  • Lorelai, Rory and Emily goes to Mias wedding in North Carolina.

    9.2
    "Superb"
I must admit that I am a sucker for these episode where the relationship between Emily and Lorelai has a chance to grow and become better. Lorelai reluctantly had to take Emily along for the ride, and it was very obvious that Emily wasn't comfortable at the wedding. She was very Emily, getting the other guests to get her water, and just sitting on the couch looking bored. Mia makes Lorelai realise how hard that period when they were estranged, must have been for Emily. So it ends up with Lorelai telling Emily that she understands it. And you could tell that it was really nice for Emily to hear that... :)

I also liked Rory's part in this episode. It was really good to see her being a bit hard on Logan and finally standing up to him. She's been so in to him that she has lost her edge, and it suited her that she didn't just forgive him right away for just showing up... It is going to be really interesting where the new storyline for Logan is going to lead them. What is he going to do now when nobody expects anything of him...? ;)

  • The writers are finally off drugs making this one of the best episodes this season

    9.5
    "Superb"
I have been complaining about what the writers have been doing to this show for the entire season. From the horrible and pathetic christopher episode to the boring relationship between Rory and Logan,i have hated this season so badly. And then, light at the end of the tunnel. The writers decided to stop doing drugs and he destruction of one of my favorite shows has stopped, for t least this episode.

This episode just brings back all the great things about the gilmore girls that we all love: tension btween lorelai and emily, great sarcasm, and sweet memories from seasons before. I was giving up on the girls, i thought there was no way the show would end in a way i would be satisfied, but this episode brings back the hope that i have lost. The gilmore girls are back, and maybe, it will be with this great writting that the show will end.
  • Better than most of the episodes this season. All three Gilmore Girls go on a road trip, and Lane has her babies.

    9.6
    "Superb"
I didn't like this episode as much as I liked the previous one, but it was still pretty good. It was nice to see all three Gilmore Girls together. Emily's lack of humor was also pretty funny, and it was good to see that Lorelai finally realized what her mother must have gone through when she left. I just hope that all the bonding between them over the past episodes doesn't go to waste and that they actually start to become closer. It was also so cute to see Zack and Lane ask Luke to be their children's godfather, and then later see Zack ask Luke for fathering advice. I really wish we would have been able to see Lane's twins, but maybe in the next episode we will. The most impressive thing about this episode was the Rory finally grew. She had spent so much time over the past seasons pinning for Logan and forgiving every bad thing he did. Finally, this time she stands up to him when he tries to crash the wedding and get her listen to him. When she said, "This is so last year's Logan," I actually yelled "Yes". Rory always had a backbone before, but seemed to loose it when around Logan, catering to his every need. It was nice to see Rory be the strong woman she is.
  • Gilmore Girls road trip...in a Jag, of course...and Luke is reverse adopted by Lane and Zack.

So...I was not a fan of the sixth season...Thought that ASP really lost her way, and actually maybe even went out of her way to alienate her audience...Characters that she had spent years developing were turned into people I didn't even recognize...I didn't hold out much hope for this season, especially with the Christopher/Lorelai elopement and then break-up...The Lorelai I have come to know wouldn't marry Chris and then three shows later be done...I was just about done with the show...I kept watching more out of habit than anything else...It was like a trainwreck...I wanted to know what else they could do to ruin what had been one of my favorite shows...and then they actually handled the Chris/Loreali breakup in a way I could wrap me head around...and since then I have actually been enjoying the episodes...Not sure how I am going to feel when they revisit the Luke/Lorelai drama, but for now, I am quite content to watch Stars Hollow baby showers and Gilmore road trips...I think the Lorelai/Emily dynamic is probably the most interesting relationship on the show...And despite Mia having to point out the obvious to Lor...I definitely loved how it ended with the girls (and that includes Emily) chowing down on vending machine junk food and watching Smith on the boob tube...I am not sure what they are going to do with the Logan storyline...I have never really been a fan, but was starting to make my peace with the character when they had him revert back into an irresponsible playboy...and actually find it a little sad that Rory continually falls for his grand gestures, but then again I have never had a millionaire fly down just to say he was sorry, so what do I know? Either way...This episode wasn't quite what I expected, but given my low expectations for the season, I am not complaining in the least...
  • A beautiful episode full of charm, wit, funniness and tears! I dont think the show could get better then this!!

