  • Rory forgives Logan, or does she? A lot better than the last episode, good to have just a Stars Hollow one.

    9.5
    "Superb"
I wrote this already and it didn't save, so I'll be quick. My favourite story was probably Mrs Kim and Zach trying to write a hit song. The whole hit song than marriage thing was very amusing. I liked the second proposal at the end, Lane reacted normally this time and you could see the hapinness on her face.

The start was a good contunation of last weeks end and I was surprised that Rory forgave Logan but she actuakly doesn't as the next day shes in Stars Hollow and is avoiding Logan's calls. She was good though, with the inn and Michel, plus going to spy on Anna at her shop.Lorelai not doing that was strange.

Luke is still keeping his daughter seperate from his life with Lorelai, why I don't know. Oh and Emily and Richard buying a house in Stars Hollow - who'd have thought it?

    Only 5 episodes to go!
  • Lane and Zach get engaged, and Rory and Logan (apparently) reconcile

    9.2
    "Superb"
The most exciting thing that happened in this episode was Lane's engagement. Zach goes to ask Mrs. Kim for her hand, explaining that he's on the track to management at the copy store. But Mrs. Kim says she wants him to prove that he can be successful as a musician. She wants to hear his demo tape. There seem to be no hit songs on the tape, so Mrs. Kim says that Zach has to write one. Finally, after many tries, he seems to succeed. Mrs. Kim approves of the marriage.

Rory and Lorelie are hanging out, after Rory comes to Stars Hollow to get some space from Logan. Emily and Richard come to Stars Hollow too, much to Lorelie's horror. They invite themselves over to Lorelie's house. It was funny to see the Gilmore Girls running around trying to hide anything that might raise a comment from the grandparents.

Also, Rory goes to Anna Nardini's store, against Lorelie's wishes. Later, she notices a new bag Luke has at he Diner as being from Anna's store. She tells Lorelie, who's a littl hurt because Luke turned down her offer to get him a new duffle bag.
  • Starting to feel like Gilmore Girls again!

    "Superb"
Okay, I was a huge fan of this episode. In my opinion, this episode was the last episode to air that actually felt like Gilmore Girls. I think most will agree that season 7 was a disappointment and season 6 was kinda of harsh, but this episode was refrshing. It had the laughs we've all missed, the two gilmores girls together.... finally! And the townies are always a brilliant addition. The conversation Sookie had with Lorelai in the kitchen did make me a little nervous, but i figured it was forshadowing or something, instead it lead to absolutely nothing! So, while this episode did have its ups and downs, i found it to be a great installment.
  • Rory forgives Logan, Lane and Zach get engaged.

    9.0
    "Superb"
I really liked this episode. Rory forgives Logan at the beginning of the episode, but only sees him again near the end. I reckon this was kind of her way of really forgiving him. She also didn\'t take any of his calles which meant booth of them got a change to deal with their situation. With regards to Lorelai and Luke. Till this point of the season I am really not sure of the way Luke is handeling the whole April thing. Why won\'t he introduce them to each other?

Rory goes and visits the little store of Anna, against Lorelai\'s wishes.

Lane and Zach are officialy engaged after Zach went and asked Mrs Kim for her permission to marry Lane. I loved how they wrote a \"hit\" song together.
  • Rory forgives Logan kinda.

    "Perfect"
I thought that this was a great episode. Rory was mad at Logan so she goes to star's hallow to pay her mother a visit and ingores all of Logan's calls. I loved it pay him back for hurting you by making hime freak out because you don't tell him where you are. I thought that it was Funny that Rory would go to Anna's store after Lorelai told her not to i think that i would want to know who she was though i think that is something that everyone in your life should know. I think that it is normal that Lorelai was freaking out about Luke going on a trip with Apirl she really doesn't know her and now sh e has to share him with her and she has no say in the situation.
  • It was nice to see Sookie again.

