It was an intense episode to watch but I loved it!! I thought it was soo cute when Jim bought Melinda roses. Hes soo loveable!! haha .. I was completley surprised at the end of the episode when Melinda waalked to the back room of her store to see Randy there. I didn't think Randy would go with Romano that really stunned me I thought Randy was some nice guy who would cross over haha i guess not. It also surprised me how he and Wyatt planned to do that robbery I wasnt expecting that either!! and Melinda's dream really scared me too.. I tohught he actually came into the house with his big gun!! haha .. anyhow this was a really good episode!!!

Melinda is in a diamond store with Delia when it gets robbed. The cashier trys to be a hero but fails. The next day the ghost of the cashier comes to her. She goes to his wife's house to tell them about a cradel. It turns out that Randy (the cashier), his sister, and her boyfriend planned to steal the jewlary from the store, Randy took extra cash and the boyfriend found out and killed him. I won't tell you the rest but one thing tell you is that the ending has a huge twist. this is by far the best epsiode in the second season!
  • started dark and ended dark.

I really like the show, but sometimes the sobbing and the I love you so much crap really gets to me. It was also getting to me that every time they had a spirit that seemed evil or dark it always turned out in the end that they were just misunderstood. This time the show ended on a dark note, without all the sobbing and I love and miss you so much junk.

    This was a great episode!
  • Melinda gets held hostage!

This was an exciting episode. Melinda gets held hostage, and the ghost she is trying to help refuses to help her get free. I liked this a lot, though, because it was different from most of the episodes. The ghost refuses to go into the light at the end, and we see him vanish below. Melinda's co-worker, Delia, is becoming suspicious on how Melinda keeps talking to herself, and why she knows information before Delia even tells her! In the end, the crazy guy's wife turns him in. It was a very exciting episode and I hope we see more suspenseful episodes like this!
  • This episode was well written and had a suprising ending.

First of all the engagement ring Charlie had given Delia turned out beautifully. I was watching this thinking it was so sweet and then boom in comes a robber and this whole episode was a roller coaster ride. I was so afraid that something was going to happen to Delia from watching the preview but alas it was Melinda who had her world turned upside down by the living and the dead. Randy the ghost turned out to be a total jerk and I am pretty sure we will probaly see more of him and the man in the hat in the future

I kind of figured the sister was keeping some sort of secret or she felt guilty when Melinda went to see Lynn with a message from Randy. I was wondering how this ghost got so much power over Melinda and the others right after he died but now I know it was the man in the hat and instead of walking into the light he went to join the evil club. I was shocked by the ending because let's be real $75,000 is not alot to live on for Lynn and Rose unless they are going to live cheap. Fantastic episode!!!
  • A robbery of a jewelry store, leads to the death of an owner, with a double cross, and a back track twist thrown in for good measure.

Oh my my my, the ghost in this episode was quite the jerk!Of course the sister and her boyfriend weren't wrapped too tight either. Loved that Delia got her ring back. Thought for sure that Delia was going to find out Melinda's secret. Loved the twist about the money though. That was pretty slick. Looks like there might be trouble a brewin' in the very near future. For sure Professor Noodles will be popping up once again to help out Melinda. It does look like there are some dark days approaching. The show is still missing the element of Andrea though.
