  • Lorelai must take Emily on her errands and Rory looks after Logan. Good episode.

    9.4
    "Superb"
Another good episode. Emily gets eye surgery and Lorelai must drive her around to help her with errands, Emily being blinded for the day was amusing. We finally learn that Emily and Richard were going to buy Lorelai and Luke a house but Lorelai breaks down in an upsetting scene. Emily even comforts her tearful daughter. That was a nice scene, to see Emily look after Lorelai. Also Lorelai is obviously avoiding Luke and who would blame her - he's acted horrible lately.

Luke himself deals with Liz who returns with two sets of big news, one that she's pregnant and two, TJ left her. After investigating Luke learns that Liz actually kicked TJ out because she was scared. In a nice brother and sister moment, they hug and she goes back to her man. Logan is out of the hospital and Rory is being overprotective. Paris and Doyle were funny as was Rory's strict rules on Logan.

So the finale is next week - will Luke finally see the light??
  • Botched LASIK surgey and 68 pounds of marijuana, only on Gilmore Girls

    9.2
    "Superb"
Emily decides to have LASIK eye surgery however it gets botched and so she calls up Lorelai to drive her around to do her errands. Also Sookie and Jackson find an entire crop of marijuana planted in their vegetable garden!!So hilarious when they are running through the town carrying GIANT bags of pot and they run into not only the town minister but ALSO the town rabbi!! Liz is pregnant but is terrified she will not be a good mother to her baby so she takes it out on TJ and MIchels finds out he has been drinking 2% milk OH THE HORROR, funniest quote: Lorelai: Michel, why didn't you just look on the bottle?

Michel: Oohh-oh-oh-oh-ohh. You just know everything, don't you? You little miss-I-know-everything LOVED IT
  • From marijuana to LASIK eye surgery this episode has it all.

    9.8
    "Superb"
Jackson and Sookie find pot, Michel drinks the wrong milk, Emily's LASIK goes wrong, Liz and TJ are apart, Logan is recovering, and Lorelai is getting a surprise. All of these events made this episode superb. I LOVED it. It is definatly in my top 5. With every scene there was something that made me laugh. This episode had some recurring roles like Doyle, TJ,and Liz. That made "Driving Miss Gilmore" HILARIOUS. To balance the episode there was one scene where it made you a little depressed. Gimore Girls should have humor and drama. This episode certainly did. One of the episodes every Gilmore Girls fan should watch and love!!!
  • Logan come home, Liz is pregant, Lorelai drives Emily around town, and Luke eats his own words...

    9.3
    "Superb"
I thought it was funny how Rory asked Paris and Doyle to take care of Logan, that was truly classic for the series.

Liz tells Luke she's pregnant and that TJ left her, when Luke confronts TJ about the situation TJ tells him that Liz left him. Luke gives him a big speech about responsibility but apperantly doesn't take his own advice with the whole April/Lorelai situation. By the way, TJ is such a sweet heart.

Lorelai is drafted by her father to drive Emily around since she can't becuase she's just had surgery on her eyes. While on their little drive, Lorelai learns that her parents are planning on buying her and Luke a house as a wedding present but Lorelai tells Emily that there might not even be a wedding...and they have a touching moment.

Lorelai then craches at Sookie's house
  • not bad!

    my comment on this episode:

I loved this episode so good, unless Emily got eye surgery. it went bad and nearly got her blind, I felt for her. Poor Lorelai..! She had no choice but to drive BIG car, speaking of which..she really hate it.

But, when she done do her mum's errands and went to this final errand, emily finally met her real esate agent and talk about this big house. Lorelai had no idea that her mum and dad is doing this for her. Once she got married and etc, you name it.

But, she told her mum that she will not marry him. What? I'd like to know why!

of course, it was so funny when jackson and sookie tried to get rid of marijuana! Thank god that they finally got rid of that marijuana!

More importantly, I want to know what's up with lorelai???

