Based on Short Story "The Most dangerous GAme". Calhoun is marvelous as the crazy hunter Calhoun. Because Gilligan is the only prey that ever escaped him alive, Calhoun goes insane {he certainly cant anyone about his "hunt" and the thought that he lost to Gilligan is unbearable!

Also the Allusions in reagrd to Boris Balinkoff and Igor should belong here 10175/
  • Hunter wants to kill Gilligan for fun.

This episode was just kind of creepy: some nutty hunter arrives on the island and wants to kill a human being. Hard to find that funny. The ending and the tag scene also do little to restore a sense of justice. Of course, this episodes ends like any other episode of Gilligan's Island...basically, the hunter screws over the castaways and returns to civilization without them. Then, one day, listening to the radio, the castaways learn that he competed in a hunt and goes crazy. Not very satisfying. Although we're used to the castaways NOT being rescued, I just think this was overall a poorly conceptualized episode.moreless

    • Jonathan Kincade: (to Mrs. Howell) And as for you, madam...
      Mrs. Howell: You wouldn't dare!
Jonathan Kincade: Don't tempt me. But I plan to start this hunt before noon, and I'm sure at that early hour your blue blood wouldn't be circulating.
Mrs. Howell: I've never heard such nerve! Why, for something important I can get up as early as anyone else!
Mr. Howell: Lovey, if the man says your blood doesn't circulate don't argue.
Jonathan Kincade: (to Mr.Howell) As for you I'd love to let some hot air out of your stuffed shirt.

    • Skipper: When I get back to the mainland, I'm going to have 8 or 10 pizzas, 6 dozen meatballs, 2 pounds of spaghetti and then I'm going to have dinner.
