  • Mother/Daughter arguments. Really good episode.

Really liked this episode. Rory finally cracks under the pressure of the Dean situation, along with other things. I liked this storyline, it was interesting to watch. It was weird to see them both getting along well as always at the start, with another Luke and Lorelai hint in the 1 2 3 game. But then suddenly things change.

Max and Lorelai, we don't see much of them but there an okay couple. I can understand why max would dislike that Lorelai hasn't told anyone about them, but I was glad that another argument wasn't formed. The end was quite funny, Lorelai saying she'd ring everyone in her phone book and she actually started to.

The notes thing with Lane and Rory was funny, how she avoided Dean. but then Dean turns out to be Lanes science partner. I think Mrs Kim shouting at Dean was one of the funniest moments of the series, hilarious. I can understand why Lane wouldn't tell Rory but also get why Rory would be annoyed. Sadly for Lane, Rory walks in on them working on the science project.

Though it was entertaining, it was strange to see Lane and Rory fight, both scenes very well done, Rory storming out, Lane giving her coffee. Then the whole Rory distracted in class scene, enjoyable. Liked her comments at both Max and Paris. The fight she then had with Lorelai was very engrossing, some harsh comments here and there, very well done.

Lorelai's worry when she found Rory was missing was great, really added to the episode. Emily's delight that Rory had turned up was in character, she even seemed happy that Rory had, had a fight with Lorelai. Seeing her be nice to Rory, giving her all she needs was interesting.

Finally, Lorelai confronts Dean and finds out the truth about Rory's break up. Liked Lorelai talking to Rory at the end about saying 'I love you' Plus, Lane and Rory made up! Next, the 1st season finale!moreless

Lorelai finds out why Dean and Rory broke up. She feels bad because she fears that Rory is afraid of commitment. Lane is Dean's science partner, but she is afraid to tell Rory. Lorelai helps Luke pick out a present for Rachel. She goes crazy and buys things for Luke as well. Rory goes to Emily and Richard's house after a fight with Lorelai. Lorelai fears that Rory has gone missing, but finds her eventually. She hasn't told Rory that she and Max are talking and might start dating again.

This episode was pretty good! I felt a little bad for Dean because everyone blames him. This episode was funny, there was so much fast-paced conversations. I give this episode a 9.0 out of 10!moreless

Well lets find it all out.

    Lorelai is back with Max.
the truth about Dean breaking up with Rory comes up.
Rory and Lorelai fight and Rory runs to her grandparents house...

Lorelai freaks out, she is so worried

I just liked the scene between Lorelai and Luke, she walks in with a ton of bags and only 2 are Rachel's presents.
The others are clothes for Luke, more formal clothes and then Rachel walks in and Lorelai is dressing Luke, funny.

I guess that is important that the real reason for the break up finally is know. The "I love you" and the all that... It's best that they can talk about it, that's the type of relationship the girls have...

And looks like Lorelai is really calling everyone to tell about Max..moreless

i felt really bad for both rory and lorelai in this episode. i thought that rory seemed to be in a real bad mood through out the episode and i was really disappointed in her went she went to her grandmothers house after a fight she had with her mother. i felt really bad for lorelai to goto her house and find out that her child is not home then to get a call from her mother saying she is there and not letting her talk to her i think that is when i go there with the cops to get her back. i though that it was funny when lorelai was yelling at dean and found out that he told rory he loved hermoreless

I loved this episode so much. its probably one of my favorites, for some reason. i have it taped and i watch it all the time. i think it shows how much emily really does try to \"win\" rory over. But also how lorelai and rory will always be much closer.

    • When Lorelai is proposing different things they can do to cheer Rory up, she suggests they get Indian food. But in "There's the Rub", Rory is excited to have an evening to herself where she can order Indian food, which she doesn't get to do too often because Lorelei cannot stand the smell.
Possible Explanation: Because Lorelai is trying to cheer up Rory, it makes sense that she would want to do something that Rory really likes, like eat Indian Food, even if she, Lorelai, doesn't like it. Edit
    • In the beginning of the episode, Lane stops at the market on Wednesday. Dean was not there. The next day, Thursday, Rory stops at the market clearly stating it was not Wednesday. She runs away the same day (Thursday). Rory sleeps over Emily and Richard's house. The next day must be Friday, the day of the usual dinner. But, when Lorelai comes to pick Rory up, she states that she would see them tomorrow for dinner. The writers made a mistake with the days of the week. Edit
    • If Sookie didn't know about Lorelai and Max being together again then wouldn't she have thought it was weird that he was there helping to look for Rory? Edit

Seven Brides for Seven Brothers is a musical about seven brothers who go into town and kidnap seven women to be their brides. It is based on the book: Sobbin' Women. The movie is set in the Oregon Territory in 1850 on the Pontipie homestead. All the brothers sport the plaid shirt fashion. Edit