The episode was really really cute, I loved it! I really loved how this episode was really centered on the Gilmore Girls, (putting the Logan and Rory bit aside) we haven't had an episode like that for a while! I loved Rory this episode, I am really glad she stood up to Logan, usually I dont mind these 2 but this episode and last, he was being a complete jerk and he deserved the cold shoulder. His apology was lame though and him coming and crashing Mia's wedding ticked me off. He could have waited a day, Rory hasn't seen Mia in what 5 years? I also really loved how concerned Rory was that Lorelai and Emily have a good relationship before she leaves. I'm really glad Rory pushed Lorelai and Emily into going on that trip and to the wedding together cause I think it helped them make some big steps toward a somewhat good relationship for themselves!

I liked that they brought back Mia, that one S2 episode wasn't enough, I really loved her character and seeing so little of her sucked.

Usually I totally hate and dispise recasting but they actually did a really good job at hiding the fact that it is a different actress, GG is great when it comes to stuff like this. My mom actually thought it was the same person, it took some convincing to get her to believe me. The only thing that was really noticable is the difference in height between the 2 Mias, I remember the other women being really short but this one was as tall as Lorelai. Other then that, they did great work.

Looooved the Emily and Lorelai stuff sooo much, they had some funny, sweet, cute and sad scenes, perfect mix of everything for these 2. How sweet was it when Lorelai put her hand on Emilys shoulder!!! *blushes* Oh and the car window thing had me on the floor!! Lorelais can be such a kid sometimes! I also really liked the Mia and Emily stuff, I'm glad they referred back to the S2 moment between the two women. I think DR did a great job at capturing the relationship and understanding Mia and Emily had back in season 2. two completely opposite but yet two completely the same women with so much respect for eachother!

The only thing that ruined the episode for me was the fact that you could see them giving the option to write Rory out next season and that made me really really sad :( When Lorelai was telling Emily how hard it would be when Rory leaves, I was bawling! I've never cried like that for any other tv show or movie before, even GG, I've teared up but never bawled! I knew that there was a possibility of this happening but I guess hearing it from the show itself just got to me more. :( I really hope Alexis signs on!!
  • While it was nice to see Lorelai bond with her mother, it was disappointing to have another episode outside Stars Hollow. I did like all 3 Gilmore Girls spending quality time together however. I miss the Stars Hollow characters - except Lane and Zack.

    "Good"
This whole season, everything has been so out of whack. Lane and Zack are definitely not my favorite storyline. And they have had a pretty prominent storyline. They seem so weird together if you ask me. I like Lane in the days when she was with Dave. It is okay with Lane and Zack as bandmates, especially when Brian and Gil are also in the mix. I liked where Logan and Rory's relationship went in this episode. Logan needs to grow up. This episode showed him taking responsibility for his mistakes. And good for Rory sticking to her guns on that point that he needs to own up to his failure! It would be nice if they can help each other get to the next stage, maybe even be apart for a while. I really hope the writers are not leading them towards getting married. I don't think either one of them is ready for that, but especially Logan. I am a HUGE Luke and Lorelai fan, they were amazing as a couple! And I understand for storyline sake, they have to break up now and again, but now that Christopher is out of the picture, can't they at least be friends again! Maybe start to patch things up again.

I think the show is so lacking these days with its old lightness and joi de vivre, and if they can bring Lorelai back to hanging out at Luke's and/or with Luke, that would help. Even as friends, their connection always made the show for me. Also, even though Christopher and Lorelai are not meant to end up together, I hope they bring Christopher back in some capacity. I did like him on the show. He was a great character. Maybe start developing a solid bond with Rory. Maybe he could even bring Luke and Lorelai back together. Wouldn't that be a twist! I also miss the shows when Taylor is doing something to the town or causing chaos in Luke's life.
  • A Gilmore Girls Roadtrip to see Mia during her wedding

The three gilmore women grow in this episode and expand. One becomes more independent, one sees her mother in a new light, and one realizes she didnt miss out on as much as she thought. This was a great episode and left you feeling good. Oh and Lang has her twins though I thought they would make a bigger deal out of it, I mean at least show us the babys. oh well mabye next episode.
  • It was a pretty good episode, but it went by very slowly. It was still all Gilmore.