  • a good and humuarous episode

    let me begin

i loved to see Rory's recation espacially when she found out what there was on the articleof the Washington post. really dont like Emily's regection to luke she still cant exapt him just as he is. i know that a mother wishes the best for her child but come on she treats luke with that superiority , i hate her when she does so.

luke right now is not passing a good time we can clearly see it from the way he treates Lorelai he is taking a long time to setle to this new situation. Lorelai is not the same she lost her glimer happines that onces had.

i loked a lot sookei and jackson the two of them trying to dispose of the marjuana planted in one of their feilds

hope the new writer will continue on the steps of the palladino because lets say it they did create on of the best shows hope it will continue to rise :>

  • Driving me "nuts" Gilmore episode

    9.9
    "Superb"
Since this episode leads to the season finale it is very clear and obvious what the writers are setting out to do. One thing is obvious between mother and daughter meaning Lorelai and Rory is that Rory is handling her relationship with Logan far better than Lorelai is handling it with Luke.

Rory is more willing to have open communications and is not afraid in the least to search for answers and to see the people in her life for who they are. She accepts their limitations, including her own but she is more than willing to compromise. I find her far more open minded and more heart warming sorry to say than Lorelai.

Lorelai in many ways, can be extremely immature and its not surprising that her relationship with Luke is going in the direction it is. Luke is more levelheaded and he is a regular guy who may need time to sort things out but he does it rationally. So its not surprising that Luke does not want her involvement in April\'s life, he honestly thinks that she would mess things up for him. Luke has never asked Lorelai for anything other than just some time for some adjustments and time to get to know his daughter. He has done an awful lot for Lorelai, is it so hard to expect one thing in return.

Many viewers criticise Luke\'s character but I think that the blame is really on Lorelai\'s inability to communicate right at the start when she first learnt about April. There are better ways to dealing with relationships and sulking constantly, and laying the blame elsewhere is not the answer.

Amy and Dan have certainly brought that to light in a very subtle way and its very clear to see that between the two Rory will be the one to have what she wants, I just hope Lorelai gets the same before its too late.
  • this was funny so it had to be a classic...

wow how could sookie and jackson be so silly. wow they got pot lol it was funny... jackson found pot and flipped told sookie and she flipped they think there gonna go to jail... jackson acts like the worlds coming to a end. former employs plant the pot in the free part of the feild. Logan comes home from the hospital and is cared for by an overprotective Rory; Liz has big news for Luke ;)(baby news) Emily has LASIK eye surgery, so Lorelai has to serve as her chauffeur. luke and lorelai have a little tiff... if you will..
  • Absolutely nothing happened!

    4.5
    "Poor"
The subplots in this episode were all stupid and completely irrelevant to the story. Emily being a pain, and Lorelai driving her around, Rory making a big fuss about nothing, Jackson and Sookie and their marijuana, but the worst was Michel with his calorie burning. It was soooo stupid and not funny at all. I love this show, but it's episodes like these that make me understand people who hate this show.

For those who didn't see it, you didn't miss anything. This episode contributed absolutely nothing to the story. Lorelai admitting it's just not gonna happen with Luke isn't new. It'd already happened during Lane's wedding. Even though she was drunk, you could tell she was just voicing what she'd already been thinking about before.

This episode pretty much sucked. They just needed something to fill the time with until the season finale.
  • Everytime Lor cries, I can't help it...

    9.0
    "Superb"
How can Luke be so blind?

He's giving advice for TJ like he's so wise about women and doesn't realise he's making Lorelai so unhappy until the point she's avoiding him.

How nice of Emily and Richard to give the 'dream house' for Lorelai (and Luke) as a wedding gift. But what Emily doesn't know is instead of making Lorelai happy she's pushing her to the edge of her insatisfaction with her relationship.

And I really can't help it... Lorelai is such a nice and cheerful person that everytime she cries, I cry with her.

I looking foward to the season finale, when I know I'll cry a lot again...
  • Finally, an episode that at least HAD something worthwhile in it!

    8.0
    "Great"
Finally an episode I could stand to watch!

I loved the stuff with Jackson and Sookie, although I know it was just filler and could have easily have been editted out. And the bits with Michel at the beginning were classic Michel--funny, but secondary to the plot!

I was very surprised by Emily and Richard's thoughtful gesture for Luke and Lorelei. I was actually touched and I love that Lorelei finally faced her feelings and ADMITTED that she didn't think the wedding was going to happen. Although, she never should have lied to Luke and the REAL Lorelei (the one the writer's have apparently forgotten that they created) NEVER EVER would have done that. She has been so meek lately, it is driving me crazy!

