Personally, I like Dean but not for Rory, she gets a hobo
The WB (ended 2007)
I love LOVE Logan! lol
I thought they were so cute together. Especially in one episode where she would not let him leave to work
I love the fact that he calls her ACE too. lol
Anyone but Dean, I kind of liked him for the first 16 episodes (and thought he was cute the the first one and a half seasons), but then he became a massive jerk for the rest of time in the show. He always came off worse in the Jess vs Dean scenarios. Also one thing that sticks out is in "Rory's Dance"when he says "I'm not going to fight you, you're wearing a tie" and "I'll kill you, you idiot", that's when I starting to dislike him.
Jess, although personally none of Rory's boyfriends seemed to be "the one" for me. I'm glad she ended up single to be honest because I think that she hasn't met the person she should end up with.
logan and jesse were both terrible for rory in the long run. jesse for obvious reasons, and logan because of who she turned into while she was dating him.
dean, i guess, was doomed to fail. they had to write it that way early on for drama purposes, and then they couldn't very well just undo what they did already (i mean they *could* have, but..)
whoever it was who wrote and created such a beautiful and wonderful person in rory really did her a disservice by not also creating the perfect male lead for her
Jess. He was the only one who could keep up with Rory intellectualy and artistically. Dean might have worked out and theymight have been happybut he would have held herback. Logan was a rich kid douche bag. Anyone else (Tristan/Marty) did not matter.
Hard to say.
I really liked her with Dean and that relationship worked. However after everything she did to him (not just with Jess but the whole affair thing) that storyline had been played out. Notice how he wasn't at the goodbye Rory town festival. They aren't even friends which they kinda were in Season 4. (Friends with exes is always weird in TV/movies)
Then Jess came along. I thought that would never work mainly because of all of his issues with her family. Rory is so close to her grandparents and mother and none of them liked Jess. Okay Richard never met him but come on, he didn't like Dean he certainly wasn't going to like Jess.
Then the whole weird Marty thing. Marty would've been perfect for her but whatever the writers put her with Logan. Logan. At first I hated him. He was so what I imagine rich kids to be like (and p.s. they can be. I've met a few in my travels.) Smart know-it-alls that think the rules don't apply to them. Then the whole cheating/not cheating thing which I was really surprised Rory took him back and was like, "No way. This guy is history."
Then the threw him off a cliff and gave him a new personality. Now he's all responsible and being there for his family responsibilities and his responsibilities to Rory. I started to really like him. Note to self: if ever I'm being a jerk in a relationship and want to get them to stick around throw myself off a cliff.
However that story played out. When a girl says no to a proposal...asking a guy to hang around after that isn't right. Rory would've made a great Californian and that ending could've worked. Her independent ending showed that she did grow up to be just like her mother. She could've married and had an "easy life." Rory took her road less traveled which is so Rory.It works. Is it sad? Sure. Rory has sought out love big time (except for Season 4. She was taking a break from it all as a college freshman.) Every Season she was dating someone or wanting to date someone. But not everyone finds that special someone especially by the time they are 22.
