This episode was just kind of creepy: some nutty hunter arrives on the island and wants to kill a human being. Hard to find that funny. The ending and the tag scene also do little to restore a sense of justice. Of course, this episodes ends like any other episode of Gilligan's Island...basically, the hunter screws over the castaways and returns to civilization without them. Then, one day, listening to the radio, the castaways learn that he competed in a hunt and goes crazy. Not very satisfying. Although we're used to the castaways NOT being rescued, I just think this was overall a poorly conceptualized episode.moreless
