  • Lane and Zach get married, Lorelai gets drunk and tells everyone how she really feels, Rory gets horrible news about Logan. Such a great episode, its just brilliant to see Lane so happy.

This episode was very exciting, we finally get to see Lane and Zach marry. Mrs Kim was very funny as always and it wouldn't be the same without her. Lane's grandmother coming was so funny, how Lane hiding things she got from her own mother. The bacherlette party wasn't exactly action-packed and wasn't really needed but it build up the wedding at least a little bit.

The wedding itself or should I say weddings? The Buddhist one was weird but amusing with the older Kim's shouting in the background. But the after 2nd wedding party was so great to see, everyone happy, music in the background. Just a feel good atmosphere.

But Lorelai soon has too much to drink and soon lets her feelings out ion a speech. This was sad to see and I just wish Luke would wake up and see that Lorelai is hurting. Rory and Brian's speeches were funny. The highlight was without a doubt both of the conversations Mrs Kim had with Lane.

The first about sex and the second about accepting her daughter. The 2nd was just brilliantly done and so great to watch. 'I'll wear ear plugs so I want be able to hear the noise that will be outside all night' such a good thing to say - for Mrs Kim. Chris seems to be stepping up as a nice guy - which is good.

Oh and talk about drama, Rory learns that Logan had an accident and rushes to be with him. I wonder how that'll turn out. I can't wait for the final three episode of season 6!
  • Lane gets married to Zach in a double ceremony, one for the Buddhist grandmother, and one for her mother. At the reception, Lorelai gets very drunk and makes a rambling toast about how she will never get married. Rory finds out Logan is in the hospital.

This was the first episode of Gilmore Girls I'd ever seen, and it is one of my favorites. It really showcases a lot of the characters' personalities really well. Lane's revelation about her mother keeping her religion from Lane's grandmother was just another way Mrs. Kim has been surprising viewers this season. While Lorelai's toast was embarrassing to watch, it was very important for her to articulate her true feelings on the subject of marriage. It was heartwarming to see Lane's happiness as this multifaceted celebration wore on throughout the night; from her little discussion with her mother to Hep Alien playing later at the reception.
  • I loved this episode!!! It had so much going on at once.

I thought that lorelai and chris were going to do something since there both drunk. Im sorry but i just dont like Logan at all.I think that Luke and Lorelai will end up together and neither will Rory and Logan.this show is so funny but stupid at the same time. I love it anyway. Isnt Logan and the life or death brigade really stupid. there like risking there lives even though they know theres people waiting at home for them to arrive safely.

overall this was one of the best episodes!!!!!Gilmore Girls is the best show on this earth !!!!!
  • Lorelai gives Lane a beautiful wedding dress. Lane's grandmother is coming to the wedding creating difficulties for Mrs. Kim. Lane has two beautiful ceremonies. Chris is Lorelai's date for the wedding.

The ultimate irony of Mrs. Kims life is exposed when her mother comes to Stars Hollow for the wedding. Since her mother is a Buddhist, Mrs. Kim has Lane hide some of the Christian accoutrement under the floor boards in her old room. It is so nice to see another side of Mrs. Kim. We have always known that she was very strict and that she loved Lane, but we saw a softer side to her in this episode.

Lane's dress was lovely. Lorelai kept it modest but made it pretty and youthful. The shorter, rock and roll wedding dress was so clever. I loved the two ceremonies. It was a little sad to see Lane walk down the aisle alone. I realize that they didn't want to introduce Mr. Kim at this late date, but she should have had someone walk her down the aisle. How about her mother? or the uncle we met in episode 6-12, "Just Like Gwen and Gavin"? Consider this...Luke has watched both Rory and Lane grow up. He is Lane's boss. Why not Luke? It just seemed a little too modern to have such a young woman walk down the aisle alone.

Also, why was Lorelai scrambling for a date? Both Luke and Lorelai knew about Lane's wedding before he decided to go on the field trip. Even if he decided still he wanted to go on the field trip, he should have come back a day early for the wedding. He should have been there for both Lorelai and Lane.

