Goof: When Lifeline is first seen, the lens of his glasses are clear, but the subsequent shots show them as their regular green color. Then when the Joes first see Sargeant Slaughter taking on the B.A.T.s, Leatherneck is speaking with Flint's voice when he says "Holy Mackerel!"
In the beginning episode credits, Ron Friedman is incorrectly given credit for writing the teleplay for this episode. Buzz Dixon was the writer for the entire miniseries, Arise, Serpentor, Arise!

Sergeant Slaughter was a WWF wrestler during the 80's and early 90's. Slaughter was the celebrity spokesman of GI Joe. He's also recent inductee of the WWE hall of fame and a former US Marine.