    9.5
    "Superb"
I know Rory is Rory, but I think Rory gave in and forgave Logan too quickly. They have broken up twice now and it was mostly Logan's fault for both and soon after, Rory forgives him! I mean I saw the previews for next week and it says Logan and Rory's relationship is getting strained but why did Rory go back to Logan if she hasn't fully forgiven him yet?

Also, LOVED the part when Sookie came over with the food and thought Lorelai was pregnant. Also loved when Richard and Emily came for lunch. LOVED when Luke was knocking on the door and Lorelai answers, whispers, "My parents are here." Then Luke turns around and walks away. Especially loved that part. And when Emily and Richard leave, Rory: "Your parents are exhausting." Lorelai: "Not as much as your grandparents." I'm glad that Rory went to Anna's store. I don't care if Lorelai didn't want her to go. Lorelai has acted very quiet around Luke ever since April has shown up. I hate that the writers are doing that. Lorelai has always been outgoing and strong opinioned in her other relationships, and even though one of them never found out that they had a secret love child, I still feel like Lorelai should speak up. I can tell you that a lot of people agree with me on that. I'm glad that at least one of the Gilmore girls got to see Anna and how she acts and everything. I hate how Luke is still blind to the fact that he's spending so much time with April and hardly anytime with Lorelai. I hate the look on Lorelai's face when he talks about her. I feel so bad for Lorelai. Over all, liked this episode very much.
  • Rory gives Logan the cold shoulder and meets Anna against Lorelai's wishes and Luke agrees to accompant April on a field trip.

    8.8
    "Great"
I was proud of Rory for giving Logan the cold shoulder he needed a taste of his own medicine, though I understand that might have seen his slight seperation with Rory as a breakup, he's a typical rich kid who desn't think before he acts.

Rory going off to meet Anna was a great idea, I alway thought that Rory would be the first to meet her. I was a little disappointed that Lorelai was mad at Rory for going to meeting Anna. And I loved the Pan Am bag that Rory bought...it was so Gilmore Girls.

Also: Luke agrees to chaperone April's frield trip.
  • Don't think Rory would do that...

    "Great"
Rory forgave Logan 'cause it was definetely reasonable to, but didn't feel right about it 'cause she was still hurt, but just avoiding him was a wierd move by her. Anyways, lately that's the way they're describing her character, it looks like she always runs away from her problems, like the time she slept with Dean and realized she made a mistake cause he was married so she went to Europe, or when her mother didn't agree with her getting time off from Yale, she move out to her grandparents, or when Mitchum told her she didn't "have it" as a journalist and she stole a boat... see what I mean. Inspite all the "lose" education she had with her mom supporting her she seems to have become an adult who can't face difficulties... whatever problem she has, she just bails...

Am not found of that about the show lately... 'cause it means there is no possible way to raise a kid with good personality... it's a scary though
  • Why did Rory forgive Logan so quickly?

    9.5
    "Superb"
I was shocked that Rory forgave Logan so soon & right at the beginning of the episode. When she went to visit her mum for a few days I didn't really think it was because she still wanted to get away from him, not until the end.

Lorelai's parents are looking for a place in Stars Hollow, that's going to prove to be very interesting.

Zack & Mrs Kim seemed to be getting along very well. It was funny how she was helping him write a song, she has a pretty good ear for music.

It's still pretty obvious that Lorelai still isn't over the whole Luke / April thing, and Luke still can't see it. Wake up before it's too late. It's not as complicated as he thinks it is.

Rory didn't listen to Lorelai & went off to see Anna. I know she meant well, but she really shouldn't have gone.
  • Lorelai finds ou her parents are looking for a house in Stars Hollow.

    9.4
    "Superb"
This was quiet a good episode. It wasn\'t one of the best but I liked it. I loved the part when all the Gilmores\' are sitting at the table having dinner and Luke comes over. When Lorelai answers the door she tell him that her parents are here and he studen;y turns away. His face turned from happy and smile to terror. I also thought it was cute about how siked Zack was when he and Mrs. Kim wrote that \'hit song\'.
  • Somethings rotten in Stars Hollow

    5.0
    "Mediocre"
Logan is still nestled in Rorys life, Luke is still neglecting Lorelai, and the times of the town feel less joyous and more like a soap than before. The Girls rarely spend time together and the smaller characters are given more space to make up for the absence of the nuclear duo
  • Lorelai still isn't herself, Rory isn't herself. Lane and Zack have a great story line. All in all, another installment to a really disappointing season.