    "Good"
I liked seeing Emily 'hang' with the girls as they went on their road trip to North Carolina. It was also nice to see Lor and her mother ALMOST have a tender moment in the hotel room. It was very funny when Lorelai made fun of her Mother for liking Will Smith. This episode was kind of slow, because they weren't in town, and besides the girls and Logan, there weren't any other Townies. Logan's attempt to smooth things over with Rory was only ok. I really thought the writers could've made his arrival a lot more confrontational, but whatever. Great show.
  • A wedding in North Carolina, well we know what this means. Gilmore road trip!

Finally a good Gilmore girls episode. There where three storylines in this episode the Luke/Lane/Zack storyline, the Rory/Logan storyline and the Emily/Lorelai/Mia storyline. The last one was my favourite. Even though Emily was a little rude on the reception, I understand why she is that way. It's good that Lorelai also finally understands something about Emily because it's not all Emily's fault that there relationship is bad. I really loved the ending, it was an old fashion Gilmore movie night but this time it was not only Lorelai and Rory. The final comments where so funny when Emily said that she thought Will Smith was handsome. I suddenly got this image in my head of Emily watching The Fresh Prince Of Bell Air.

The other two storylines where not bad but just not as interesting as the Lorelai/Emily storyline.

I really loved this episode. I liked that after 5 years they finally brought back Mia for an episode. It did not seem right that they brought a different actress to play the role. I thought that it was really rude of Logan to show up at the wedding an want to talk to her. I thought that it was nice of Emily to want to go but i was getting annoyed with her but i can understand why she was acting like a child. I was happy that Lane had her babies but i was disappointed that we did not see them all we got was comments from Lorelai Rory and Emily.
  • This is totally what Gilmore Girls was and always will be about! Perfect episode, I love the Logan-Rory exchanges as well as all the Gilmore women bonding! This is a classic example of a great episode of Gilmore Girls!!!

This episode was amazing and should not be overlooked as another filler! The beginning with choosing the suits was a cute intro to the episode and it just kept getting better. Logan and Rory had a fight, but the conclusion to their fight was really cute as well. Rory learned to stand her ground and stand up to Logan which worked out really well for her character and is a great addition to their relationship. The interchanges between Zach, Luke and Lane are hilarious. Luke is asked to be the godfather of the twins and of course, can't refuse. Lorelai and Emily work on their relationship after Mia discloses the conversation she had with Emily at the Independence Inn in Season 2 or 3. It's about time that Emily and Lorelai worked things out and this was the perfect first step in a positive direction! This episode was amazing and I'll leave you to discover the rest on your own!!!!!!!!
  • Lorelai, Rory and Emily go to Mia's wedding, Logan quits working at his dad's office, Lane has her babies.

With episodes like this I am starting to get nervous that they won't be picked up for an 8th season! Nothing happened at all..this was like a filler episode when the filler episodes should have happened like 2-3 weeks ago. They should have left with a huge climax but they didn't. Everything was taken care of before the episode ended and what the heck is going on with Luke and Lorelai--are they going to start back up again now that Chris is out of the picture? (I hope)..I don't know...very lame episode...it was good but nothing like Gilmore Girls use to be!
  • Lor, Rory & Emily on the road to see Mia. Interesting

I am so glad they brougth Mia back. It was different Mia, but nice to see a little history shown on the show. You forget a lot of Emily's anger to towards Lorelai stems from her running off when she had Rory. As a mother myslef I can see how that would be hell. Emily having to see the woman who was a surrogate mother to her girls had to be painful for her. I have to say Mia shold have thought of that before insisting she come.

It was hilarious to see the scenes with Luke & Zach & the whole Emily, Lorelai window scene was hilarious. Good for Rory telling off Logan. He is a grown man & should have been taking more responsiblity for his actions. Can't wait for the next episode.
  • The Gilmore Women grow closer when they are thrown together for a roadtrip

    10
    "Perfect"
Lorelai didn't like the thought of having her mother around on this trip, but eventually came to terms with the situation and in the end found out how much her mother really cared about her. Emily must have felt awful at that wedding, seeing her daughter and granddaughter with the woman who pretty much took her role for years... But I liked how they watched a Will Smith movie and had junk food in the end, it was just such a sweet storyline!!

