Gilligan steps into a bucket of glue containing a brush. The brush disappears when Gilligan tries to pry his foot out.
Only parts of the boat was glued with boards but the whole boat fell apart, that wouldnt work in reality, just the boards will fall off.
Lovey: You see, [Gilligan and the Skipper] are pasted on the boat. Professor: Oh that glue is permanent. There's nothing on the island to dissolve it. Lovey and Thurston: Nothing? Professor: Why do you know what it would take? It would take a polyester derivative of an organic hydroxide molecule. Thurston: Watch your language. You're in the presence of a lady.
Thurston: It is rather difficult being rich. If it weren't for the money, I'd rather be poor.
Gilligan: Me hiding? Where what what what hiding who what what what hiding what who… Skipper, I got a confession to make. I got a stuck foot.