    3.5
    "Bad"
Would the real Lorelai please stand up? I miss the days when I would watch a show and say, that Lorelai is my hero. Where did the girl go that stood up for herself? The real Lorelai would never let anyone else treat her the way Luke does. As a 30 something single mom, she was sometimes an inspiration, but not so much anymore.

I'm a GG junkie. You'll find it in my DVD player most of the time. So, I know these people, (I know you're thinking, get a life - I have one, really) And it's like I'm watching a completely different show.

For such an awesome beginning to the season, I just don't know why the storyline has them heading in this direction. I just hope the season ends with the real Lorelai making an appearance.

  • Things are changing - and not for the better!

    8.5
    "Great"
Somehow Lorelai has lost her edge - it's been happening slowly but tonight it's official! I always admired Lorelai for standing up for herself and what she believes in (for the most part) but this whole Luke/April/Ana story line has really brought out her weak side and I don't think that is a good change. I understand when characters go through changes or we see softer/harder sides of them but to completely give up what she believes in is too much. I hope that the writers realize this and "fix" her soon!

The Zack/Mrs. Kim story line was fantastic, I did not expect Mrs. Kim to react in such a way! Very well done - see, an example of changing a character (Mrs. Kim) but not going over board! Although I'm not really feeling the whole Lane/Zack relationship as far as marriage goes, this helped me get into it.

Rory was a bit odd in this episode as well, I understand she is growing as a person but to not call Logan or take his calls when she left town for a few days was a horrible thing to do. Yes, being upset is fine but it's unlike her to make someone worry like that.

I'm getting worried that GG's is turning into a completely different show, one that I'm not as interested in. Too many changes that are altering characters too much. I will continue to watch, I just don't feel the excitement I once did on Tuesday nights!
  • Rory forgives Logan, so she says, and then off to Stars Hollow we go. Lane share her good news with Rory and Zack needs to ask Mrs Kim permission. Luke is still going on about April.

I really think the writers are off track and running out of ideas!!! Since when did the women on this show just lay back and let any thing go with the men in their life? The reason this show works is because they are so independent. The title of this show should have been \"I\'m fine - not!!!\" This show needs some chemistry and I don\'t see any except between Lane and Zack. Does any one like Luke any more? Or Logan? The hilite of this show to me was Lane\'s Mother and Zack. The rest was truly forgettable.
  • Nothing memorable.

    "Mediocre"
This episode was better than the last few, but it is still lacking the charisma and charm that attracted a large portion of the viewers. Another problem I had with this episode, as well as the general storyline is the lack of character back-bone, so to speak. I really miss when Lorelai was assertive and independant, and Luke wasn\'t numb, blind and deaf to the world around him.

As for Rory and Logan, they are boring, dry and cliche.

I\'m still not happy with the Zac and Lane engagement; Zac is not husband material, or long term relationship material. He lacks common sense and is quite annoying at best.
  • Rory forgives Logan, but needs time to think. She goes to see Lorlai in Starshollow. Lorelai is quietly upset at the news that Luke is chaperoning April's school trip. Rory goes undercover to find out more about Ana Nardini. Zack asks Mrs. Kim if he can m

