"i think luke was just a substitute 4 rory."

    "huh?"

"No, Paul Anka was a substitute for Rory. Considering the way Rory was acting it was a good trade off. lol"

"I agree it was Paul Anka who was the substitute, not Luke"

Had to copy a paste...sorry if there is any confusion. I just wanted to say, If Luke was just a substitute for Rory, then why would she have run into his diner after Rory had returned, and said "now we can get set the date, we can get married" Seems to me, if Luke were nothing but a substitute, which he wasn't, then she wouldn't need him anymore after Rory returned. I agree that Paul Anka was the substite, not Luke!!

hmm, i seem to recall either lorelai or Luke had a preference for the best season for a wedding...does anyone recall something similar or is my brain going cross-wired again?

oh well, either way, which season do you think it's best to get married in?

    - i think Lorelai was made to be a June bride.

Good thought, but since, the show won't be airing new episodes in June, I'm going to say she's a May Bride. I think it would make for a great season finale. Plus, I've always liked spring weddings.

Sftballshorti10 and I need some help with our homework assignment. We need to know if anyone knows the last names of the following characters:

    Doyle
    Zach
    Marty
    April

We know that april's last name was in the episode but we just don't remember what it was. Thanks so much to all who can help.

I kinda hope they get married in the winter. Everything magical and important happens in the snow, and Emily even said she thought a winter theme suited her. I dunno if Luke would even mind as long as he gets to marry her sooner or later.

I think they should get married in the middle of next season, since with all the drama happening this year, it may not be the best time. And I am convinced that it'll be Kirk & Lulu's wedding next spring.

Ok, good! You kind of freaked me out there! You have a good point. Lorelai's storylines (in rory's absence) usually revolved around Luke.

The only way this one will get pinned is for the editor of Gilmore Girls to request it from a moderator. The editor can also request the old thread to be unpinned.

As I said, only the editor of this show can request this.

That's nice of you to PM the editor, but the editor doesn't have the power to pin and unpin threads. Only forum moderators do, and there are only 4 of those.

Another thing TV.com is lacking on, giving editors the ability to also moderate the forums that apply to their shows.

yeah, it must be hard for 4 peoples to control ALL the shows in this site. I agree, editors should moderate their own shows.

side note: TA DA! its pinned.