But the teaser for next week looked wonderful. Although, I am so sick of Lorelei going back to Christopher and of him in general. And if she sleeps with him, I am not watching a 7th Season! I know I couldn't stomach the clean up of that!
  • An episode of mixed emotions

    9.5
    "Superb"
For a start, I liked this episode and I hated it.

I really liked Sookie and Jackson when they found out they had marijuana in one of their fields. The two of them trying to hide all of that stuff was hilarious.

Michel was great too. I love it when he is junping and screaming around like he did in this episode.

I also liked Rory and Logan in this episode. I know most people disagree with me, but I do like Logan. I also loved Rory's reaction when she found out about the article in the Washington post. Who the bleep does Mitchum think he is?

It was really fun to see Emily and Lorelai together. Although they don't have the best mother-daughter relationship and Emily doesn't approve Luke, you could see that she is there for Lorelai.

Then there comes Luke. He gives TJ the advice he should listen to himself. What is going on with Luke? At first I thought he just needed some time to adjust to the new situation, but he is taking a lot of time right now.

Lorelai is so desperate. She is no longer the strong and indepent woman we know and I miss that. I hate it that he makes her feel so miserable right know, and I hate it that she not telling him that.

I am starting to wonder what the writers are doing. Do they want us to dislike Luke?

Are they just trying to postpone the wedding till the end of next season, or do they want Lorelai to end with someone else? I just hope Luke and Lorelai will be back together like they where soon, because I really miss them.....

this has to be one of the best episodes the show has done. i was a little disappointed that there was not alot of luke and lorelai moments. i have been hoping from the first episode that the would hook up and now it looks like it is not going to happen. then on the other hand i have been secertly hopeing that lorelai and christopher would finally get on track and get together. i would be great to see them be a family. i was totally surprised that emily and richard wants to buy luke and lorelai a house it was something that made me like emily a little bit. i totally thought that she would try to break them up again. evan though that could be the real reason for them to have luch with christopher you never know with them.

The only thing that really happened in this episode was Liz saying she is pregnant. Sookie and Jackson trying to dispose of the marijuana was slightly amusing. Emily acting like Joan Crawford was annoying. Rory trying to get a retraction from the Wall Street Journal was stupid. I'm starting to not like this show.
  • In my mind that was not only a "filler episode" but a truely good one because ...

    9.8
    "Superb"
"Driving Miss Gilmore" was a really awesome episode. It was nice to finally have Richard and Emily back. It can never be a truely great episode without them being in it.

I just love the Emily Lorelai chemestry. There was a lot of their bitter sweet conversations in that episode since Emily had to be driven around by Lorelai all day long.

But there was also a new aspect in their relationship, a close moment between the two of them. When Emily told Lorelai that she wants to buy a house for her and Luke, Lorelai finally realizes that there probably won\'t be a wedding anytime soon (or at all). In that situation Emily and her are getting really close and this is a completely different level on their mother/daugther realationship. Surprisind and good!

I think Luke was great in fixind Liz' and TJ's realationship which i totally liked but he seems to be forgetting about his own love affairs. I cannot wait to see whats going to happen in the season finale although it seems pretty obvious that things doesn't look good for LL fans [which i am not btw because i think they do not fit together. I mean they have some chemestry but not as a couple...but anyway...]

The story with Sookie and jackson and their "pickels" was also pretty funny.

I also think Rory and Logan work out great together and Paris appering in this episode makes it even a better one.

In my mind that was not only a "filler episode" but a truely good one. Fantastic dialogues [as the usual], funny stories... One of the best episodes in this season and i cannot wait to see the seasons finale!

    Gilmore Girls ROCK! :-)

  • If you did not cry you did not pay attantion. If you did not cry for lorelai you had tears of laughter because of sookie and Jackson.

I'm missing my old happy and sarcastic Series. Lorelai is so down, Rory is so busy and i feel like the whole Luke and Lorelai thing will never happen. AND I MUST! they are great together. And i love Rory and Logan, o they are so cute together. And Paris and Doyle and ther movie about the pinguins. I think this was one of the Funny ones, Jackson and sookie and ther weed. =P.

    "Poor"
Suki and Jackson running all over town with bags of marjiuana - not funny. Their behavior was moronic. It would have been stupid even for Kirk.

