Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

  • TRIVIA (4)

    • When Mary Ann enters Gilligan and the Skipper's hut, she claims that she made him his favorite drink. As she explains to Gilligan what she put in it, "Gilligan" drinks it all up. However, a closer look reveals a small tube leading from the bottom side of the cup into Mary Ann's shirt sleeve, which is the actual reason for the drink to "disappear."

    • As the Skipper and the others, enter the hut where the "older" Gilligan is sleeping, you can hear the song "Grandfather's Clock".

    • The wig used for Gilligan's "white" hair is actually light blond, with the yellow color clearly noticeable whenever Gilligan stands next to the Skipper, whose own white hairs are colorless, or when compared with Gilligan's collar, which is bright white.

    • Ginger uses her own hair to make Gilligan a wig, but how come her hair is exactly the same.

  • QUOTES (0)

  • NOTES (2)

    • The Skipper alludes to Zsa Zsa Gabor and her sister Eva Gabor in the scene where he informs the other castaways of the failed efforts by Ginger and Mary Ann to make Gilligan feel young when he says "The Gabor sisters struck out."