It was heart breaking to see Lorelai so lost. Come on Luke! We love you...but get a clue.
  • one of the best hours of TV in gilmore history.

i really liked this episode!! a lot of people said the show was falling apart during the second half of season 6, but i really liked most of those episodes. this was probably my favorite. the beginning was great and so was the middle and end. lorelai's speech about town being 'here' and luke being over 'here' cracked me up! mrs. kim is a really clever character too. i was sad that we didn't see mr. kim, but whatever: we got the grandma!! that was so funny with lane's mother hiding things under the floorboards just like her. i was sad we didn't get to see luke, emily, or richard, but whatev.

    christopher is alright but . . .

michel was funny!! his dancing had me CRACKING up!! the thing with the sidekick was funny and with that girl's avril lavigne shirt. i love avril!! one thing that really bugged me was that lorelai had a razr at the beginning and at the end of the episode she had a rokr. she also had a rokr in partings. i have a rokr too which is cool, i was just like, "hey look my phone." now i can tell the world i have the same phone as lorelai gilmore!!

I thought that this episode was really good. I thought that it was a fantastic way for Lane to get married haveing two weddings and also finding out that her mother also hid her life from her mother hence the two weddings. Then having her mother give her a long speech on sex like she did not know what it was that was really funny i had a hard time not laughing trough that scene. i thought that it was funny that Zack was really liking his robe. I had a really hard time watching Lorelai's drunken speech i felt really bad for her she tells everyone how she really feels and everbody just doesn't understand where she is coming fom or if they do they just do not care. i thought that it was really caring of Rory and Christopher to take care of her and get her of the stage. I also felt really bad for Rory when she got the phone call telling her that Logan was hurt.
  • Lane's wedding day

This was a great episode for so many reasons! It was great to see Lane and Zach get married. I like how they did it as well. The fact that Mrs. Kim lied to her mother about her religion is hilarious. Then you have the several wedding ceremonies and dresses. The end is especially good. Lorelai falls completely apart and Christopher is once again there to save her. The viewer is stuck torn between Christopher and Luke because the writers some how make you want to see Lorelai with both men, but both have their problems. This was one of my favorite episodes from season 6.
  • Lane and Zack get married!

    "Superb"
Wow Lane and Zack are getting married. I can't belive it. I think its funny how we find out that Mrs. Kim is hiding the fact that she changed her religion from her mother. Like mother like daughter I guess. Its funny that Lane had to have two different marriages. One for her grandma and one for her mom. I love the part where all the koreans are running to the church. I do not like when Lorelai gets drunk and says her drunken speach. I think that was kind of depressing. She really thinks that she isn't going to get married to Luke!
  • Zach and Lane get married while Lorelai has a meltdown

    9.0
    "Superb"
Zach and Lane get married in this episode. Being half Korean, I loved how they showed Lane\'s family prepping for the big day and the Buddhist wedding. One of the best scenes was when the Buddhist one ended and everyone made a mad dash for the church for the other wedding. After all it was only 58 seats and 62 Koreans. The reception was great; I loved Hep Alien\'s performance of \"I\'m a Believer\".

I was heartbroken when Lorelai made her toast. She was devestated that Lane was married and she wasn\'t. You could see the pain and disappointment in her face. Christopher let her ramble on for far too long before he pulled her off stage. Sadly, this is one of the first indicators that she and Luke won't make it down the aisle.
  • Glimpses of how this show is filmed

    "Great"
Excellent dialogue, and great use of the backlot set. As a behind-the-scenes geek, I'm always on the lookout for how this production uses the backlot at Warner Bros., and this episode continues in the Gilmore Girls tradition of using the town itself as a character. Watching the whole cast traipse all over the town square is delightful.

For fellow-behind-the-scenes geeks, watch for the scene near the end where Rory and Christopher carry Lorelai in to the house. When the door is standing wide open, you can get a great glimpse of the porch built on the soundstage. If you look closely, you can see that the uprights on the railing banisters that would go down the porch steps actually just get progressively shorter.
  • Lane's wedding day...