I'm tired of Lorelai's pouting and sulking. Suddenly a woman who has always been outspoken is a simpering nitwit, who is unable to communicate.

The dialogue was filled with rambling and babbling, there was no witty reparte. The spark is gone. Even Emily was a disappointment. I was even more disgusted upon viewing the previews. If this is the best the Palladinos have to offer, maybe it is time for the show to end.

I loved this episode. My favorite part and one that will always stick out in my memory is when Mrs. Gilmore has Lorelai following her around running errands for her. Their banter is a classic Gilmore Girls favorite moment. They are hilarious together. I really feel for Liz when she says she is accually going to try for this baby (no binge drinking, etc.) The plot with Jackson and Sookie running around trying to hide thes huge bags of marijuana was also classic humor. I loved every minute of it. One thing that surprised me was that April wasn\'t in this episode. Whe has been a huge part of the plot lately that I assumed they would develop her relationship with Lorelia better. But, oh well. It was still good and hopefully we\'ll here more about that next week. I can\'t beleive it, only 2 EPISODES LEFT!
  • Just because we are close to the season finale, doesnt mean we have to cut back on the fun..

Sure, anything involving Sookie and Jackson is funny, anything between mothers and daugthers (either Rory and Lor or Lor and Emily) is to laugh out loud, but everything else: FILLERS

God! I predicted that that wedding wouldnt be this season, but making Lor a cry baby??? that woman had the personality of a truck: bigger by the minute and always on the move... What happened to her? Luke is no match for her, sorry people; but in this, Im voting Christopher IN again. Luke, you had your chance...

And for people saying that Luke should follow his own advice, thats common on people give good advice to all, follow none...
  • Lorelai's doubts and fears about her progress (or lack thereof) with Luke hit hard as she is faced with some potentially exciting news from Emily. After Logan's near-death experience, Rory seems to now be okay with his philandering ways.

    9.7
    "Superb"
Filled with many humorous and witty lines, this is a fine example of what makes this show great. I found myself laughing out loud many, many times. The characters were as rich as ever and true to who they are. Emily was heartily dramatic; Lorelai, emotionally vulnerable; Rory has regained her spunk; Michelle... what can I even say? He's Michelle; Sookie and Jackson are harvesting fields of weed; and Luke, as usual, has no clue about what is going on in his own relationship, but is very quick to save Liz and TJ's love life. With massive drama on the horizon, life in Stars Hollow is back to normal.
  • Logan comes home from the hospital. Emily gets eyes surgery while Richard is out of town so Loriel has to drive her around for the day. Loriel also avoides Luke. This one was pretty good but next week looks amazing.

Ok this one was pretty good. Jackson finds alot of pot where he grows his veggies so him n Sukie have to get rid of it. That was funny. Emily gets eye surgey (whuch goes wrong) so Loriel has to drive her around for the day. Loriel is also avosing Luke because of the thing with April\'s mother. Emily tells Loriel that she wants to buy her and Luke a house for her wedding. Loriel tells her mother that the wedding is off and reveals that she believes that there will be no wedding. Logan comes home from the hospital. Rory was all over him doing what he\'s supposed to. But next week looks even better. It looks like Loriel might just go back to Christopher (I\'m sorry to all the Luke fans but her and Chris sooo belong together.)

    "Great"
This is not one of the best episodes. The opening had so much promise. I thought it was pretty funny. I really like when they have the witty banter. You just don't see that very much. They are really trying to diverge their characters. I really wish that they would but these guys in a lot more scenes together. I think that they really work well together. As a guy that is some of the main reasons why I watch aside that I have a really big crush on Lauren Graham.

It will be interesting to see how next season turns out.
  • Character Outline: Luke comforts Liz and Confronts TJ Rory cares for Logan and sends Paris and Doyle to watch him Lorelai drives Emily on errands and the day ends with a twist

    9.8
    "Superb"
This episode had several funny back stories, the type that make Gilmore Girls so great. They included Michel's WHOLE MILK intake and constant exercise, and Jackson and Sookie's marijuana fiasco. However, the three main stories were a little off. Luke telling TJ about how to understand Liz and try to read between the lines made me angry, because that is what he should be doing with Lorelai! I found Rory and Logan very sweet, but the spoilers for next week worry me. Matt Czurchy is signed for 13 episodes next season, and I think he and Rory are going to break off and she will return to ... Jess! I really think that Rory and Jess are meant to be together.

