In this episode when Ginger seduces gilligan he talks about her dress ( the white one that says ss minnow)as being new when its been used in many episodes before this one.
After it is cancled Mary Ann and Mrs Howell meet Mr Howell and his wife for lunch they say that he is getting parkonsins disease and that he is getting old but they are still young
During the run of the show and in the first two movies, the Howells said they never had children. However, in this film their son Thurston IV shows up after all these years.

Mary Ann returns to a fiance who's supposedly been waiting for her since she became stranded on the island. However, episode 54, "The Postman Cometh" made it clear that she did not have a significant other back home.
When the producer is going into Ginger's dressing room to tell her to get back on the set, it's believed Ginger smashes a chair over his head. But look at the shadow...the producer is putting the chair on himself!
In episode 2 "Home Sweet Hut", at the end the hut floats in the lagoon. Why not use the water-proof floors from this hut?

After Burt is released from prison, the pigeon heads back to the island and a shot of the castaways on the island is shown. However, the shot is the shot of the castaways sitting at the beach that is seen in the closing credits. Cheap!

The Professor, before Skipper and Gilligan bring another tablet, says he needs 8 more, meaning nine, but then after he has 3 of them, he says 7 more instead of 6. 7+3=10, not 9.
Jim Lefebvre and Al Ferrara were members of baseball's Los Angeles Dodgers at the time they shot this episode. Lefebvre would go on to manage the Seattle Mariners, Chicago Cubs, and Milwaukee Brewers.