    9.7
    "Superb"
Lane and Zack's wedding day is finally here, but there's trouble when Mrs. Kim's mother comes to town and she doesn't know that she's not Buddist. So, Lane has two weddings with Rory as her maid of honor.

I thought that the two wedding was very classic for the series and the way they showed that Mrs. Kim and Lane are very similar (a la Lorelai and Rory) and it was funny when Mrs. Kim tried to explain sex to Lane.

It was sad when Lorelai breaksdown over the fact that she and Luke may not get married.

The Sidekick storyline was so not needed.
  • Lane gets married.

    8.0
    "Great"
First of all, out of Lane, Rory, and Paris, I always thought Lane would be the first to get married. I never thought Rory would marry young and Paris, well I am not sure when. (Although I was surprised that Paris lost her virginity before Rory so who knows?)

The episode borderlined on being too silly even for Stars Hollow. The mad dash from one ceremony to another was too much to watch.

But seeing Lane's mom react to her mom being Buddhist even though she is now a Christian and wanting to please her does make sense. I also think the interracial ceremony was done in appropiate tastes.

Overall, a good job but there have been far better episodes in this season. I think for a moment like this (a wedding of a major character) they should have done a little bit better.
  • This was a great episode. I loved the earplugs thing...

\"If you\'re lucky like me, you will only have to do it once.\" Classic Mrs. Kim line. But where is Mr. Kim? Am I the only one who has never seen him? I haven\'t seen every episode, but I\'m getting there, and I\'ve never seen him. You would have thought they could have rustled up someone for one episode geez.

Poor Lorelai, I hate that she got drunk, everything would have been okay for the most part if she hadn\'t gotten drunk. Oh well, of course Christopher was there, he always seems to be there at these kinds of times. All in all, good episode. Can\'t wait for the LL wedding (it had better happen).

I thought that this episode of the show was an average episode it wasnt the best but it wasnt the worst episode.

This episode was ok i think that they didnt put enough of Lorelai and Rory in. I think that it was a funny episode but i mean it was stil sad. Like when Lorelai was giving her speach i thought it was funny but i also thought it was sad and i felt a little bad for her. I just cant beleive that Luke is stupid enough to think that everything is fine with Lorelai i just think he is being really stupid.

This has got to be the best episode of the season and the funniest episode of the whole series!

Lane gets married in two ceremonies. Grandma Kim makes a vist and Mama Kim is all tense. Christopher ends up going with Lorelai because Luke is still on his trip with April. The church can only hold 58 seats but they are 62 Koreans. Zach likes to wear silk dresses.Let's not forget the yummy bartenders. Lorelai gave a speech about Lane and Zach but end up talking about her wedding not happening on June 3rd. It made me feel sad for her.

How can anyone not love this episode? It had everything that makes this show Gilmore Girls!

Its Lane and Zachs wedding and Lane's grandmother surprisingly comes so they host 2 weddings. Lorelai makes Lane a really different wedding dress. Christopher comes over as Lorelai's date. During the wedding Lane and Mrs. Kim talk about the future and what she has to do as a wife. Chris and Lorelai talk about Lane and Chris brings up the subject of how Rory might get married next. During the wedding dinner, Loreali takes 10 shots of Taquilla and gets really drunk and decides to give a speech about how marrige isnt for her and how she is never going to get married.

Ok so i thought that this episode was totally and completely. awesome. I know that the characters aren't real but I was so happy for Lane. The whole episode was kind of predicatable, they really do love having over-bearing mothers on this show don't they, but it was still hilariously funny and really sweet at the same time. It also made me happy because Chris was on the show and Lor finally let out the feelings of anger and hurt that she's been carrying for the entire season. Now that she's admitted what she's been feeling the characters may be able to develop more. But over all I loved it as usual.
  • Possibly the funniest episode of Gilmore Girls EVER!!!

So I don\'t think I stopped laughing this entire episode. The funny quotes just kept on coming. My favorite, the Jenna Jameson one. Oh man, Amy Sherman-Palladino is my hero. I\'m so pissed that she and Dan aren\'t coming back. But I understand that they and the WB couldn\'t come to an agreement. But this is one of the funniest, best written episodes Amy and Dan have ever done. I totally felt for Lorelai during her drunken toast. Poor thing. I hope she and Luke can work things out and get married and be happy.
  • Lorelai's breakdown...