I think Lorelai will go back to Christopher in the season finale, but she and Luke will get married during the next and last Season 7. Luke and Lorelai are really meant to be also. I would love a series finale that was a double wedding between Luke/Lorelai and Rory/Jess.
  • At least Lorelai came clean.

    8.5
    "Great"
I wasn\'t at all disappointed, since I never am with the a new episode of Gilmore Girls. However, I wasn\'t as rivoted as I have been with other recent episodes. I thought it was significant that Luke found himself giving advice instead of receiving it for a change. And hopefully the words he used to reconcile his sister with TJ will sink in to save his drowning relationship with Lorelai. I found it an extraordinary plot twist that her parents were house hunting for her and Luke, as opposed to themselves. It\'s a huge advancement in maturity (and long awaited) for the senior-most Gilmores. I found the whole marijuana/pickle scenes completely superfluous and fast-forwarded through them, mostly. (DVR is our friend.) Although I did catch Jackson\'s line about how he had told his employees to \"weed\" the back half acre and found they had planted pot. His remark was, \"They never were that bright.\" I thought the pun was EXCELLENT, even by Gilmore Girls standards. I\'m glad to see Rory and Logan happy again; I think they are a good complement to one another, and are obviously poising themselves for a spin-off. Nonetheless, I believe Rory was silly about the whole Wall Street Journal article. She was obviously taking it entirely too personally. And as intelligent and big-picture-minded as she typically is, her reaction was a bit out of character, especially considering the way she\'d chewed Mr. Huntsberger out in the previous episode.

All in all, not a bad episode, but not one of their best, either. Can\'t wait until next week.

    *SOME SPOILERS*

Lately some of the episodes have been sad...because you can tell that Lorelai was really starting to worry if her engagement was endagered, and Logan had his accident which made it even sadder. But this one was really great and it kept my attention through the whole thing, with Logan's accident it sort of cleared everything up between Logan and Rory so everything started to get back to normal between them. Also, when Lorelai drove her mother around I couldn't help to laugh at the jokes she was making, but when her mother revealed that she wanted to by Lorelai and Luke a house, I felt so bad for Lorelai because she started to cry about Luke. Can't wait till next weeks finale! But it was overall a great episode
  • Finally something to laugh about

watching this episode reminded me of why I used to love this show.

lately it's been so sad, but today, I laughed again.

I laughed at Logan in his wheelchair making comments to Rory, I laughed about Sookie and jackson running around town with the garbagebags, I laughed at Paris and Duyle and their weird pinguinmovie.

It was funny all around, untill the end, when Emily showed Lorelei the house.

It brought tears to my eyes again and after hearing Luke give that speech to T.J. I wondered why he didn't take his own advice.

Maybe in the next episode he will.

    Can't believe it's almost over....again!
  • Big disappointment! Not the way to end a season.

    6.1
    "Fair"
Nothing actually happened in this episode. Absolutely nothing! It was an hour of stagnant lack of activity.

There wasn't a single scene with Luke and Lorelai together, not one. There wasn't any strong conflict, no big plot line and what little plot lines where there mostly revolved around secondary characters.

There was no big "I can't wait to see what happens next" moment. It just felt like any other filler episode, which really and truly disappoints me, especially this close to the season finale. This is Gilmore Girls! Where was the high comedy and tear jerking drama?

This episode's only emotionally resounding moment was the scene in the Realtor's office when Lorelai told her mother the wedding would never happen. But ever that seemed forced. The extended panning shot on Lauren just pushed it over the top.

I'm just disappointed. this episode does not live up to the reputation it has.
  • How can people be saying that nothing happened?!? Tons happened! This was a great episode!

    9.6
    "Superb"
First off... loved the opening scene. The ridiculous fighting between Rory and Lorelai about the sisters (the Hiltons? Duff? or Simpsons? I'm not sure) was so funny. And chalking it up to the spaghetti and meatballs. Adorable.

Liz's pregnancy was very cute, even though she lied about why TJ left it is nice to see them together and for Luke to acknowledge that Jess did in fact turn out ok, and to reassure Liz that she and TJ can do this.