And I really loved Logan! I was so afraid the whole crisis at work would kinda bring out the old Logan, but here is the mature and caring Logan again. I just loved how Rory was persistant though and in the end it was all fine again! :-)

Well, Luke was also funny this episode, but I'm honestly just waiting for the next storyline for him and Lorelai, don't care so much about the in between-stuff :)
  • The best Gilmore Girls of the season.

This episode was what we all were waiting for. Our Gilmore Girls are now officially back and I really don't want to hear any bad comments about this season anymore. This episode was better than most of the Season 6 episodes and I enjoyed it more than anything. The car window fight between Emily and Lorelai was so funny. I couldn't stop myself from watching it over and over again. Lauren Graham is the most talented actress I've ever seen, really. And the ending scene was great too. But I think the writers need to make their minds about Lane's baby number. Rory said "Lane had her baby" instead of "babies" and in last weeks promo it said "except the baby itself". I mean is it that hard to keep in mind that Lane is having twins? There's one last thing. I don't know if the Season 8 is official yet, which I think it will be soon, but seems like they're writing off Rory. They're sending her away because Alexis Bledel won't sign a new contract. But they're opening a closed door. Emily-Lorelai will be our new Gilmore Girls maybe? Personally I would like to see Rory in season 8, but truly I can live without her either. As long as I get more Gilmore Girls.
  • This was one of the best episodes of the season!

This was a really good and touching episode. I like how the new executive producer(David Rosenthal) mentioned how Emily, in a previous episode, went to Mia and asked her for pics of the girls from back when. It was cool to see the Gilmore Girls all getting along and bonding together, especially Lorelai and Emily!! it was a cute episode.
  • Grandmother, mother, and daughter interactions was priceless. Sometimes that is what life is all about.

    "Perfect"
Great interaction between all three generations. I have watched every episode. All three characters have really grown. The love between Lorelai and Emily was so cold in the first season. The only place they could go is up. Emily is priceless when her guard is down. (eg.the last scene) Lorelai is going to do great no matter where Rory works. She will be in her life on daily basis. She's a great mom. Rory was very mature in her worries for her grandmother and mother. She knows that it will take alot more to get those two in good relationship.

Logan and Rory I am so happy how both worked out their problems. It was about time that Logan became his own man. Rory taking a stand and not giving an inch to Logan was what they both needed. Luke and Zack now that is the weirdest combination that makes perfect sense in Stars Hollow. Congrats to Lane and Zack!! I am looking foward to the rest of the season.
  • Not all is forgiven just like that..sometimes it needs some time..

A good episode of Gilmore Girls.. I loved the way all the generations connected. We had the cute Emily/Lorelai moments, we had the Lorelai/Rory moments, and we even had the pride Emily/Rory moment.

I've seen some comments about the 'heartbreaking Rory' comment, made by Emily, but to me it was pretty innocent. More along the lines that she's a pretty girl and can get every guy she wants, at least in the eyes of Emily Gilmore. That's how I got it.

It was nice to see Mia being mentioned again. I know that it was a different Mia then back in season 2, but I wasn't bothered by it. Mostly because we only saw that Mia once, so meh.. I enjoyed seeing her though.. The wedding was cute and there were definitely a lot of nice scenes.

It was nice of lorelai to tell Emily that she understands what it must have felt like, to not see your daughter that often. A typical Emily reaction to it, but at least she acknowledged it. Zach was really cute by freaking out about being a dad, and finally Luke gave some good advice. It took a while, also that awkward diner. Funny, awkward, but very funny in the end LOL..

Rory and Logan... I get that Logan was acting like a jerk. He was being irresponsible and not acting like an adult, and I'm glad Rory told him about that. He needed that or else he would have been stuck in that for a while. So it was sweet of him to fly down to North Carolina to see Rory, but it was nice of Rory to say that it won't help every time something is wrong and she just made him wait on the streets by his car.. and he waited.. I mean, I like that!