    9.0
    "Superb"
I don't like that Lorelai broke down, but it's good cuz then she will realize how much she's suffering with this postponing thing and make Luke set the date already!!!

Lane's wedding was very funny, but I the stuff about Kim's mom being budhist I found kinda repetitive. Of course it was fun to see Kim also hid things from her mom but at the same time it was just like when Richard's mom came to visit and Emily got crazy about all the house decoration and all... Though it's not exactly the same thing, it just felt repetitive...

But it was a nice episode anyway.... and I loved the too many coreans for the amount of seats available thing!!! Laughed my ass off.

  • Lane got married.

This episode is perfection. I love Lane and Ms. Kim was SO funny. Speaking of weddings...what about Luke and Lorelai? It's taking too long. They've been engaged all season. And what about Kirk and Lulu? They've been dating a while, too. I think Kirk might need to lock her down because I really don't think that he'll find anyone like her. And what about his brother? Didn't Lulu used to date his brother? I'd love to meet him. I bet that wyould be hilarious. And how much longer until Rory realizes that she should've dated Marty instead of that JERK Logan Huntzberger?
  • Cute wedding, some cute parts, but overall, nothing to write home about!

    5.5
    "Mediocre"
Where is Luke?? And why do I even watch GG anymore? The past three episodes have been horrible. Yes, the wedding was cute, but Lane and Zach are SUPPORTING characters.

And never in a million years would Rory let her mother stand up in front of the whole town blabbering like a drunken idiot! It was sad and uncharacteristic! Lorelei is not a self-pitier. She is a strong, independant woman who has never needed a MAN to feel accomplished!

Please Luke, return, be a jerk or something so that finally after 3 horrible episodes we can at least get some onscreen dialogue between he and Lorelei!
  • What makes a great episode? Weddings, Some running & a lot of drinks!!

    9.3

Missis Kim saved the day, well tried to. I love the way Lane acts when her mom is hiding stuff from her mom. Missis Kim always was the one that had strict rules, no boys that aren’t Korean, must become a doctor or something with good money. And about that sleeping together. “I’m lucky I only had to do it once” did you guys see the look on Lane’s face.

Lorelai seemed hurt. I knew it had to come out someday. And with more than 6 shots of tequila she finally let it out. Thanks Chris for being there. =D.

Zack in a Dress.. or robe.. or whatever it was. It was funny!!
  • While the wedding seemed to come a lot sooner than I was expecting, the result is probably thus far the best episode of the last couple years!

'Gilmore Girls' has been a seires of a different sort every since Rory's graduation from high school. While the show continue's excellence and comedy and family values, there has just been something off about the show, and with this episode I really realized what was missing: Stars Hallow. It seems like the creators took a break from the town that we all came to know and love, and really never came back till now.

Lane's wedding was of typical Stars Hallow fashion, and it was beyond awesome to see all the characters interacting in a way that hasn't been shown in years. Lane's wedding was old-fashioned, one-of-the-mill, and yet it was still perfectly awesome... the small town feel, the drink friends, and deeply pious family members - all of it was beautiful and perfect.

And in true series fashion, the comedy keeps on coming. While I was expecting to see Mr. Kim for the first time (despite this being the 130 odd episode), we are given the consolation prize as Mrs. Kim mother! Which was awesome, because we now get an inside on why Lane was raised the way she was (not the mention we now understand all of the times Mrs. Kim seemed to relate to her daughter, despite her best efforts).

One last note, a stroke of comic genius: "62 Koreans and 58 seats!"
  • Lane and Zach's big day is HERE!!! Lorelai intends to attend with Michel, but where wild dogs failed, CelineDion drags him away, so Lorelai goes with Christopher. Lane and Zach wed..twice. But why's everyone running? 58seats, 62koreans. Do the math.