    "Good"
This episode was over all pretty good. The girls were having their own little quirky antics through out the whole episode. In some parts of the show Rory and Lorelai were being a little out of character. When Lorelai found out about Luke going with April on her school trip, she didn't respond the way I expected.Usually she would voice her opinoin about how she felt, or at least make some gesture that implied to Luke that she was feeling upset about the situation. However, she did get back to herself when she was talking to Emily and Richard with Rory. She made little jokes, or started in on her bits. Ofcourse she was very resentful when she accidentally implied that she thought they should come visit them in Stars Hollow. That was classic Lorelai, very good in this episode. Why I thought Rory was being a little out of character was because when she took Logan back she avoided the situation, and tip toed around it even though it was obvious she was upset. She should have made a Pro Con list about taking Logan back, and should have been harsher towards him when he slightly mocked the lists. She returned to character when she went to visit Ana Nardini's store. She was sneaky, and payed close attention to detail. She also brought Lorelai a bag back. Ofcourse Rory had her funny, quirky moments through out the episoed, like when she started jumping up and down with Lane when she found out that Lane was getting married. Personally I loved the song that Zack wrote for Mrs. Kim so that he could marry Lane. It was so funny when Mrs. Kim started re-writing his song. So great when Mrs. Kim stood in the background while Zack proposed for the second time.Great job for the living arrangement discussion between Lane and Zack, Brian was just there asking where he was going to live when they got married. As I stated before it was an over all good episode, but I thought there could have been a little more truth to character in it.
  • Rory forgives Logan, then needs some time for herself, so she pays a visit to Lorelai in Stars Hollow. Against Lorelai's wishes, Rory pays a visit to the store owned by April's mother, Ana, to spy on her.

I thought that this epsoide was really good. I thought it was a little weird how Rory forgave Logan like that. That was STUPID! Lorelai sould not be too over wellmed by Luke taking time to spend with April it is his job and he is her father and he is trying to act like it.

    CHILL OUT LORELAI!!!!!!
  • I didn't like this episode at all! THEY're not THEMSELVES!!!

    4.9
    "Poor"
Okay, what happened to everyone?!?!? First off I think that what needs to happen is Logan and Rory NEED to break up. Logan is handesome and rich but he's not right for Rory. I mean they are not right for each other!

Then the whole Luke and Lorelei thing! All I can say is ugh!!!! They don't talk about their feelings enough, and when Lorelei tries Luke doesnt want to. (Not that Lorelei tries to talk about it!) This whole daughter thing is WAY stupid. They !!ruined!! the story line for me. I don't like it as much, I mean is it that realistic that Luke has a long lost daughter that he JUST finds out about around their wedding date.

All I'm saying is this is messed up, they ruined the show with Luke and Logan being jerks!
  • Men are so clueless. Logan can't see Rory and Luke can't see Lorelai.

    8.8
    "Great"
How long is it going to take for Luke to tell his fiance about his other family? I'm not saying make every outing a threesome, but at least let the kid get a little acquainted with her future stepmom. I have a feeling this is all going to be for the worst. What the hell is he thinking? Could he sacrifice one dinner or something? And Logan is so wrong for Rory. The whole relationship has been a disaster. What happened to Marty? He was perfect.
  • Good episode. Not a lot of "WOW" things happened in this one but we kinda had a little "stars hollow" episode (which was needed!).

    6.0
    "Fair"
I missed the first 5 minutes of "I'm Ok,Your Ok". A scene with Rory, Paris, Doyle and Logan. Kind of made me mad because I absolutely adore Liz Weil. Oh well. I was especially happy with this episode mainly because the majority of it was set in Stars Hollow. This season we haven't really seen a whole lot of the "good-old corky" towns people. Shame. Lots of Rory and Lorelai scenes!! Yeah!! I did hold my breath during Sookie and Lorelai's conversation. I mean I knew she wasn't pregnant but the thought of Lorelai being pregnant with Luke's kid would be wonderful. I really don't care for Logan that much. I can't wait to see next weeks episode with Milo. To be more honest, I want something to happen between them again!! My heart keeps breaking everytime I see Lorelai's face when the subject of April or Anna comes up. Obviously she is hurt and emotionally stressed about it and she won't say anything!! And Luke is so blind to it! I hope the season finale won't break my heart too much!

  • Great, funny episode. I love that Logan and Rory are back together, but can we please stop this Lane and Zack marriage?!

