I was drawn in by the preview of the blurred ghost with the odd voice and Orlando Jones being a guest. When she felt woozy as the ghost appeared, it was believable. The issue of false mediums fit this series well, but this story wasn't my favorite. Somehow the teaming up of the two characters didn't work believeably. At the end, when the medium signs his fan's books, I don't see much of a change that will happen with the man. I doubt he had any powers and he needed to find another occupation if that is true otherwise, these two where just babbling to each other. I was slightly choked up on this episode, but I didn't get teary eyed like many before.
wow...again a great story...a great example that the stories don't have to be REALLY SAD...and still AWESOME!
It started kewl... and it was really funny during that meeting where this guy can "see the truth without knowing the person" ...when Delia wanted Mel to be the next who gets told the truth!
Anyway...an evil ghost appears and Mel knows he's attached to this guy! But she isn't believing him this "I can see everything"-thing!
It's great to see Mel getting sceptical, and Delia telling her bout the way she feels when Mel is "talking" to the ghosts!
Then Mel finds out this guy helps a familiy. A girl is missing and the familiy thinks she's dead and wants to know the truth from him!
Mel investigates cuz she's still not believing him, because he says that this girl is alive...what is a lie because the "evil" ghost is this girl..so that means she's dead!
In the end they work together cuz Mel wants him to tell the family the girls's dead because they would believe him more than Mel!
Jim was such a sweetheart again...and Delia was great too!
This episode was alright. It didn't make me scream like some of the best do but it kept me wathcing. Basicaly the story line is melinda meets andother so called "medium." Together they spolve s mystery of a girl who died. My opinion of this is that i have seen better and worse. I hate the fact that the show might end so we really have to show it we want it to stay everyone. I have only been watching for about half a season but I am hooked. I will be depressed if the show ends. Personally I am still morning Gilmore girls. I cannot handle another loss.
Nice, somewhat quiet and enjoyable episode like when the show first began. When Ghost Whisperer first started the episodes were totally emotion or fright based. They had a bubblegum
Nice, somewhat quiet and enjoyable episode like when the show first began. When Ghost Whisperer first started the episodes were totally emotion or fright based. They had a bubblegum exterior and resolution but mostly it was watching a supernatural exercise in everyone wins. In this episode we have Orlando Jones playing a false medium very well and a story that was more about solving the question of the ghost death and not scaring us. In the end the ghost crosses over and the family is put at ease and the trickster even turns over a new leaf. Nice refreshing throwback to the early days of the show good job.
It's not that I don't want Melinda to learn the truth about her father but since we won't learn much til it's the season's finally and they leave us hanging with a big scoop it's nice to have an episode which is not daddy related. We got to see how a burden it can be to have this "special" gift which is not always easy to handle and you feel respect for the character of Melinda since she didn't choose to ignore it or just it use to be rich and famous, she really does dot it only because it's the right thing to do and she wants to help people like her grandmother did in the past. Only bad point concerning this episode is the absence of Professor Payne, kept expecting him to show up... !
A girl goes missing and Melinda suspects she's dead from a ghost she sees at the medium's lecture. The supposed medium says she's alive. In the end they both need to work together with Melinda's ability to communicate with ghosts and the medium's ability to see the finer details to solve the riddle of the missing person who it turns out was a drug addict from over achieving. And she is dead. And it's her family who tried an intervention that went wrong that resulted in the death. Mel crosses the ghost into the light and the medium learns a lesson or two of his own, especially that there are ghosts out there. It was an alright show, not one of my favorite episodes.
Another good one. I like how they wrote about how the girl was killed, it was so unexpected! They really had me going thinking that the girl was abducted and raped because of the clues of the men's clothing and blurly vision and crazy warped slured speech. But really it was all due to her coming down off from her drug adiction to ADHD medication. I was sort of sad too, no one meant for her to die, her sister was really trying to help. However, she shouldn've done it on her own . . . they needed real help. I wasn't something someone could do without professional help.
This show was a very sad show as it shows that a missing girl and that a medium who isn't one at all but a fake. Melinda tries to prove that. Plus find the missing girl and calm down the family that wants to find her. What is so sad is that she is found dead and that she didn't have her medication due to her have ADHD. Usually these shows are great but this one is so sad. Plus, the missing girl turns up dead. Despite not wanting the girl to die. Had not that fake medium been in the way, probably they would had found the girl alive and well.
This was a very special episode because it was about a someone who pretends like he does what Melinda does but doesn't really do all of those things. There was a lack of Melinda and Jim moments but the moments were prety good moments but not the best. I liked how the one sister felt like the other sister was better than her because that does happen a lot in real life. One thing I am confused about is if Casey really has the gift or not because It wasn't really clear on that?? I really enjoyed this episode !! !!
This was an amazing one, and it was so interesting. While I have to admit that the storyline wasn't the best one that we have ever seen, the interactions between Melinda and Casehy certainly made it worthwhile, and even amazing!
I loved the idea of a ne w 'medium' appearing, and the battle between Melinada and Casey was an interesting one! I really enjoyed that!
I also thought the case became more and more interesting as we watched on, and that was a huge plus side, in my opinion.
Overall, definitely an episode that I would highly recommend! This show and this episode were great, and the long string of remarkable episodes continue!
