Melinda crosses over more than one ghost at a time. The first time we see her do this was in "Lost Boys."
When Andrea is besieged by the ghost in the store and her hair is flying around everywhere and her top is flying up, she is freaking out. Melinda sees all of this and she sees the ghost as well. But, while the customers browsing around in the store obviously don't see the ghost, they also don't notice the very obviously strange episode with Andrea's hair and clothes.
goof: During the periods where his heart stopped and he became a temporary spirit, Dennis was in his hiking gear but when Melinda got to the hospital and saw his spirit when his heart stopped again he was in a hospital gown.
I'm not dead.
(ghost wrote on Andrea's car)
Sarah sees Melinda as a 9 year old girl, yet she doesn't question the adult things that Melinda does (ex. the fact that Melinda can drive; she lives with Jim, not her mother.)
Goof: Sarah sees Melinda like she still was a little girl. However, when Sarah talks to Melinda, she always looked up.
Goof: The customer who wants her soap engraved left Melinda's shop with just the information Andrea gave her, leaving the soap she bought behind.
At the end where Melinda blows out her birthday cup cake candle her Grandmother (who has already crossed over) is seen appearing behind her in a golden yellow light.
Dylan puts on a school play called, Ghost at the Crossing. The play is based on Kenny's story in the episode, The Crossing.
Melinda's Mother (played by Anne Archer) is also able to see ghost but denies it as if it was a curse.
Andrea feels the presence of the sinister ghost in a hat in the shop even before Melinda comes into work.
Hamilton is the town Melinda grew up in.
The name of Melinda & Andrea's store is:
Same As It Never Was Antique Shop
Jim cuts Melinda's hair after it was caught in the sink drain.
This is the first time when Melinda touched an object of the dead person that she got a flash back of what that person felt during that moment.
In the painting, that Clete painted to get Melinda's attention changes in the end from the hanging platform to Clete holding young Leslie on his lap and they're painting together.
This is the first time that we have seen Melinda and Jim argue. Although they have forgiven each other by the end of the episode.
The Dark Ghost makes an appearance in a window of Todd's rental house at the tail-end of the episode. Melinda is visibly frightened by the sight, perhaps because she has just seen a ghost who can cause actual physical harm in the land of the living. No further clues about who the Dark Ghost is or what he or the Laughing Ghost want with Melinda were revealed.
The dog Homer from "Lost Boys" returns for a second but this time Jim allows her to keep it.
This is the first time a ghost uses violence against the person they are haunting and someone actually got hurt from it.
