    The Howells were married...they had each other already...slept in twin beds as was the standard for TV couples in those days.k

    However, 2 single women and 3 single men...it always seemed odd that no long term relationships developed.

    Ginger was not above playing seductress when she wanted something.

    The Professor was more interested in science...

    This was an old show that was made in the 1960's and sex on T.V. was taboo back then.

    Which is why the Howells had twin beds...very few married couples in the 50's and 60's tv shows slept in the same bed...which was highly implausilbe