Didn't really like the Rory subplot. I can understand why she was mad, but it didn't need a plot in this episode so close to the finale. something else could have been done involving Logan. But I did love Paris and Doyle taking over their apartment to watch the penguin movie. They're so great!

Loved Sookie and Jackson having their own storyline for once. I think this is the first time that they had one that didn't involve the girls. Pot growing in the field! Pot is always funny. But what did they end up doing with it? Hmmmm...

Did it seem like this episode had many more storylines than usual? Sookie/Jackson and the pot, Michel and the milk, Lorelai and Emily, Rory and the article, Liz an TJ and Luke. A lot was going on to follow.

My favorite moment of the episode was when Lorelai and Emily went to the real estate office. Emily and Richard wanted to buy Lorelai and Luke a house! How sweet was that! That's why they were looking around Stars Hollow! It all makes sense! I kept saying, Emily and Richard would never move there. And they wouldn't! How sweet was that! But then Lorelai admitting that she and Luke weren't getting married. So sad! And admitting it to Emily first, wow! That's a big thing. It shows a new closeness to their relationship, but also shows that Lorelai has finally admitted to herself that something is wrong in her relationship with Luke.

Part of me wonders if perhaps Emily already thought this and wanted to goad Lorelai into telling her, but in this instance, I think her motives were pure.

Can't wait to see what happens in the finale.
  • Lorelai escorts Emily through the day with a surprise in the end as Logan returns home and being taken care of by Rory and her friends.. Sookie and Jackson in the meanwhile deal with pot as Luke finds out about Liz being pregnant and TJ leaving her

    I really liked the episode..

First off, Rory and Logan, the walking out of the hospital was nice.. Rory being all like, can I do this, can I do that.. Fun! The making Rory lean down so he could kiss her was sweet!!

"Thank you for being who I want to get out of the hospital for."

How sweet is that?! I love that line

Also the Paris/Doyle/Logan scene.. so much fun! Didn't really expect Paris nor Doyle to do that.. but it would be nice to see them becoming friends in the end?! or friendly.. They really seemed at ease with each other in this episode. I liked that..

The phone convo with Rory was also nice.. It was nice to see her being protective and thinking she knows better then the doctor. It's also an improvement that she's talking with Logan about his dad now when you compare it to last year... Their relationship is much more about understanding and IMO this episode showed that.. they were there for each other.. They're talking!! It's nice to see a couple really talk on GG.. also I liked the sound of Logan saying 'Are you proud of YOUR boy?' .. I just liked the sound of that...

It's nice to see Logan recovering.. There were really some good laughs, including the bed pan and Doyle watching that penguin movie lol

Sookie and Jackson can always entertain me and this time wasn't any different.. I liked their ways to get rid of the pot and how they ran into the reverend.. I liked it!

The teaser, friday night diner, was also nice.. Some good old Gilmore Girls rantings.. That's what we needed and I liked the whole Rory Gilmore Library thinking what the grandparents did... Especially how Rory couldn't stop them :)

Liz being pregnant.. I actually like that idea better then when I first heard of it in the spoilers.. I think I needed to see Liz being happy with it in order to be happy about it myself :) Sad for her that TJ left her because of it but good thing that Luke knocked some sense into him.. Though it was a bit weird that he gave women advice though he doesn't really understand or get a clue that something is bothering Lorelai...

As for the Emily/Lorelai scenes.. I've missed those.. They were fun, especially Emily trying to set Chris up and the Emily buying Lorelai and Luke a house was nice and unexpected... She's adjusting to their relationship and accepts it which is nice... I also find it somewhat nice that Lorelai tells Emily that the wedding might not happen.. She's confiding into Emily and that's nice to see. Though I wish there were a bit more explanation from Lorelai as to why she thinks the wedding isn't going to happen.. But the gentle touch on her shoulder was nice.. Great moment!
  • Great episode, too bad...

    "Superb"
This was a great episode. As always it was funny and dramatic at the same time.

I really hope Luke and Lorelei are going to get married but that probably won't happen wich is sad. But who knows, only the season finale can tell us, or maybe one of the first episodes in the new season.

Eventually they should stay together because they are great together. I also think that we will be hearing from Christopher very soon.

The sixth season of Gilmore Girls is comming to an end and I know for a fact that there will be a big suprise in the season finale.

Oh, and the part with Sookie and Jackson was funny.