Logan finally explained what he felt and he said he quit his job! I knew that was going to happen but I'm so anxious to see how this storyline will turn out!

The last scene was classic though.. Emily who loves Will Smith?! LOL

and richard in that outfit! LMAO

In the end a good ep!! *nod*

it sounds like a fab series and it will shore be a hit in austraila and i think that all the such as Edward Herrmann ( richard gilmore), Matt Czuchry(Logan Hurtsberger)Scott patterson (luke danes) kelly bishop ( emily gilmore) keiko agena(lane kim ) luren geaham (lorelai gilmore ) alexis beldel ( rory Goilmore)and sean gunn ( kirk gleson) i think that they have all done a great job working on the show for 7 series. and i hope that they make many more series in the futre beause it is a great show and i think that it should never end
  • Lorelai, Rory and Emily attend Mia's wedding. Luke helps Zach transition into fatherhood. He consents to be Godfather to the twins. Logan tries to justify his behavior and gets a rather cool response from Rory.

    9.9
    "Superb"
In this episode, we find Emily and Lorelai coming to new understanding regarding their relationship. Lorelai begins to accept how painful it was for Emily to lose her daughter. Emily...Well Emily is Emily but she has come a long way towards accepting Lorelai's choices in life. Realistically, the elder Gilmore women will never be close but they have learned to accept each other's differences and are working towards a tentative harmony. Lorelai has experienced significant personal growth in the past 7 years and has unfailingly extended an olive branch to Emily. What is so amazing about Lorelai, is that she does it on her own terms without changing who she really is. Emily is set in her ways but we see her beginning to show her pride in Lorelai and her accomplishments.

I had promised myself I would declare a moritorium on presenting arguments against the Logan and Rory union...Well at least for one episode anyway. Let me just say, Rory's first instincts were on the mark. Unfortunately, even though she is aware of his manipulations using the grand gesture, she isn't immune to their effect.
  • Lorelais' wall, built to keep out Emily is slowly being excavated one brick at a time.

    9.6
    "Superb"
I am glad to see that Mia, the woman whom helped Lorelai and Rory grow up, gets to make an appearance occassionally. It's good to be able to fill in that gap between Lorelai leaving Richard and Emily and where the show began. It gives the show more depth. It is also very important to see that Lorelai isn't so one-sided when it comes to Emily. It shows that she really does care about Emily and her feelings. I almost thought that Logan was going to propose to Rory. He didn't, but maybe it's coming. I love the fact that Lane and Zach asked Luke to be the twins Godfather. It was really cool to see that Zach was reaching out for Luke to be his father figure. Lorelai is working on her wall with Emily, maybe Luke will start working on his with Lorelai, and everyone for that matter.
  • Definately one of the best!

This episode of Gilmore Girls was definately one of the best! I loved the plot-line...they had a lot of great lines. This episode was definately a great episode off of the last one, Will You Be My Lorelai Gilmore?, it was very witty. Especially the Godfather Luke, the Zack wondering whether he was going to be a good father, Luke helping Zack with his break-down, Rory and Logan having trouble and making up, Mia's wedding, Lorelai, Emily, and Mia basically becoming friends, and Lane having her kids! I can't wait until Hale Bale Maze when, we most likely will be seeing Lane's kids, and Rory and Logan. All in all...fantastic episode!!!
  • This epsiode is a fine example of why i like this show so much, The friction between Lorelai and Emily and Rory is growing up so fast as a character. Logan is proving to be a real jerk an immature jerk at that.

    9.7
    "Superb"
The trip part was so realistic anybody that has taken a trip with a complicated relative or parent. Luke a godfather is a whole new idea that I would have never thought up mysself. but he is a good strong man witht he ablity to make things right. "the knight and shiney Armour". it was about time for Lane to have the baby and start a whole new Stars Hollow generation on the up and up.

I think it kinda gave Lorelai a whole new way to look at her mother after she found out that she actually asked for pictures of her and Rory when they were not in her life. It gave a way to understand how her mother felt when she left. The Way Lorelai feels about Rory leaving. Who knows it will start a whole new relationship between Lorelai and Emily.

Lane had her twins how wonderful.
