Gilligan: Skipper, did you see that big mud puddle behind the hut? Skipper: Well, yes. Gilligan: I didn't.
Theme of episode: As the soap opera says, each of us has "One Life to Live."
Dawn Wells later admitted that the woman who did the dubbing for her was Jackie DeShannon, who had hits with the songs "What the World Needs Now (Is Love Sweet Love) and Put a Little Love in Your Heart". DeShannon would also co-write the song "Bette Davis Eyes", which was a number-one single for Kim Carnes.
Dawn Wells, who plays Mary Ann, has admitted that she's unable to sing, so her voice has been variosuly dubbed. Here though, she's SUPPOSED to be off-key, so she recalls that SHE did her OWN singing!
"I Wanna be Loved by You": sung by Helen Kane including the Boop, Boop end part. Betty Boop was inspired partly by this.
