    FILTER BY TYPE

    • TRIVIA (6)

      • Mary Ann returns to a fiance who's supposedly been waiting for her since she became stranded on the island. However, episode 54, "The Postman Cometh" made it clear that she did not have a significant other back home.

      • When the producer is going into Ginger's dressing room to tell her to get back on the set, it's believed Ginger smashes a chair over his head. But look at the shadow...the producer is putting the chair on himself!

      • In episode 2 "Home Sweet Hut", at the end the hut floats in the lagoon. Why not use the water-proof floors from this hut?

      • In real life, the ocean (pacific) is SOOOOOOO deep, they'd go under before anyone notices (currents)

      • On the ocean, they crash into the wall causing they hay to fall out, but later, the wall's fine and there's no sign of loose hay.

      • The castaways say that they need to build floors, but they never do.

    • QUOTES (3)

      • Last Lines
Glligan: (after they've been restranded) What's wrong, everybody? We're home again!
Skipper: Yes, Gilligan... (pummeling him with his hat) WE'RE HOME AGAIN!

      • Professor: (about the coming tsunami) Mind you, I haven't worked out all the details.
Mrs. Howell: I have just one thing to say to you, Professor, work out the details.

      • Mary Ann: (about Gilligan) He didn't mean any harm, Skipper.
Skipper: Neither did the iceberg that sank the Titanic.

    • NOTES (2)

      • Sherwood Schwartz, the creator of "Gilligan's Island" said that he was upset that he did not have the chance to make a series finale to the show showing how the castaways left the island. In order to answer that pondering question, Schwartz created the movie "Rescue from Gilligan's Island."

      • The scenes of the tidal wave that destroys the island and dumps the castaways and their huts out into the shipping lanes are taken from the film "When Worlds Collide," in which a meteor strikes Earth and causes massive destruction.