    10
    "Perfect"
The beginning of this episode was awesome. Logan is PERFECT for Rory. He's like Jess (who was at a perfect intelligence level and culture level) but nicer and more mature, which therefore makes him a great match for her. Logan did not cheat on Rory, he is not in the wrong at all, and I'm actually disappointed with Rory for ignoring him and disappearing. Grow up, Rory...if you're still annoyed with Logan (which you shouldn't be because he didn't do anything wrong!!!), then just tell him and don't play a childlike game. Logan has changed so much for Rory and he genuinely loves her.

As for Lane and Zack, what a disaster. For starters, they're too young to get married, they have no financial stability, and the whole thing seems a bit contrived. Moreover, Zack is like a male dummy. He is below Lane on so many levels. If you look back to Rory's 21st birthday party, he just sounds so dumb and embarrassing. Zack is so inferior to Lane and honestly, he dumbs down the show. I'm hoping for the worst for these two only because I don't think this charade should continue.

Don't get me wrong, I love Luke and have been rooting for a L/L matchup since day one, but at this point in time, I'm almost hoping that Lorelai ends up with Chris. Luke is so grumpy, shady, and secretive lately. I cringe every time Luke and Lorelai are together because it's just awkward. I'm still hoping he wakes up, though, because Luke & Lorelai do belong together.

Overall, a very enjoyable episode. Lots of classic Gilmore-isms in it.
  • I know characters evolve in TV shows, but this episode had people acting against common sense, and in the area of the grandparents' impending arrival at Loralei's, Rory and her mother seemed downright mean-spirited as they conspired to make Mr. and Mrs. G

    3.0
    "Bad"
Rory is too bright to get sucked in again by the unctuous Logan. Paris had him nailed perfectly. And what's with Loralei trying to stop Rory (at 21!) from visiting April's mother's store? And how can the grandparents get lost in Connecticut? The bit about Luke's dufflebag was lame writing, too; if he was that in love with it (unbelievable), he surely would not have allowed it to be replaced with the gaudy Las Vegas looking atrocity that just happened to be in plain view at the diner. The good news about this episode: no Miss Patty and no Babette!
  • After an excellent start it’s all over the same again as we know it already.

    8.1
    "Great"
The start is excellent with the scene Paris/Rory and then the Logan/Doyle appearances. That was really well done.

Then we are suddenly in Stars Hollow. Lorelai is struggling with Luke once again. The happy news with Lane is a nice scene again, especially with the fallowing program with Zack and Mrs Kim. I mean it’s a nice idea with her music writing, but I can’t connect to it that much. I think it might have been much more fun, when she took his finances apart. You know when she would have asked: And what’s that? And he had to say something like a videogame. And she would be full of misunderstanding. Can you see my point?

Maybe the most important thing in this episode is that Luke locks out Lorelai more and more. He hurts her and he doesn’t see it. He is so involved with his daughter that everything around him is passing by. She is so hurt and sees that, but she is unable the face a fight with him and I don’t see why. I mean in this situation the idea of some time apart might be perfect for them. He has to find out how he wants to live his life with April and he needs to figure out, when he is ready to change his focus back on Lorelai. She needs the time off, so she hasn’t to hurt anymore. Even if Luke wouldn’t understand it, I think it might be best for them.

Emily is great again when she visits Stars Hallow. Something I don’t understand: They drive a British car (it’s a Jaguar, a Ford company by the way), so why is the navigation system set to German? I mean I would understand it, when it would be a German car, but this way – no!

The last scene was also great when Logan has to face the fact that he has to work hard for his relationship to Rory. He needs to regain her trust, even though I still think that she is overreacting, because she knew Logan’s natural all along!

So after all, nothing exciting, except of the beginning and the end. Otherwise nothing new: Luke is focusing on April and Lorelai is hurt.

this was a pretty good episode but it could have been better. the whole richard and emily thing at the house and when they were on the phone with lorelai and rory was hilarious, lorelai at her best, especially the hit them on the head with the mallet thing. and lane and zach are madew for each other!

