This is my favorite episode of season 1. Every time I watch it, I think poor Gilligan.

Little Buddy is not respected on the show and sometimes you can't blame the castaways but I commend him for running away, poor little buddy

I love that all six of them go searching for Gilligan and that they decide to keep him despite of his 'help' great episode for a spectacular television show and I applaud it The ending was also superb as Gilligan blows up his cake and break the ceiling as he accidentally switched the two powders and gave the girls the wrong powdermoreless

    • Goof: when Gilligan has the rabbit on his head, Ginger puts the hat back on and says to count to one hundred by threes. It's impossible. He says 97 then 100 but when you get to 90 its 93, 96, 99 and 102.

    • Skipper: Howell, I got to take my hand off to you. Beneath that rough exterior, there lies a heart of gold. Thurston: No, if that were true, I'd have had it removed and minted years ago.

    • Lovey reads Gilligan's sign "Nobody iz Hom." Lovey: Oh dear. Somebody terribly illiterate must be in that cave. Thurston: My dear, we have found Gilligan.

    • Ginger: However, I'll need a volunteer from the audience. Gilligan: I volunteer, I'm a human being.

    • Gilligan: (after his failed egg trick) I'm sorry. It worked for me. I just shoved it in my ear, and it came out of my mouth. Skipper: It's easy for you, Gilligan. There's nothing in between.

    • Gilligan: Can I show you my trick now? Lovey: Do it quickly, because Mr. Howell and I are about to retire. Thurston: Sleep, that is. We retired financially years ago.. Careful investments and all that.

    • Skipper: It's such a big crate, it could be anything. Gilligan: No, it's couldn't be anything. It couldn't be Denver, Colorado.

    • Skipper: "Food for a week." It's not a fish, it's a box. Gilligan: We can have a box lunch.