This episode was funny with a capital Hilarious...The fast talking, the mother-daughter lovin', the quick 'witting'. What was there NoT to love? Yummy bartenders, a double wedding, Mrs.Kim gives Lane the sex talk, Zach likes to wear silk dresses... It left me wanting more, and I suspect there will be more with Rory rushing to the hospital to see Logan... what's-a-matter? We will-a-see. Lane and Zach's love for each other is undeniable... unquestionable... unlike Lane's wedding dress whose pending question did loom: Will there be pants? Luckily, there weren't! Lane, as I quote Zach, "HAS LEGS!!!"

    Truly amazing.
  • Lane and Zach's Wedding.

Lane and Zach's wedding is on the way, and the thing to do is throw a bacholor and bachlorette party, but both of them are busts and they end up at Brian's aunt's house. Mrs. Kim tells Lorelai she needs a date. And since Luke is out of town, she asks Michel, who cancels, and ends up going with Chris. The next day, Mrs. Kim's mother comes unexpectly to Lane's wedding, but she doesn't know that Mrs. Kim converted religions and still thinks she is a Butthist. So they end up having two weddings, a butthist wedding and a regular wedding. After the wedding, the party starts up, the reunited band playes, Brain - the best man, gives his speech, and Rory - the maid of honor, gives her speech about Lane, but after having too many shots, Lorelai decides to give one of her own, but not about Lane's wedding, but about her own being cancelled. Chris and Rory manage to get her home, but Luke calls in the middle of the night, and Lorelai finds Chris on the couch in her room.
  • An other great Stars Hollow episode!!

It all started with Mrs. Kim preparing Lane\'s wedding. Everybody thought she would freak out about the dress, but instead, she only reacted about Lorelai coming alone to the wedding. The way Lorelai reacted was just typical for her, \"Lorelai Gilmore, disappointing mothers since 1968.\" I loved it!

Because Lorelai couldn’t come alone, she invited Michel. Michel was at his best. The crazy dances he did where great, not to mention Michel talking about what he was wearing, or even better, what Lorelai should be wearing to look good at his side!

When Michel couldn’t make it because of Celine Dion, Christopher was a good replacement.

Lane’s two weddings where the best, especially when everybody started running to church because there where 58 seats and 62 Koreans! It was really awesome that the band played ‘I’m a believer”. It fitted right into the episode.

The speeches Brian and Rory gave to the Zach and Lane where really sweet and funny. But when Lorelai went up to give a speech, I was hoping that somebody would get her off the stage real soon.

It was great that Christopher was there for Lorelai at that moment. I really like Chris as her friend. Hopefully Luke and Lorelai will work things out soon before she really falls apart.

  • Lane finally gets married!! Rory and Lorelai both attend, Lorelai finds Chris as her date-- Luke is out of town. Lane's grandma comes and it's an korean wedding--not!

    9.6
    "Superb"
I absolutely loved this episode. First off, Lane is finally getting married and it's about time that someone in Stars Hollow is. Rory helps Lane out being the best friend and all, while also busy managing her position as editor at the Yale Daily News.

On the other hand Lorelai faces the problem of finding a date when Luke goes out of town for April's field trip. Tension also builds when Lorelai finds out that Rory has seen April before, something that Lorelai might not be ready to do. Later, Chris (Rory's biological father) buys Rory a sidekick, and afterwards ends up as Lorelai's date to Lane's wedding.

Lane's mother Mrs. Kim has a nervous breakdown because Lane's grandmother is coming for her wedding. In the end they satisfy the grandma with a traditional Korean wedding and a modern one too!

    I LOVEE this show.

  • What a great episode

    9.5

This was one of my favorite episodes this season, I loved how Lane and Zack had to have two different weddings since Mrs. Kim's mother came and it was hilarious how after they had the first wedding they all had to run to the next one to get free seats. I was really touched by Lorelai's speech about how she'll never get married, her and Luke belong together so I want to see them get married. I was glad Logan wasn't on, I don't like him, but next week looks really good after he has that accident and Rory goes to visit him, I feel bad for her since it is her boyfriend and all. Next week's show should be really good.