This show had its good moments and frustrating moments. I am glad that they focusoed on Rory and and Lorelai, that is what the show is really about. Those two have very good chemisrty and they always make me laugh. What i don't like is that they are making Lorelai some weak little girl when it comes to Luke. She has always been a very strong person with every other person she dated so why is Luke so different. I wish she would just come out and say something to Luke rather than lashing out at Rory for doing what Lorelai should be doing.
  • rory and logan got back together, luke prepares for aprils trip and mr and mrs gilmore arrive in stars hollow

I thought this was a very well written episode, good buildup for the season finale. We will start out with Rory and Logan getting back together, I was surprised it happened so fast but was proud of Rory for taking off without telling him giving him a taste of his own medicine.

The scenes with Zach and Mrs. Kim were great; I can’t wait till Lane and Zach get married. The scenes with Richard and Emily were great as well. Loved how they were eating Macaroni and cheese under a different name.

Now Luke and Lorelei, I understand why Lorelei was so mad at Rory for visiting Anna’s store cause if Luke finds out it will look like she sent Rory there to snoop when she promised to give him space. I wish though that Lorelei would open up to him and let Luke know what she is feeling and finally be able to meet April and get the show on the road with this wedding

  • It started out promising

    "Great"
The episode started out promising but ended bad. I liked the fighting with both couples. Loreila rolling over and letting Luke walk all over her is getting real old real quick. Rory bailing on Logan was strange. Why on Earth did she go back to him if she hasn't really forgiven him?
  • Good episode. It sets things in motion for the rest of the season.

I\'m glad to have the Girls back after several weeks off. I\'m happy to have Logan and Rory back together, but it just seemed too easy. Does anyone else think that Richard and Emily are really shopping for a house in Stars Hollow for Luke and Lorelai instead of themselves? LOVED Mrs. Kim, always do.
  • Rory forgives Logan (not really), Lorelai accepts April (not really), and Lane and Zach get engaged (really)!!

    "Perfect"
This episode was great, and is definately leading up to big things to happen in the next few weeks!! Paris and Doyle making up was good too, because obviously they're meant to be together, just like Doyle said! I can't believe Rory went off with Logan at the beginning- I was so mad because you could tell she was still mad, but she's one of those people who can't stand hurting others!! The whole time when she was in Stars Hollow, and she wasn't answering her phone, you knew that things weren't ok!! The last scene between her and Logan definately showed that, and Logan knows it and hopefully he'll now realize that things are not ok and they can finally break up for good!! I loved the Mrs. Kim/Zach storyline- it was so funny!! And I'm so glad that she is accepting of their engagement because Lane and Zach are so cute!! The song that they wrote was really good- it can definately be a hit, just like Mrs. Kim said!!

I loved the witty bantering between Lorelai and Luke, which I have missed recently! But you can definately Lorelai is not ok with Luke's situation with his daughter. But if they are going to make their relationship work, they definately need to talk about things and get things out in the open. I hope Luke has fun with his daughter in Philadelphia though, and gets to know her better!!

Even though Lorelai is so freaked out by Emily and Richard moving to SH, I think it would be kind of a funny storyline. They were probably asking her a lot of questions about the house, and whether she was staying to see whether it would be worth it! I thought Lorelai's reaction was a bit dramatic, but anything with her parents can be. The dinner at the house was so funny, with the Pasta a la Sookie thing!!

This was a great episode, and definately deserved the title I'm OK, You're OK. The title applies very well to both Lorelai and Rory!
  • Some good \'ol Lorelai Rory scenes which have been missed this season, the Luke and Lor wittiness we back, a good sweet touching Rory and Paris moment. Who could not love this episode.

I LOVED this episode, we got to take a break from all the drama happening this season and got some good old humorous fun that we\'ve missed. Plus it got use set up for the last few epis of the season which is great. I couldn\'t stop laughing throught this epi which is so great, the spider bit, the elder Gilmore stuff, all of it hilarious. I loved the fact that we got to see a whole epi of Lorelai and Rory together, there has sadly not been enough of that. Seeing Rory and Anna together was fun, I hate how Lor freaked on Rory but I can see her point of view. All in all, excellent episode. Got to see some stuff we haven\'t seen in a while.
