    Would a huge, Hollywood, current movie work for this series? Or is there a reason it hasn't been done yet?

    Judging from the quality of other movies made from silly TV shows like this, it would be a total flop. I think this kind of humor is endearing because the 60s were the ideal time for it, but I don't think it would work today.

    Actually according to IMDB there is one in the works for 2012. There isn't a lot of information about it yet.
