Goof: When Rita was in the bath and live shrimp started swimming towards her, the shrimp were grey in the bath; but when she picked one up still wriggling, it was orange. Besides the sudden change in color from the water to her hand, live/raw shrimp are generally not bright orange-they are usually grey (some species may be pale translucent orange)-cooked shrimp appear orange.
Goof: After Jim gets off the phone with Melinda telling her that more people think the morgue is haunted, another doctor calls him Dr.Clancy. However, technically Jim Clancy is dead and he is assuming the life of Sam Lucas and should have been addressed as Dr.Lucas.
Goof: Mrs. Collier's head alternates from hanging to the right to hanging to the left in the flashbacks of the other driver.
Goof: The camera focuses on Eli's bare feet while he argues with Sam about his plans to jump into the water to rescue Melinda. A few minutes later, while still arguing, he takes his socks off and throws them aside.
Goof: in the scene when Dr. Byrd crosses into the light, the park clock's lancets are both shown downwards to the number six, one upon the other; this could not be possible as both 5:30 and 6:30 have the shorter lancet and the longer lancet disaligned on a regular clock.

Warm Whispers by Missy Higgins The Man Who Can't Be Moved by The Script
The hockey game that Jim is watching at the end of the episode when Melinda goes to the garage to talk to him after crossing the ghost is the NCAA Division I National Championship game between the Boston University Terriers and Northern Michigan University Wildcats. The game went to 3 OT periods, ending in an 8-7 victory in favor of the Wildcats.
This episode was likely inspired by the Tri-State Crematory in Noble, Georgia, which came under investigation in 2002 when a woman walking her dog near the grounds found a human skull. More than 330 bodies that were supposed to be cremated were found discarded on the grounds, including in a lake that had to be partially drained and dredged. The crematory owner claimed he improperly discarded of the corpses because the furnace was broken and he couldn't afford to fix it (though tests by authorities ultimately proved this false). He would give the families cement dust in place of the ashes of their loved ones.
Goof: When Jim/Sam first gets his Sangria it is nearly full but only after a brief sip it is nearly a third of the way down the glass, then it switches back to full. It alternates several more times by the time they finish the scene.
First credited appearance by Dariush Kashani (Bobby) since the season 1 episode Miss Fortune. However, he wasn't credited.
Sam's actual face is only seen in the mirror of his truck while Melinda is talking to him.
The song "The Man Who Can't Be Moved" by The Script was playing when Sam/Jim was unloading his things from his car and he was about to move in with Melinda.
The role of Faith Clancy was recasted with Joanna Cassidy. In season 1, the role was played by Christine Baranski.
Goof: The ghost in the final scene is wearing different clothes than the hospital gown his dead body is wearing. In Season 3's Unhappy Medium, Melinda said that ghosts appear in whatever clothes they died in.
The name of the tortured female ghost is Lorelei.
Lorelei is also the name of one of the Rhine Maidens in German mythology who lured navigators to their dooms with their singing, much as the ancient Greek Sirens did.
On the way to their cabin, Melinda is told by a female ghost that Audrey Hepburn once stayed in Melinda's cabin and that Melinda looks like her. Jennifer Love Hewitt once played Miss Hepburn in the 2000 biopic The Audrey Hepburn Story.
When Melinda enlists the aid of Eli via phone, in dealing with the requests of several ghosts, the first one to approach identifies himself as "Rogo"...Rogo was the last name of Ernest Borgnine's character in The Poseidon Adventure (1972).
Another Poseidon Adventure name turns up later on in a character named Linarcos (Anthony Tyler Quinn) who shares his name with Fred Sadoff who played a Mr. Linarcos.
Although credited, Christoph Sanders (Ned Banks) doesn't appear in this episode.
